Skrevet av virksomheten
HSL is an award-winning family furniture business with stores nationwide. We’ve been handcrafting and delivering beautiful furniture to provide true comfort for over 50 years. Making people comfortable is part of our DNA and that is why we do it.
We have spent over half a century making it our mission to understand the different sizes, shapes and needs of our customers. We have learnt how people sit, rest and sleep; how their bodies bend and move; and where and why they ache. We call this knowledge CleverComfort™, and it goes into the design and manufacture of every chair, sofa and bed we make – ensuring that our furniture fits the bodies of our customers perfectly.
Award Winning
HSL has also been recognised by The Queen’s Awards for Enterprise for one of our innovative designs, our wooden knuckle. The Queen’s Award for Enterprise is a prestigious award for recognising British businesses and other organisations who excel at promoting opportunity, sustainable development, international trade or innovation.
Made in Yorkshire
Whilst our roots still remain in Yorkshire, we have welcoming showrooms nationwide spanning the entire country and a national network of Home Visit Comfort Specialists performing consultations in our customers’ own homes.
Family Business
As we’ve grown, one thing that has never changed is the passion for comfort and furniture being at the heart of our business. We’re still family-run, we continue to hold traditional values in our hearts, and we have always been dedicated to providing a caring service and excellent value for money for all of our customers.

Take your time
Very helpful staff in the Bath showroom. We went there on 2 occasions and on both times we had plenty of time to choose our sofa and chair. The second time was to choose the materials which takes a while but we were never rushed. Friendly and constructive advice and a cup of tea! Different staff on the 2 occassions - equally helpful.

Staff were very welcoming & carefully sized me up for the correct size of chair.
They ensured my knee & ankles were correctly supported along with my neck. Interestingly a Grande chair was found to be the best fit.
Coffee & biscuits were very nice too!

My husband has Parkinson’s and our old bed just wasn’t working for him anymore. I phoned HSL as we’ve used the company before. They sent out sample mattresses to try . And a week later we have an adjustable bed. One team took away the old king size bed . No mean feat and set up the old one. Great job lads. Used HSL before and would certainly phone them again.

Edwin and Garry are delivery stars!
Very friendly delivery by Edwin and Garry. My chair, footstool and cushions arrived in immaculate condition and were placed exactly where I wanted them without me having to re-arrange anything later. Edwin and Garry were very careful bringing everything in and leaving absolutely no mess behind, not even a trace of a footprint on a wet morning. I am very impressed with this company - from showroom to manufacture to delivery HSL has got it spot on. Thank you!

We got an ETA the day before delivery, and Edwin and Garry arrived spot on time. We were able to track their vehicle on route and had the gates open for them.
