Update! Now a hat trick. Three confirmed shifts in 2 weeks - turned away every single time.
Absolutely appalled at the treatment my daughter has received from Hap. Two weekends running, turning up to confirmed shifts on the hottest days of the year only to be turned away by security staff or told they are ‘full.’ How are they allowed to treat people like that? Taking advantage of students and young people who can least afford to lose the shifts and receive no apology, follow up or compensation. Really disgraceful.

I’ve worked at HAP for years now…
I’ve worked at HAP for years now and I have been fortunate enough to work some very well known festivals and been able to grow within myself in this company. All though I have grown as a person , I do feel like it’s hard to grow in the company from barback/bartender to a role such as ops, supervisor etc . I also do feel like basic bar courtesy should be enforced in the teams such as ‘backs’ when drinks are items are being lifted around the bar . Although I appreciate staff being thrown in the deep end to learn how to use the tills or serve drinks but individuals need a demonstration as I’ve seen many first time workers struggle without any guidance.
Staff are rude
Staff are rude, shifts get cancelled or hours reduced, bar managers always try to send you home and are extremely entitled. They leave you outside in the sun waiting for hours and don’t pay you until you’ve signed on to a bar (which has been as much over an hour later than the intended start time despite getting there half an hour early).
A girl got heatstroke waiting to sign on at the tent today because hap took too long to sign people in (again one hour late), hap staff wouldn’t even give the poor girl water, it was other agency members (the people who would work on the bar alongside this girl) that gave her water and a fan.
Only reason I give them 2 stars instead of 1 is because it’s quick to get accepted

Respectful company
Very professional, attentive and personalised service to individual staff member. It’s my third year in a row working for hap solutions as a bartender or bar manager.
I’ve worked for Hap for a few years and…
I’ve worked for Hap for a few years and they’ve been sound. Last year there was a problem in on the waterfront- getting watched by a 2ft cockney muppet - who clearly had a problem with scousers. I let a few things slide but on the last day I approached him and he didn’t like it. I got walked off site! Hap decided to disable my account without even asking me wat happened - so we was emailing back and fourth - I give them my version - anyway they ended up apologising and reopened my account!
Fast forward to this years on the waterfront and the same muppet was there again - he seen me and sed he didn’t want me there - so instead of arguing I literally walked out - one of the CHILD managers there told me to email hap - which I did. Monday I received an email saying - MY ACTIONS WAS UNACCEPTABLE AND YOUR ACCOUNT HAD BEEN DISABLED!!
So once again they listen to someone else without asking wat happened!! Absolute JOKES!!

Hapless organisation staffed by kids
Hapless organisation staffed by kids, employing kids. A good way to work at events in clubs where you can rave and get paid using extended toilet breaks. Bar back is the easiest role. Just carry blue loo roll to make it looks like you are busy🤣
Managers are poor
HAP are popular and some senior on site staff are really nice and helpful, others have a misplaced sense of self- importance and treat staff as scum. Depends who you get to be fair. The positive vibes appear to come from students who throw themselves into festival season and enjoy working with friends. My vibes come from many years of working and not having rose tinted goggles. Policies are there for a reason, I’ve seen staff taking accepting tips, stealing money, serving girls free drinks, being lazy and avoiding work … I have been on the management side and as referenced, staff in a roving role can have a very disappointing attitude and are in it for personal gain via free drinks, looking after mates, picking up girls and not applying stated policies and getting rid of thieving staff. Speaking up doesn’t help and come off worse for it. So nice thought but mid-level on site staff are definitely in it for themselves. I’d return if things were different but don’t envisage that happening. Don’t forget, HAP supply staff, the alcohol sales are for a customer, HAP staff are effectively stealing from those customers, which is dodgy.

Great company that I have worked for now for several years, I have a full time permanent job but work extra shifts with hap when it suits me and love the festival season especially, well organised and all round good experience!
