Super fast answer
Super fast answer. Very kind and polite. Amazing!p
I loved the honesty in feedback
I loved the honesty in feedback I received. Music is subjective but I always embrace criticism as a chance to improve in my music. It really shows that whomever listened to my submissions, was listening intensively and was focused on giving a very truthful review.
I will remember the advice given when creating future projects.
I will definitely use this service again and would recommend 100%.
Thank you
Playlist submissions
Got two of my songs placed in real playlists. No bots, which is the key. Will be sending more tracks, defo recommend🙏🏼

This company made it really easy to upload my music and get it on a playlist. I’m really appreciative
Grease Release gives great feedback
Grease Release gives great feedback to the songs you submit even if all of the aren't accepted. I've sent many songs to them and they have always added at least one to their playlists.
Did what they said.
Did what they said.
The company provided feedback on the songs they did not choose to playlist and kept to their turnaround time of 7 days. I'm grateful
Always love the service
Always love the service. Keep it up guys 💯
Great service!!!
Quick response and got added to their playlist. It's just been a few days so we'll see how long they'll actually keep the song but this has been a great experience so far!
Single Indie-Pop Song Submittion
I usually make positive reviews, but I'm sorry, from my current experience GreaseRelease are currently not worth it.
And in summary - I expected more.
In details:
1. I submitted a song for a review + curating it to playlists.
2. It costs 17$ per submittion (which is ok comparing to other services)
3. They did give a detailed review of Some level, but it was just a written unorganized email, I would expect for that price they would send a detailed review organized by sections... there's huge amount of templates online for it.. I don't know..
- It does seem they have professional musical knowledge though.
4. My personal feeling from the experience - C'mon... I paid 17$ (!)
and I honestly felt like they gave me a review just a bit longer than reviews I got from other curators in SubmitHub/Groover for 1$-4$ .
- They didn't add my song to even 1 playlist!
- For *17$* ?!
5. Their negative sides were "The melodies after that and the guitars sounded a little untogether and not in sync here. If the track was better mixed, then it could have been taken to another level" - are you kidding me? I mean really? I don't know how you even decided guitars are not in sync, use a metronome. Try and measure it, I challenge you.
And by the way, I didn't mix it but the mixing process is the best one I ever heard in my long years in music.
This is a world-class song, which by the way, already has some recognition around the world, including radio stations, and already placed in almost 100 playlists! (most without even promoting it!) - and somehow, it doesn't deserve the most minimal playlist placement just out of respect from GreaseRelease for 17$.
I will let you, the reader, feel free to listen to the song here, this, according to GreaseRelease is a "bad mix" - search for "Benji Shohet - Greater" in Spotify or YouTube etc.
I would be really happy to change my review here.
Will contact GreaseRelease and will update :)

Thank you for appreciating good music. D4n g3mini
Not worth it.
My song did not get placed although I have placed it on 8 playlists through Submithub two weeks before release date. The critique of the song was not helpful, and full of inaccuracies. They were trying to sound like experts giving precise criticism and what was wrong with the song in minute detail, but none of what they said was true or relevant. $17 for a rejection and a thorough but incorrect critique? I could have done better with Submithub for $2. Not worth it.

Kinda felt like a scam
Kinda felt like a scam. I feel like they use that 17$ Fee as a way to basically charge you money for playlisting but in reality I did some research and we are basically funding a musician named Tushar mathur. He basically is collecting money and probably not even reviewing peoples music. I don’t mind the 17$ but just wanted to give other fellow musicians a heads up.

GreaseRelease are serious professionals, really checking your tracks, evaluating them thoroughly and (!) giving very detailed description! I was amazed by their exact definitions!
GreaseRelease are serious professionals, really checking your tracks, evaluating them thoroughly and (!) giving very detailed description! I was amazed by the definitions they used to evaluate my music tracks: "track is a bit stagnant and monotonous...doesn't hold the listener's interest for the entirety of the play time… , hook here was somewhat underdeveloped … , track was missing an enthusiastic vocal performance, which really seals the deal… , unnecessarily slow for the nature of the track… , dynamics were quite stagnant … , crests and troughs through the progression of the track… , immersive listening experience… , lacking an out-right melodic hook that is exciting and memorable enough to keep the listener interested…. , transitions were quite abrupt and pulled us out of the listening experience … , lyrics need more depth and substance which we didn't really find here." Well, the guys know the business! This has been a first professional review of my music, and I can't agree more! Nobody teaches you about "hooks" and "immersive listening experience…"! Music is really subjective matter, but these guys know the business and give a great advice. They accepted some of my tracks, while helped correct the rest! Thanks & kind regards from SF.DM.
The perfect playlist for my songs
Greaserelease has found the perfect playlist for two of my songs, it's awesome!
Great Experience
Great Experience! These guys are always super honest and really great at what they do!
They're fine. But I suggest skipping unless you don't care about money.
I was hesitant to try this for a while, but took the plunge. Their outreach campaigns were convincing; in retrospect, my misgivings were well-placed.
Going to agree with other reviewers here – there are better places to spend money to get your tracks under consideration for playlisting - Submithub, for instance. At least then it's only a few dollars per playlister consideration.
Paying $17 only to have them gatekeep taste (when perhaps you have a song that’s gotten decent traction via ads or whatever) is a bit of a waste of money, and isn’t how they sell their service. It would be useful to understand the rejection/acceptance stats or at least what genres they tend to accept, things like that. Fundamentally: in my opinion, if they aren’t going to playlist you, they should probably return your money. We aren't paying them to give us their opinion of our music, even if that is an implicit part of the process.
I'd suggest going to a more reputable playlisting and PR company that only charges you if//when they choose to work with you. (And no that’s not payola). Run ads. Do your own thing. Seems like this place is only useful for artists that probably don’t need it.
Overall: they’re fine. They probably have certain genres they focus on and most others that they don't, though it's hard to tell from how they position themselves. And I do believe they are a legitimate service; they’re probably honest and cool. But you probably don’t need it.
My experience with Grease Release had…
My experience with Grease Release had been a blessing. If the song isn't good enough to be playlisted you will usually be informed of how to fix it and once playlisted watch the streams come in. They are fast on the reply and the results will meet or exceed your expectations.
Great communication and sincere…
Great communication and sincere playlisting, would recommend to any artist with music at a certain level
Gotcha
After being turned down twice last year, I thought i give'em a last chance, also I really wanted to be sure if its real or fake. So I took a song that I released last summer that made already 300k+ streams on spotify alone. You could say, its my most "mainstream" song, that has been listed on about 500+ playlists already. Surprise, surprise: they have turned it down and used the same "review" I got from them before. Gotcha!
Sorry to say, but the only thing I can recommend to my fellow artists, is to block their email.
