Perfection
The trip was planned perfectly. Our guide, Natalie, was informative and had a great sense of humour. She pointed out every sheep to us (which was wonderful). The breaks were well timed and the recommendations for food were spot on. This day could not have been better.

A great introduction to Scotland!
Our guide Steven B. was very friendly, helpful and funny. He did a great job making everyone comfortable, answering our questions, and keeping us safe. Appreciated your music too Steven B.!
Although everything moved really fast, we saw SO MUCH! Glencoe, Loch Ness, 2 drive bys past the Kelpies, etc. All ‘round great day!

My friends and I took the 13 Hour round…
My friends and I took the 13 Hour round trip from Edinburgh to Loch Ness and back. Coach ride was smooth as you like through stunning scenery. And Stevie B our guide, was brilliant. Helpful, witty, and knowledgeable, his love of Scottish history shone through. Only downside was didn’t get a chance to talk to him about it!

Best tour ever!
We've been on quite a few tours over the years, but nothing beats this one. The scenery is amazing of course. But it all came alive through the wonderful stories, enthusiasm, and love for the area from our tour guide Peach and her lovely little assistent Trevor The Highlander (a cute little dachshund puppy). If you're ever lucky enough to find yourself on a tour with them, count your blessings. It'll be magical.

Not as expected …
We have used many tour companies over past few years however this was our first tour with highland experience. Right from the start it felt different. The others weren't engaging with Bob our guide. He spoke about historic facts but really didn't interact with the guests. I've never had this happen before. I don't know if it was Bob or the American tourists who weren't interested. Anyway when we got to the chapel we decided to leave the tour and get a taxi home. A really uncomfortable experience

Amazing tour
Amazing tour. Covered all major parts of Scottish highlands. Our guide Jamie was very knowledgeable and jolly. An excellent story teller, with loads of great in sight about Scotland and a fabulous taste in music, every story had a song played after that related to it. It truly made the bus tour enjoyable. The music really brought life to our 13 hours on a bus. Normally one would expect to be tired and sleepy but with Jamie it was the opposite!

Orkney Islands - a different view of Scotland
Orkney Islands are so different to the rest of Scotland and I loved this tour. The wild coasts and pre Stonehenge history. No crowds, peace and a feeling of space. Tour leader Iain brought it together with his enthusiasm and lots of very varied stops. Of many travels, I shall remember this journey and unusual landscapes. Thanks. Robin.

Not Worth the Money – Poorly Organized Trip
Unfortunately, my experience with this tour to the Scottish Highlands was extremely disappointing. I had high expectations to enjoy the beautiful landscapes and natural scenery, but the reality was completely different.
The entire trip was spent on the bus, with very few — if any — proper stops to get out, explore, or even take pictures. There was no real chance to enjoy the nature up close, which was the main reason I joined the tour in the first place.
I feel like I completely wasted my money on this trip. It added no real value or enjoyment, and the organization was poor. I honestly expected much more.
I do not recommend this company, and I will definitely not be booking with them again.

Hello, I am sorry you did not enjoy your tour with us.
We strive to showcase as much of the Scottish Highlands which can be comfortably done on a one day tour and factor in many photos stops as well as several longer breakfast, lunch and afternoon stops at places of interest and scenic value and hope that gives visitors a taste of what can be seen.
As a lot of distance needs to be covered, there is a lot of time spent on the bus, but equally we try and include the stops as previously mentioned and even some extra ones whenever possible.
We pride ourselves on our 5 star tour award from the national tourist agency but it is sad if we may have not met your expectations.

Daytrip to the Highlands
Me and my daughter took the 13 hour day trip from Edinburgh and it could not have been better. Our guide Terry with her energy and knowledge made the time fly by. And our driver Mike took us safely along the sometimes very narrow roads. Edinburgh is amazing but this trip was the highlight on our vacation. I highly recommend this company.

A wonderful day
A very enjoyable and interesting day. Steve B, our tour guide/driver was great, passing on his knowledge of the history of the areas we passed trough, and kept us entertained with anecdotes regarding the events and characters of the period.
Our bus was spotlessly clean, quiet and smooth, and everything ran according to plan. This was a professionally conducted tour, by an obviously professional company.

Had an amazing time with Highland tours. Our drive Scot was awesome and had a really entertaining attitude. The banter was really good and made it even better from all the sites we saw. I highly recommend the tour and Scot. This was the best tour I have been on and seeing Loch Ness and all the other sites will be remembered for a long time.
