This place is an absolute scam and ripoff, made a reservation for a town of destination and when I arrived I had no reservation and hotel was totally booked. This company made me a reservation 30 Mike's away with same hotel chain without my permission and charged my card. They refused to refund my money!!! DO NOT USE THIS SITE!!!!

I tried to make a reservation on this site which told me my card was declined. Not likely so I tried again and I was still declined. Checked with my bank and they put four $237 holds on my card. I only authorized one charge for $164.

I never got the reservation and they still have nearly $1,000 of my money.

They promised a refund within 48 hours. I’m reporting them to the attorney general.

I thought I was booking with Marriott but ended up with someone called Hotel Reservations. Big Fee unable to cancel.

This site is a total scam. Yes, you get a reservation but the fee is astronomical and you have no chance to stop or change it. Customer service is a joke...UGH!

This company as others have said is a complete scam.I booked what had all the looks of the Marriott website,booked a Toronto hotel and the amount on my Visa was not what was quoted and it showed up in US funds with the conversion which was not what I signed up for plus a service charge.I had cancelled mt res directly with the hotel then called these scammers to have my Visa credited and we will see if that ever happens so in the meantime I reprorted these thieves to Visa fraud department.I know its buyer bewhere but if I were Expedia or Hotels.com I would be concerned that these scammers make them look bad.In future Im not ever going to deal with 3rd party bookers

They present as the reservation service from the actual Hotel. They are not. They added taxes of $110.89 for 2 nights in Columbia, SC. It is actually $29.

What's more, they did not hold my room. When I arrived late, they had no room for me and I was charged $382 for nothing.

There is no one to talk to, they have fine print of no refunds, EVER!

They have nothing to do with the hotels rooms they "reserve".

When my grandson arrived at the hotel, he was denied a room because he did not have the credit card that the reservation was made with. Now getaroom.com is denying a refund because "the cancellation policy states that it is non-refundable".
A reasonable person would assume that if the hotel denied the room, then the reservation was cancelled and should be refunded, regardless of the policy.
I still don't have a refund 4 months later.

I Tried To Cancel My Reservation In The Time Frame Allowed To Me And Well You Guessed It They Said It Was To Late. Note: Please Do Not Book With These People Save Yourself Aggravation And Irritation. Avoid At All Costs It's Absolutely "FRAUD" Never Will Happen To Me Again!!!

I was planning a night away with my wife and tired the name of the hotel to pull them up. I clicked the first link that also had the name in the web browser. A website looking like the hotels popped up. I went through the booking process and when I clicked submit I noticed they charged me a $35 fee on a booking that was $60. The hotel directly charged $68 and with fees was ~$75. I realized then that something wasn't right. I immediately called the company and they told me sorry no refunds. I told them that was not current policy of the hotel. They said they're policy is no refunds. They told me if I can get the manager to cancel the reservation and call them back with the name and cancellation then they will consider it. They have already charged my card.
Their ad banner says that they have 4.7 starts from trustpilot but clearly they are lying. Do not book with them. It is a classic bait and switch scam.

• We booked a room at the Delta Hotels by Marriott Edmonton Centre Suites for the Roger Waters concert. When the concert was cancelled (due to COVID) both Delta and Reservations told us "too bad". Use the room for the day you booked. No refund, no credit, just triple the regular room rate due to it being a concert day. Delta pocketed $434 for one night and Hotel Reservations.com pocketed their fee.
• We travel a lot so going forward, I will never book through Hotel Reservations.com. I have cut up my Marriott rewards card and plan to never stay at one of their hotels again.

I called their customer service number which took a while for them to answer. I spoke to a lady regarding a reservation that was made in error and She told me there was nothing I can do about it. Want to ask to speak to a supervisor she hung up on me.

Do not book with this company. They are not honest and open about their fees. I asked when booking if I could cancel and get a refund and they assured me I could. The agent assured me I could get a full refund. She failed to tell me that there was a $19.99 fee per room that they would not refund. I called to complain, no satisfaction from first level agent, then spoke to supervisor named May who also failed to resolve my concerns. If the original booking agent had been transparent and told me about their “non refundable fees” then it would be my fault as I would have made an informed decision to book with them knowing the risk. But they failed to do that. They are a dishonest company that does not deserve your business. Do not book with them

Do not have anything to do with this fraudulent reservation site. I was recently browsing online for least expensive rates on hotels near my mom’s house. I never booked with any of these websites because I wasn’t sure I was going to visit my mom and I would NEVER ever pay full for a place that offered no cancellation and months out! The only way we found out about this organization is 2 charges that showed up on our charge card, one was $19.99 and the other for $866! I immediately called the customer service line, which was a joke, and this guy repeated that we wouldn’t get a penny back from them for the reservation I never made. After I hung up, this joker had the gall to send me the first correspondence I ever received from this scam of a company; a confirmation of the reservation (I never made) and the amount they planned on stealing from me, $878, plus the service fee for stealing from me $19.99, the total for this theft from me is nearly $900! Repeat, I never heard of this website, didn’t even know we had reservations until this charge! Thankfully, Discover has our back and is investigating these charges for us.

Complete scam operation. Reserved a 3 night stay and cancelled 15 minutes later, they still charged my card and refuse to reverse the charges. Called my bank and was told this company is the worst they have ever dealt with. STAY AWAY FROM THIS RESERVATION COMPANY!!!

On August 19th I booked a hotel for four nights in New York City. I had my confirmation and thought I was all set to go. When my husband and I arrived with our luggage, we found that the hotel was completely closed. A young man who was sitting at a computer in the darkened entrance told us that somebody should have called us. Because of the pandemic, it was possible to find another nearby hotel that had a room. Lo and behold, when I called that also turned out to be reservations.com, but this time it was a Marriott and was no problem.

After the trip, I called customer service, who took no responsibility whatsoever for this fiasco. They refunded the money for the hotel but not the "Nonrefundable" booking fee. So today I called again, explaining that surely they understand the shocking predicament we'd been in and that I had in fact paid them an additional booking fee for the Marriott stay. No amount of persuasion could get this representative to understand that paying a booking fee for service that led to NO HOTEL was unconscionable. So when calling a hotel number on a website, please make sure it is not the disreputable reservations.com.

I use this service first and last time, this company booked the wrong room, I canceled the next day, they charged the WHOLE amount for the stay over $1,000,
NOW can’t get the refund back to my card, I have tried to work with them, now they are referring to a memo for the amount. I will connect with BBB and my attorney Concerning this company. Just do the right thing!

Was promised a refund because of the riot in Atlanta. The hotel I booked made me and my family leave at 12:00am because they could not protect us or promise we would be safe. Called this terrible site to confirm my refund and they are giving me a run around. This was a terrible experience my family had to go through and this site should be more understanding. Especially with with everything going on.

This site is full of mess they placed me somewhere with the commendations that I didn't ask for,was suppose to be a suite so since I couldn't get what I asked for I canceled because they said I'd get a refund its been 12 days no money or conformation anything I will never ever go with this site again I want my money if I don't get i will be talking to my lawyer because I don't have money to give away to a bunch of cons.
