Excellent resources for my Gr. 8/9 complementary courses!!!

We have yet to get through the lap book, so I am unable to remark on the quality or usefulness of the curriculum. I was Thankful to find a sort of curriculums on Idaho state history that looked good, but the three stars I gave were directly related to the fact that the communication with these people is horrendous. I reached out to both of the emails I could find and no one ever got back to me. I try to find a phone number so that I could call someone with questions and there wasn’t one. Before I ordered the curriculums I saw great reviews about the curriculums, but I also saw plenty of people who were frustrated with the lack of communication. I hope that this is something that can be changed for the sake of these people because it is going to be hard for me to want to deal with that again.

I love the lapbooks, they are very creative and versatile. All information you need is included in the pack. I just wish the packs were a bit cheaper.

Having just recently as a private school teacher, last fall I found myself homeschooling a few young students. In my search for appropriate curriculum, I was thrilled to find HandsofaChild. We used a few lapbooks last year, and I have purchased a couple more to use this year. While we primarily uses them just the way they were designed to be, this year we have more experience with them, and I was able to find out that the 5th grader is feeling like she is ready to move on to taking notes, so we will be adapting the packets for use that way. However, the materials are so good, as well as inexpensive, that we are able to simply use them in that way as a stepping stone to taking notes independently. They will provide a wonderful resource for the information, as well as a guide for what types of information should be taken down in note form. I am very pleased to continue using the site for the range of elementary students, and would highly recommend them.

I like the lapbook, but I sent an email to the email address provided on the website about some other materials I want to order, but I never received a response. This was several weeks ago. Still no response.

I am very unsatisfied. I spent money on a purchase I never received and after multiple attempts to contact customer service I am still without any communications from this company at all. Total waste of money and I am wondering if the whole website is a scam.

I am a new customer and I made my first purchase two days ago. I created my account online and I could see my order. My credit card was charged but it states on my profile it's processing, when I know the charge was paid. I am unable to download the Ebook I ordered for my students. No one has communicated with me when I sent emails inquiring about my purchase as the download states the file does not exist. My order number is: 100035088. I really would like an update as this is my first time using the site and I'm hoping it's not a scam at this point.

I have done dozens of lap books that I purchased from Hands of a Child. They can be adapted for multiple grades. Easy to follow instructions. Great prices. Lots of subjects to choose from. The kids really enjoy them. Really a fun way to learn.

Love these lap books! I have multiple children that do the same book during the lesson so I found the pdf version my helpful. That way I can reprint copies of one makes a mistake or make the colors different for each stupid. So far my boys love these. It has made our lessons fun.

I have used their products several times. The quality, easy to follow directions, suitable for multi age kids, and the different suggestions of books/media. I had a problem with ordering one time and they where there answering my questions and help with a solution that still got me my products.

I have contacted this company with no return response. Downloadable but no way to transfer to a student when ordered by a school. When contacted they did not respond to either email direct to Nicole nor the service help email

Great content, I just felt the accompanying art work was a little dated

I ordered from your site and can't get my download. I click to try to register, says I am registered, I guess at checkout. I try to reset my password and it just rerouts me to their main page. So frustrating. I threw away my money here.

Our family has been using this wonderful company for at least 10 years. I am never disappointed. Great product, prices and customer service. Highly recommend.

Good resources and the kids like it very much

The rocks lapbook was VERY vocab heavy with little to no hands on activities suggested. I feel it was a good start but in today's competitive market, needs more. Too much vocab for a k-1 child who I bought it for.

BUYER BEWARE! Was sent incorrect Lap book print outs (corral reef instead of dog breeds). Tried for almost 2 weeks to contact someone to send me the correct ones. No RESPONSE. We would like to try this new curricula but it is incomplete. Tried and tried to get a hold of the company but nothing. All we want is the correct print outs sent to us. Would not buy from this company again due to the lack of customer service.

I ordered the 7-12 grades but the information seems to be for a younger group.
