Halo renewables came recommended from a family member and after comparing their quotes against others, I found them to be very competitive and gave me good advice on what to buy and not to buy. Based on what my family member told me to get, halo could have easily sold me things I didn’t really need but explained to me why it wouldn’t be worth it for me.

The service provided by Halo from the survey with Guy through to the installation from Matt, Ashton, Brad, and Tomasz was first class.
The price quoted was better than any of the 3 other companies I’d also engaged and the system designed by Halo was of a better specification.
We have 20 x 485w Aiko gen 3 panels, a Sigenergy 8kW inverter, 2 x 10kWh Sigenergy batteries, coupled with a Sigenergy 7kW car charger. They even removed my chimney and repaired and retiled my roof, before fitting the panels, when my previous arrangements fell thorough.
They arrived on site at 08:30 and left after the system commissioning at 14:50, same day; amazing!
I am very happy with the results as the system is delivering better than I expected, looks great, and I have the confidence that Halo will be there should I need any help.
I’d urge you to include Halo Renewables in your considerations if you are thinking of a solar and battery system, you’ll be happy you did!

I was looking for an extra battery on my Sig energy system, and Halo were highly recommended. I contacted Matt and received a swift response and a very competitive quote, and I accepted it. A couple of weeks later I had a call to say it could be fitted the next day which was sooner than I expected, the next morning Luke was at the door at half past nine, impressive since they are based four hours from my home. Luke was great, friendly, helpful and informative, and just half an hour later the battery had been added and was working as expected, a really simple and easy process, I am very happy I chose Halo and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them, thank you.

I couldn’t be happier with Halo Renewables from start to finish. The installation quality has been excellent and the team were professional, tidy and clearly took pride in their work.

What really stood out was the customer service. No question was ever too much trouble, and every query I had was answered quickly, even outside normal working hours. As someone who likes to understand how everything works, I asked plenty of questions about the Sigenergy system, battery, solar array and settings, and they were always happy to help.

The system has exceeded my expectations. My 18.9 kWp AIKO solar array and Sigenergy battery have been performing brilliantly, and everything was commissioned and explained properly.

My brother had a solar and battery system installed by Halo Renewables back in April, and after seeing his system and hearing how pleased he was with both the installation and the service, I decided to get in touch with Matt.

From the start, Matt was great to deal with. He provided a quick quotation, never tried to oversell anything, and gave honest advice about what would work best for my property, especially with the different roof angles.

The only delay was with the local authority taking much longer than expected to approve the installation, but Halo kept on top of it and continued chasing things until everything was approved. As soon as that happened, an installation date was arranged very quickly.

The installation team arrived early, worked efficiently throughout the day, and were friendly and professional from start to finish. Before they left, they took the time to explain how the system worked and made sure I was comfortable using it.

Excellent service from start to finish. From the first interaction was just information gathering and no hard sell (I think the product sells itself). All the way through to today when system was fitted. Neat job, lads were great arrived promptly in the morning, grafted hard to get the install done, cleaned up and handed over the system and the App clearly. Great job.

Halo installed a Sigenergy and flat roof Aiko system for us in June and I rate them highly. They were very quick in providing a quote and doing the survey, Matt listened carefully to my requirements and they were efficient with the paperwork. It was installed 10 weeks after agreement, which seemed quite reasonable, given that it is such a busy time for the industry, and they turned up exactly when scheduled. Tomas and his team, and electricians Bradley and Tommy were very pleasant, and got the job done in a remarkable 3 1/2 hours (admittedly a relatively easy job with no scaffolding and no difficult cable runs). The hand over was good, and the system has worked perfectly since installation. I have not had any problems or queries since, so can’t comment on the quality of any follow up service.
I do think they benefit from focusing on the Sigenergy system, with which they are obviously very familiar.
This installation was part of a two phase plan, and I intend to use Halo for the second part as well.

After obtaining several solar quotes, I chose Halo Renewables to install a system comprising 32 Aiko Neostar 2S 465W panels, a Sigenergy 8kW inverter, 18kWh of battery storage, and a Gateway. The system was designed specifically around our relatively energy-hungry household, which includes two EVs, a heat pump, and a family that seems determined to keep the National Grid on its toes.

From the initial consultation through to commissioning, the entire experience was professional, straightforward, and refreshingly free from any hard sell. Halo took the time to understand our energy usage and future requirements, designing a system that genuinely suited our needs rather than simply recommending the largest or most expensive option.

The installation team were excellent throughout. The panel layout is neat, symmetrical, and aesthetically pleasing, while the battery installation is incredibly tidy and professionally finished. They worked efficiently, minimised disruption, and left everything clean and organised once the job was complete.

What really set Halo apart was their technical expertise. Compared with some of the larger national providers I spoke to, their knowledge, attention to detail, and willingness to explain the design gave me real confidence that the system had been carefully engineered around our requirements rather than assembled from a standard template.

Since commissioning, it's been genuinely satisfying watching the house run on its own solar generation. There is also something surprisingly addictive about checking the app and seeing household demand fully covered by solar production, surplus energy exported to the grid during the day, and the batteries seamlessly powering the house through the evening peak tariff periods after sunset. I never expected electricity to become a hobby, but here we are!

The quality of the equipment is excellent, the installation looks fantastic, and, most importantly, the system has been designed to maximise value based on our usage patterns. Given our consumption levels, I am confident the investment will pay for itself in around five years.

We had our solar system installed by Halo Renewables Ltd on 15th June.

In the end I had about 11 quotes from different companies which may seem like a lot but once you’re on the FB they just keep popping up !

They were far from the cheapest quote I received by at least £2k and for me it was never about getting the ‘best/cheapest’ cost anyway.

I wanted a company that I felt confident in and comfortable with, they are after all working on my home that is undoubtedly the most expensive purchase I will ever make.

The communication was first class, either by WhatsApp, email or on the telephone it was always prompt and informative with no pressure to buy.

For that I have to especially thank Ashton whose patience and knowledge helped me in making the final decision and gave me what I feel was a good price.
 and a price I was happy to pay.

When we had made our choice the surveyors visit was arranged in order to prepare a finalised, detailed proposal and quote, and Guy Jackson’s professionalism (the surveyor) again ensured that we felt confident in our choice of supplier.


If ever we had a question, Ashton (and sometimes Matt) would respond almost immediately every time. This was also very refreshing and went a long way towards making the project feel more personal and as important to the Halo team as it was to us!



The installation crew were great, very polite, affable, well mannered and well spoken. They worked very hard non stop and cleaned up after themselves. There was no mess, dust/ debris, no rubbish was left on site.


It took just about six hours to fit the complete system. This included 17 panels, two batteries and the inverter and it’s such a good looking piece of kit !



Once installed, they demonstrated the 'MySigen' app. It seems simple and intuitive and the demo was concise and informative.


Like most people, we (I) are finding that the app is quite addictive but so much better than doom scrolling. 

We will be on our feed in tariff before long but so far I’m loving the whole experience.
