US Wellness Meats loves Beef Tallow because of its diversity. It can be used to cook or fry. It can also be added to vegetables or ground beef to increase flavor. Nutrition Pastry Chefs love Beef Tallow for baking savory dishes. You can also use Beef Tallow to make your own pemmican, candles, or soap. The large (5 gallon) bucket is ready for commercial or home use. Food buying groups, restaurants, gyms, and soap makers may benefit by purchasing this larger size (5 gallon) bucket of Beef Tallow. It has not been bleached, deodorized, hydrogenated, or altered. Discover the health benefits of cooking with omega 3 and CLA-rich grass-fed tallow! US Wellness Meats’ Beef Tallow (sometimes known as lard) uses a propriety blend of rendered beef suet and beef fats. It is naturally pure white to light yellow in color and has omega 6:3 ratios which are similar to fish. When comparing fats for cooking and consumption, remember; all fats are not created equal. Conjugated Linoleic Acid or (CLA) is an omega-6 fatty acid (naturally occurring trans fat) found primarily in Beef and Dairy. Studies have shown these fats may provide a whole host of health benefits. These are very different from the trans fats found in manufactured hydrogenated vegetable oils which have been linked to inflammation and obesity. The reason why grass-fed is important in this regard is because the amounts of CLA present depends significantly on what the animals eat. By most estimates, grass-fed and grass-finished beef and dairy can be 300-500% richer in CLA than grain-fed animals. Each 5 Gallon Bucket of Beef Tallow averages 36 pounds. If you would like more information on rendering, usages, and storage of Beef Tallow, read US Wellness Meats’ Tallow Blog Page. All of US Wellness Meats’ beef products are 100% grass-fed and grass-finished. Shipping: Beef Tallow (5 gallon bucket) ships separately from frozen items. It is shipped via FedEx Ground Service and delivery is expected within 3-7 days. NOTE: We no longer ship 5-Gallon Tallow Buckets to Alaska, Hawaii, or Puerto Rico due to extremely high shipping costs. Discounts including promotional codes are not valid on 5-Gallon Tallow Buckets

I'm over all happy. Price of course is a little ouchie, but such is the case with procuring clean healthy products these days if you don't want to be a slave to the mainstream hoax diets pushed by the people that want to depopulate the earth. I spend less doing this than I would if I had to see drs. constantly on the mainstream commercial diet items they have pushed on us for decades now. So no major gripe and will buy again. French fries taste way better in tallow. Say no to seed oils!

The tallow was made from the trimmings not the hard suet. I've tried rendering it over 5 times to get it a little harder and to lighten the beefy smell. No luck. Couple have asked if the tallow was rancid. Very sad that this isn't working for my intended purpose (making whipped tallow).

I've already purchased 3 buckets since this tallow bucket has been offered. Taste is amazing. Tallow is as golden as butter. We use it for all our cooking needs, as an additive to our dog food, and makes a great moisturizer.
