personally know a guy who didn't order from hawkstone because he was scared to submit the id details.

It’s meant to be a quick and secure way to make sure customers meet the legal age to order alcohol, but we know it can feel a tad uncomfortable submitting personal details online - especially if it puts people off ordering altogether. We can assure you that personal details are handled securely and nothing is stored past the verification stage.

Ordering in France
The ordering and payment process was very easy and straightforward. Hawk stone is a great product and I would definitely purchase more of the same, however, I would strongly advise you to reconsider the courier company. My delivery took over 10days to arrive in France, only to be told it was damaged and would need to be re ordered.

That said, the delivery experience you’ve described isn’t ideal. Waiting over 10 days only to be told the order was damaged and needs reordering is understandably frustrating. If you find this happening, please feel free to pop us an email so we can chase it for you.
We do rely on courier partners to get orders to our customers, but feedback like this highlights where things clearly haven’t gone to plan. We’ll be feeding this back internally, as it’s not the experience we want for our customers — wherever they are.

Sorry to hear the lager wasn’t for you — “awful” is a strong word and not exactly what we aim for when we’re bottling the stuff. We’d like to think it’s more “sit in the sunshine and nod approvingly” than “where’s the nearest sink?”
That said, taste is a funny old game. Some people love it, some people… very much don’t and it sounds like you’ve landed firmly in the second camp.
On the price front, we know we’re not exactly pocket-change territory, so if it didn’t hit the spot *and* lighten the wallet, that’s a double whammy we’re sorry about.
Still, we appreciate you giving it a go — even if it ended in disappointment and an apology to Jeremy. He’ll recover. Probably.

Great beer made easy
I’d buy it anyway as its a bloody lovely beer, but being a Hawkstonian makes purchasing cheaper than the supermarket and delivered to your door, better still supports UK 🇬🇧 produce - it just makes total sense, enjoy.
