Having unsuccessfully tried several companies to find a food my young setter enjoyed eating and dealt with his gastrointestinal issues a friend recommended I try Happy dog sensitive.
The opportunity to try small quantities of the products both wet and dry was a godsend allowing me to try different flavours at minimum expense and waste.
He now looks forward to his Africa dry and he’s off all medication.
Delivery is quick and can be on subscription with a saving of 20% but it doesn’t tie you to the time set which can be changed as required.
Customer service is first class I thought I’d skipped a delivery but it arrived I told the delivery driver I thought I’d cancelled that month he simply took it back and my account was refunded within 24 hours.

My elderly dog had stopped eating her renal diet food so I was very concerned. I saw the reviews for Happy Dog so thought i would give it a try. She has never looked back and is now a happy bouncy 15 Yr old!

Great value for money, excellent communication and the delivery arrives when it says it will. I am using the Africa dog food for my staffy pup and she has gone from soft motions to firm within a day ( obviously the burns puppy food was the issue) I hope they never discontinue this as she is thriving on it and it's working out cheaper than the burns!

I've tried a few of their flavours over the last couple of years due to having a dog with allergies.
The new 'India' one is a huge hit, for the first time I have a food that both my dogs like - woohooo No more seperate meals.
Delivery is pretty quick and all in all the company is a pleasure to deal with.

Have found that my dogs don’t have anything like as much bother with allergies and itching since changing to Africa. Am very pleased. It is very speedy delivery too which is a bonus.

I've been ordering from Happy Dog for five years, but now I'm parting ways with them. When the company was choosing their turnover, they weren't pushy; their employees were reasonable. The canned food arrived in good condition. Now: 1. The cans in the glass are always opened/broken; This isn't a delivery issue, but a warehouse problem. Dogs can be poisoned by such canned food. 2. They've updated their website very "cleverly". Now, when you order, it automatically ticks "subscribe," and if you haven't seen it, they'll start delivering your products every month... But I'm not sure they don't resort to some gimmicks. They have 800g of canned beef, some kind of gray-black mass. I didn't order canned beef in my last order, but they delivered it, and it's listed on the delivery note. Magic!!I have to cancel my "subscription" every time I create my shopping cart. This month, I placed an order for £275, and two days later, they charged me another £204 and delivered it under... "Subscription." I spent £475 on shopping at HD without intending to. It feels very much like a scam and a scam. They deliver an additional order and explain it's a "subscription" you didn't select. But the operator insists you probably clicked it by accident, and it feels like you're being made to look like an idiot. I asked to cancel my "subscription" and return my order. The operator was told they were urgent and couldn't hear me! They promised to call back, but I couldn't figure out what year. One time, someone else delivered my order. It was a bag of dry food. I ignored the label and opened it. Their very cunning manager, Hugo, wrote to me and resolved the matter this way: They weren't at fault for the incorrect delivery, and they had already shipped my order, but they couldn't pick up the opened food, so I had to pay for two bags. When I asked why they sent me another bag, they said it was to avoid any confusion. Over the course of a year, they've been having some strange stories, all at the customer's expense. I've been getting a lot of annoying reminders—"Buy..." The dry food isn't the best quality. The dogs haven't been eating well. To sum it up, for the money I spend at H.Dog, I could find a decent alternative at specialty stores, choose unbroken canned food, and avoid the hassle of delivery and rudeness from operators who don't want to resolve issues or take responsibility for their actions. I don't recommend it!

I'm not really one for leaving reviews, but since moving to happy dog.. I now have a happy dog with happy guts. He's a 7 year old lab and had trouble with a sensitive stomach from a young age. Honestly, even hypoallergenic food disagrees with him. Since moving to sensitive africa, he's been so much better plus he genuinely loves the biscuits (but as a lab, there isnt much he won't try). Delivery is prompt and well communicated. Only wish is that there were discounts or loyalty benefits for regular customers.

My 2 dogs love these - my terrier was itchy and is on so many supplements but he's like a different dog and it is well worth digging deep for this food. The Game flavour tins are their faves!

I was introduced to Happy Dog by the breeder who I purchased my Cockapoo from.
Ella will be 9 in August and still loves her food I have varied it over the years she is now on Mini Africa with Ostrich .

Really pleased with the dog food we received . We buy adult dry food normally 2 at a time then we can alternate it so the dog doesn’t get fed up. The product always arrives on time and the deliver service is really good.

I have used happy dog food for over 20 years and have been friends with Hugo and his dad for just as long I've fed happy dog from a puppy to senior with a number of different breeds and never had any problems ever I even got a new puppy Norwich terrier which was feed on a different brand of food and I changed it the same day I got her because I believe if your moving from a good dog food to a lesser one for whatever reason it takes time for your dogs digestive system to readjust but I've found it can swap my puppy's onto happy dog right away as the food is made with all the good ingredients and is well looked after and if you need any more information just call them

After trying many different foods for our dog who has loads of allergies we found Happy dog Hypersensitivity which has stopped his upset tummies and loss of fur. He is now playing with his toys and fur is growing back.
