We recently took our son in for his chickenpox vaccine and had a very positive experience.

The internet system was down the week when we were trying to arrange an appointment, but the staff were extremely helpful and managed the booking process in store smoothly despite the issue.

The nurse was lovely—kind, patient, and reassuring throughout. Overall, it was a great experience, and we would definitely recommend this practice to others.

My wife and I had a private consultation with Caitlin at Superdrug, Bradford after our own GP practice said they couldn’t help. We’d recently booked a holiday to Gambia and were concerned about precautions to take, especially Yellow Fever.

We booked the appointment online however the day before the appointment Caitlin called us for some information as my wife has a pre-existing medical condition. It turns out there’s a severe interaction between the YF vaccination and the medication she’s on for her condition.

Caitlin went the extra mile doing research and checking with a doctor so we were well informed at the consultation. She was so empathetic, supportive and informative and despite our disappointment at the thought of having to cancel our holiday it was potentially lifesaving advice.

The travel agents were less helpful and Caitlin again were extra mile to provide us with an email outlining the advice and why it was recommended not to travel without the YF injection and why my wife could not have the vaccination.

Sophie, the nurse at Superdrug on Oxford street, was efficient and helpful. She explained the vaccination options and the recommended schedules and found something that worked for me. Thank you!

I’m extremely disappointed with my experience at Superdrug’s nurse clinics at both Bullring and Fort Dunlop Parkway.

On both occasions, the female nurses were unable to successfully take my blood. Across the two visits, I was pricked a total of 6 times (3 attempts each visit), which was not only painful but also very distressing. The entire experience felt unprofessional and left me extremely uncomfortable.

What made matters worse was that I had to keep rebooking appointments, resulting in multiple unnecessary trips—each time paying for a cab—only to leave without the procedure being completed. This has been a complete waste of both my time and money.

I expected a basic standard of clinical competence and patient care, but unfortunately, this experience fell far below expectations. I would strongly urge Superdrug to review the training and competency of staff providing these services, as well as how such situations are handled to avoid repeated inconvenience and discomfort for patients.

Excellent nurse with exact information to give us the correct medication for our travels. Felt very safe and confident.

We booked an appointment with jess in dover for my daughter to have the yellow fever vaccine. Jess was amazing, lots psych-education pitched for a teenager not just about yellow fever but all potential hazards. No complaints about the Vaccination, even 24 hrs later! The appointment didn't feel rushed and we had great experience.

The nurse was blunt, just read from a script and wasn’t interested about anything we said

Knowledgable and attentive staff. Helpful and made the consultation appointment and vaccinations feel easy and calm. Great communication via phone call as well.

Went to have my ears checked. Nurse who managed my appointment was very friendly, and explained the whole process. Very honestly told me I didn’t have an issue with my ears. I’m sure some places would have completed the treatment regardless for full payment. Was charged the minimum fee as per T & C which I was happy to pay. Would definitely use the service again if needed in the future.

Had a vaccination in store with nurse Cathy. Was being very helpful, patiently explained each available vaccination and the disease symptoms. Would recommend.

Absolutely brilliant service.from start to finish. Cathy Foo was brilliant. Explaining everything regarding my Ear Wax removal. Cathy made me feel at ease and in very good hands. I can't recommend Cathy & the clinic enough.

the first time ive been to have my ear cleaned out i was a bit nervous, but karen put me at ease as she went throught the process of the session and it all went smoothly. its made my hearing so much better, a bonus was how cheap it was.

Dorothy was great, we came in for our Hajj injection (Meningitis) and she eased my nerves & was very efficient and knowledgeable!

The doctor was very professional and efficient. She updated the type of my appointment to a vaccine one, gave me a MenACWY vaccine jab, and provided guidance on travelling.

The phlebotomist was polite, professional, gentle and very caring.

The nurse was extremely professional & knowledgeable in the field of travel medicine.
Her vaccine technique was perfect. I didn't feel a thing !
