VERY UNHAPPY WITH THIS HAVE HAD TO GO TO THE BUTCHERS MYSELF BECAUSE DICED CHICKEN WAS UNDERWEIGHT, TO CUT A WHOLE CHICKEN WHICH WAS SUPPOSED TO STAY WHOLE NOT DICED, ONLY TO BE TOLD CHICKEN IS GONE OFF. BEST BEFORE DATES ARE COMPLETELY WRONG. THATS A WHOLE CHICKEN IN THE BIN.

It wasn’t our intention to disappoint you.
in reference to your first point, unfortunately the box been damaged is due to transportation and we will make sure to speak to our courier service regarding this matter.
In reference to the ICE Packs not been cold, I can reassure you the packs we use are food safe and have a shelf life of 48 hours. From our shipping record the produce took 14 hours to get to you so it should have been good.
The weights were incorrect as you are right, however we have refunded you the amount last week as requested and explained why this happened.
In reference to point four, we dice the chicken one way for all customers unless they specifically specify. As a gesture of good will without any charge you changed you order from whole chicken to diced last minute so we had to accommodate for this quickly to meet your needs.
Finally, we never give incorrect best before dates, I can only say this was an isolated incident and can only apologise.
We’d greatly appreciate the opportunity to make things right and therefore would like to speak to you to resolve this matter to your satisfaction.

I wanted to try the 3 types of protein Halal Origins provide before writing an honest review - I know it is hard to find a QUALITY, halal & organic butcher. Since this company is fairly new and didn't have many reviews, I was reluctant to purchase (another reason I have chosen to write a detailed review).
Before making my initial purchase, I called the customer service line to have a few of my questions answered: Where is the meat sourced from? Is the chicken HMC certified? Why do you not have a hygiene rating online?
Ayman kindly and confidently answered all my questions and reassured me before ending the call.
I believe the company is still waiting for the council to assess the grounds, but from my personal experience, the meat I received seemed a lot cleaner than many other places I have previously bought meat from.
The meat is packaged in vacuum-packed bags so is easy to wipe down/wash. I even left a note for the butcher to double-check the seals for me and he kindly did.
1. The chicken is flavoursome and does not have that "2-day-old chicken" smell when left for the next day.
2. The lamb shoulder I ordered was not as soft and flavoursome as the meat I usually purchase from my local butcher (which is not organic) and the fat had been trimmed off a little too much for my liking. However, again, packaged really well. I even left an order note and requested the bone was also sent to me so I could make a broth.
3. The grass-fed beef strips I ordered were absolutely delicious.
My recommendation would be to start with a small order (the shipping cost is reasonable).
