May 2020 Faulty hoverboard received, asked for replacement, got one reply and now nothing, no response to any emails. Someone must know how to get this company removed from trading, absolute disgrace. I have a very upset 7 year old who spent all his birthday and Christmas money for the last 2 years on the £200 hoverboard and he is devastated!

Terrible company. They are not a UK company but a Chinese company shipping goods from Germany and if you want to return an item you’ll be looking at a cost of around £80.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They seem to have scammed trust pilot into taking down bad reviews. Mine has disappeared as had a lot of others. The company just sell faulty products from the outset. Bought a scooter almost a year ago, it has a faulty battery which they said they would replace, still not received new battery. They ignored our refund requests etc. Over 200 quid lost. 😔

Faulty item bought October 2018.
Item returned.
15 emails later.
January 2020......you guessed it!
Still no refund.

This is not a reputable company. I spent £500 on a scooter which broke almost immediately. I sent it back for it to be fixed and they returned it with missing pieces leaving it unusable. Customer service lied by saying missing pieces had been resent however when challenged to ask for delivery confirmation they just ignore. Avoid.

Appalling, Ordered three which had to be returned in November & still no credit back.

Ordered a replacement three & all broken within a week of usage. Company still not offered an RMA!

They are not to be trusted.

I cancelled my order, which was fine, however no refund has been received despite them saying they had done it and ignoring emails and requests for a refund receipt. Shocking company! As stated on their website this is not UK but abroad. Should have checked reviews before ordering. If no refund is rwceived this is fraud and i will persue further.

They are not based in the uk. They are based in Switzerland and therefore appear to be able to do whatever they want. I have spoken to Camille who is the only customer service person trying to deal with all the complaints. My sons hoverboard broke in week one and they took months to send a returns label, then sent back the hoverboard with no repairs done. Waited more months for another returns label and after 4 months they sent out a completely different board that was more damaged that what I sent them and also they did not return my charger so I now have a board with no charger and can’t buy the chargers from anywhere but them. THESE PEOPLE ARE SCAMMERS!!!

Taken more than 10 working days been 14 now!

I had reservations about ordering from this company as a friend ordered a scooter from them and it took a month for it to arrive, so I ordered a electric scooter from them with low expectations on delivery timing. I was prepared to be patient as it was a good deal.
I was pleasantly suprised when my scooter arrived after 6 days from ordering! Hoverboards.uk we’re also very good at keeping me updated on the delivery progress.
I’m charging the scooter overnight, so we will see about performance in the morning, but felt I should add a positive review on delivery as I did not have any problems and was happy with the service to date.

Zero stars. Awful. Do NOT use. You may as well take your hard earned money and throw it in the bin. They’ll send you a fake board which doesn’t work. They’ll either ignore your emails or tell you lies. They are thieving scum bags. Avoid! We only got our money back via our bank after demonstrating that we had been conned

This should be for TheHoverboard.uk but they seem to have frigges the Trustpilot system so that you can't post a review of their website.

If only you could give zero stars. Please avoid this company. I have reported them to Trading Standards and the European equivalent. If you are currently going through a case with this company ensure you log claims with the same and your bank BEFORE the 29th March because I assure you they are delaying.

My son put his money towards one of these and I paid on 2nd December. It turned up nearly four weeks later and immediately didn't work. I sent them a video etc at their request and since then (right up to today) they've been claiming that they've sent replacements although, despite using two couriers (and they claim DHL) they haven't provided a single tracking number despite my numerous requests.The claim to be "Discussing with the courier" but can't provide a tracking number...!

This is no more than a scam. Do not even think about using them and if you are currently going through what I went through then report them immediately to UK Trading Standards and the European Consumer Centre. Don't let this company drag your case to the 29th March because that's what they're doing to you.

hoverboard and cart ordered 11/11/2018 with 3-5 days delivery board arrived 30/11/2018 after I contacted them on the 26 /11/ 2018 to ask if it had been sent yet
6/12/2018 told cart on its way because they cannot send 2 parcels together
19/12/2018 told cart out of stock
so asked for my money back
after many emails back and forth me asking with only lies coming from them
28/1/2019 nearly 3 months later I got my money back for the cart
I hope the hoverboard continues to work

Dreadful company, cannot be contacted for support.

I bought a hoverboard as a Christmas present, it failed on day 1. I understood they may not be contactable over the holiday period but now 3 weeks later and several emails, no response.
I was confused by the website thiking it was a UK company, it appears to be based in Andorra with no telephone contact and no response to any other means. They do not answer online chat or email.

Not a reputable company. I mistakenly confused them for a site recommended by my friend (the recommended site is hoverboards.co.uk/ ) I have reported them. They falsely advertise they are in the U.K., they are not, they can not advise on shipping and over a week later and I still do not know where the item is. I have been told by a recommended hoverboard retailer that the hoverboard being sent will not be certified U.K. safe, if it even arrives. My bank has cancelled my bank card due to us believing this is a fraudulent company.

I ordered Three scooters for my kids Christmas... only one arrived and it would not charge.
I was told 'not to worry' the others would arrive separately - but then nothing!
The company are based Germany DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!
The scooter arrived SMARTHLON and would only power up when connected to the mains!
I left it charging overnight but nothing.
