My experience with the PsycheExplorer Internship was incredibly rewarding, both personally and professionally. The program was structured in a way that allowed me to dive deep into important mental health topics like suicide prevention, crisis planning, media misconceptions, and stakeholder involvement. I also had the opportunity to learn about Suicide Prevention First Responders Training and basic counselling skills, which gave me a solid foundation in responding to mental health crises with sensitivity and awareness.

One of the most unique aspects of this internship was the blend of theoretical learning and creative expression. I got to work on engaging projects like short-form educational reels, which helped me translate complex mental health topics into relatable, accessible content. The support from the supervisors, Aditi and Cindy Ma’am, was constant and encouraging—they were approachable, clear in their feedback, and genuinely committed to our growth.

The internship also included therapy sessions that added a reflective and experiential learning component. These sessions helped me understand the therapeutic process not just as a future practitioner, but also from a personal perspective.

Overall, PsycheExplorer does a great job of combining psychological education with hands-on learning in a supportive and innovative environment. I would highly recommend it to any psychology student looking to deepen their understanding and skills.

My experience at Heart It Out was enriching and insightful. I would rate it 4 out of 5 for the supportive environment, learning opportunities, and hands-on exposure. The creative tasks and real-world applications made the internship meaningful. With slight improvements in structure and feedback, it could be even better.

I have interned with them for the role of internship coordinator intern. I liked the overall experience. I found the entire team of Heart It Out to be really supportive.

My internship at Heart It Out was a great experience. I learned basic counselling skills, as well as gained knowledge in suicide prevention and aftercare, and first responder skills. I really enjoyed the workshops and the fun capsule sessions on weekends. This internship made me even more excited about pursuing a career in mental health.

When I first came across Heart It Out, i knew at once what they were doing was a great initiative. As a psychology student, I know the dire need for mental health services and the dearth of them. That’s when I knew, I had to apply! I interned at Heart It Out for a duration of 3 months, holding the post of a content writing intern. It was wonderful to say the least, the environment was very different and inclusive. I had the most amazing time with Brencia (Content Writing Head), with fellow interns and the other HR personnel who were helpful throughout the way. I recommend any internship opportunities with Heart It Out, they open up your network and mind, facilitating your personal and professional growth! Lots of love, signing off. ✨

I recently finished a three-month internship as a content writer at Heart It Out, I had a great experience there! My manager Brencia was  quite kind and encouraging, and the entire work environment was extremely nice,and flexible. Overall, my time as a content writer intern at Heart It Out was excellent, and I would suggest it to anybody who is interested in mental health. Thank you for a wonderful internship, Heart It Out!

I did an internship at Heart It Out and it was honestly the best. Not only did I learn about the field of internship but also learnt to work in a team. The team there was very nice and supportive!! I believe it because everyone working there has a better understanding of mental health that they created such a safe working environment. Super helpful internship program and a great team to work with!!

Heart It Out has a nice internship program beneficial for college students with an interest in Psychology. It can be very time-consuming but I consider it a good experience. Everyone in the company is very nice, understanding, and patient. True to their name and reputation, they take mental health very seriously and always take your state of mind into account before delegating work.
It's also just a nice mental health company in general. I've started going to therapy here and will continue to do so long after my internship ends.
