My Magnolia Genie arrived packaged amazingly well! It was healthy, in flower and just better than my expectations. Will definitely choose Grasslands Nursery again to buy my plants, I'm already trying to pick my next purchase :)

Would never buy from this garden centre again.What they show on their website isn't what you get.Also,they will give any excuse not to compensate for the smaller trees which l received.Be careful ordering from this nursery.

Great selection of plants, lovely cafe and fantastic staff in all areas. A special shout out to the lady who was managing the plant sales, nothing was too much and we needed a lot of support - thank you for being so kind and patient ❤️

Excellent quality of plants and prompt delivery

Very helpful staff, knowledgeable, quick delivery and excellent quality of plants. My Portuguese laurel were delivered promptly, they are lush and healthy, and have made a fantastic instant screen in our garden.

Plants arrived in good condition and on time.

All the plants that I bought were as advertised in size and quality. The delivery driver was so helpful even helping me to take a fence panel out to deliver into my back garden. Still planting !

Ordered on 26th March 2026 and by the 8th April my order still hasn't been dispatched. If you don't mind waiting over a fortnight for your order to even make it into a box then go for it. I'm bored of waiting and have already chased this up with an email. I can't comment on the quality of the plants because I've not received them. In these times of next day delivery this is ridiculous.

I bought a multi-stemmed wild cherry tree and was very disappointed with the small size of the tree when it arrived. The dimensions of the tree that were specified on the website were broadly accurate, but the photographs were very misleading. For this tree and many others that are sold, the accompanying photo shows someone standing next to a much larger specimen. It would have been very helpful if Grasslands had photos that are more representative of what you are going to receive.

Easy ordering and quality plants. Beautiful and healthy Boxball and lovely Tiarella. Very securely packed to avoid any damage in transit. Will order again.

I wanted to buy a magnolia with a compact habit and scented flowers as a birthday gift. I wasn't disappointed. The magnolia stellata came in sturdy packaging, so it was undamaged. It was a very healthy-looking specimen. Customer service was also great (I was worried it wouldn't arrive on time, as delivery can take up to 7 days, but was advised that they would ensure swift dispatch and the plant arrived within three days). First time online buyer at Grasslands and very impressed.

Great plants, great price and delivered professionally.

Needed passion flower plants for arches in my new garden. Grasslands had some nice looking plants for a very reasonable price, and I ordered two. Delivery came in very good time, and the plants were perfectly packaged - still damp at the roots despite the distance. I've transplanted them, which means pretty much having to relax and wait for them to take, but all indications are good and I'm eagerly awaiting the end of spring, when they ought to begin their growth spurt. Very pleased with the purchase and glad to have bought from a family business. They offer excellent advice from a very informative site. The quality of support on offer is priceless - especially to a newbie like me.

Ordered a large Choisya Ternata Sundance shrub (10 litre size) and the plant that came looked lovely and very healthy. It was very well packed too.

I received a message from Royal Mail saying they couldn’t send my plants because the address was wrong. I used Grasslands website and paid by Apple Pay which has my correct shipping address but their customer services are trying to tell me I’ve given them the wrong address. The address they had wasn’t even a complete one and it looks like the mobile prefix 44 field had overwritten the first line of my address. They are now saying I have to pay again for postage! And on top of that when I first queried where my order was they sent me a random photo of some trees outside a house which wasn’t mine. I didn’t even order trees! They then sent a phone message saying I should call Royal Mail and sort it out myself! If it wasn’t such shocking customer service it would almost be laughable.

Good service and the plants were well packaged with no damage.

Good value plants arrived in good condition. Planted now and waiting for them to grow to maturity. Arrived quickly.

good quality - timely delivery

We visited the nursery in person as we wanted to choose our plants, especially as they were statement plants (bonsai topiary and dwarf conifers). They have such a huge choice, all fantastic quality plants.
The staff are really helpful and very organised (good system for tagging the plants we wanted). If they dont have a plant in the nursery they can check if its available via their online system (as was the case with our glauca). The guys were knowledgeable about what would work in our garden in respect of size of plant and our aspect/soil type.
We paid and were told they would deliver for free within 5-10 working days however the plants came 4 days later via their own tracked delivery team.
We've used Grasslands many times and have recommended to friends. If you want quality plants without being ripped off there is only one place to visit.
