I wouldn't even give 1 star! This place is outrageous! They all "seem" nice. But when trying to get a loan, they are committing the term USURY. If you don't know what that means look it up. My experience is with Heights finance in Joplin, MO.

Anyway I had my first loan from them in 2019 on a 2007 ford edge. I think the loan was under 10k (can't remember for sure. if it was over that it wasn't by much). But i was dumb then and didn't pay attention to the interest rate they gave me. After getting the car I see on paperwork that it was at least 30% interest rate. Which is absurd!!! Long story short I got rid of that car because of that rate... traded it in for a brand new Escape, and even with a brand new Escape I had a much much much much lower interest rate! (think around 10.. which is still high but still not 30+)

Fast foward to now. I applied for a 08 mustang from a car sales lot. They were being shady as hell throughout the process but thats another story and another bad review but anyway they only gave my info to this place. I didn't realize at first that this was the same place but once I realized I was like crap ... they gonna do the same thing probably. But at least I'm smart this time. So I was approved for the car for 7k loan (I had 6k down on it just as a side note). And the interest rate? Guess guess guess!!!! 35.99%!!!
I even told this lady that NO ONE has ever given me such absurd rates. ONLY them.... and I've have financed several cars over the years. She got snotty with that of course.

OK, so I know if they reply to this itll be well it depends on your credit. Ok I get that. HOWEVER ..... HOW IS IT ONE PLACE GIVES ME 35.99 RATE FOR UNDER 10K LOAN ... AND THEN WITHIN JUST A FEW DAYS, I JUST GO SOMEWHERE ELSE GET A BASICALLY BRAND NEW CAR ... SO HIGHER PRICED ..... AND GUESS WHAT MY RATE IS? ... 6%.

So, I'm sorry, they can say they go by credit all they want ..... but I don't believe it. I think they are purely out to F people. They probably pick and choose who they do it to, like those who don't have perfect credit to (like yeah mines not perfect but its NOT that bad!). They obviously purposely prey on those who don't have perfect credit.... therefore when people ask about why so high... this is their excuse.

So just stay away from this place!!!!! Especially if you don't have perfect credit! Trust me you can get better elsewhere! I have everywhere else with less then stellar credit. I don't get how they stay open with doing this to people. Glad I went elsewhere and got a better rate (and car). I wish they were listed on BBB I'd post there too. But all it has on there is ones in OK. And of course they have reviews turned off on facebook.

The ladies at Heights Finance in Joplin Missouri are AMAZING! They have ALWAYS been so friendly when I arrive...and genuinely care about my account. The services they provide are..professional...honest and non stressful. I highly recommend HEIGHTS FINANCE in Joplin Missouri to anyone needing financial aid..help..or assistance. That branch is a great place.
