This EOR has always been transparent with the status of my contract, invoices, payments, etc. I've been with other employer of record companies and this one is the one that I've never had issues with.

Fake information - they claim being EOR enabled in Monaco Principality, which is not true and shows complete lack of legal understanding and transparency.

But worse of everything?
ZERO support - my two support queries were simply NEVER answered.

This is true on both employer and employee sides!

Avoid if reliability and service matter

Our experience with Borderless has been one of the most frustrating vendor experiences I have dealt with in years.

After working with them for nearly 3 years and having a fully negotiated legal agreement (including extensive legal review and redlines), Borderless incorrectly terminated one of our employees due to their own admitted mistake after we submitted what should have been a simple amendment to update compensation and title.

Instead of correcting their error, the process became a months-long nightmare.

Here’s what happened:

* We signed an amendment on March 30 to update employee compensation/title. Rather than processing it, Borderless terminated the employee.
* We repeatedly emailed support with little to no response for weeks at a time.
* We were openly told service had deteriorated due to employee turnover and operational issues.
* Borderless acknowledged mistakes had been made and assured us they would fix the issue.
* Days later, we were told additional documents were required.
* Then more documents.
* Then an entirely new SOW was required to undo a problem that they themselves created.

The most frustrating part was the constant moving of the goalposts.

We had already negotiated and executed a legal agreement years ago after significant legal expense. Borderless originally stated they would match our prior agreement and simply update the necessary compensation terms. Instead, they repeatedly sent revised agreements with material legal differences while insisting they were “essentially the same.”

When we pushed back, we were effectively told to take it or leave it.

To make matters worse, we were told a prior manager was still with the company but “on leave.” When I contacted him directly, he informed me he had actually left the company months earlier.

Mistakes happen. What matters is how companies respond to them.

In our case, the combination of:

* poor communication,
* repeated operational failures,
* incorrect guidance,
* inconsistent explanations,
* lack of responsiveness,
* contract bait-and-switch concerns, and
* refusal to simply correct their own admitted mistake

turned what should have been a straightforward HR/payroll update into an exhausting, months-long ordeal.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but businesses considering an EOR should think carefully about what happens when something goes wrong. That is when vendors show their true colors.

24/7 support” is pure marketing.
More than 2 months of payment delays, support unreachable, unanswered emails, contradictory information, and apparently invoices not even sent to the client.
For a payroll/EOR platform, this is unacceptable and honestly alarming.
Avoid if you expect professionalism, transparency, or reliable payments.

They always send the pay on time . Respond to problems right away.

Borderless makes it easy for us to review invoices and receive payments smoothly. No hassle at all! I've been using this platform for 3 years and 1 month to be exact and I never had encounter any issues/delays. While I'm writing this review I just got a notification of my invoice sent and it is 3 days early! Awesome right? Which gives me time to review it and report if there are discrepancies on my pay.
