We ordered on Thursday and it arrived on Monday fantastic service and corespondent great company.

I was searching for lightweight awning and found Sunncamp air260 competitively priced on Granthams.
Ordered and got additional 5% discount!
Goods arrived within 48hrs. Couldn’t ask for more!!

We went to Grantham caravans open day Saturday 5th September 26 and have to say how disappointed we were in the their service. We arrived and there were loads of staff around and not one said good afternoon or welcome. We went their to PX our caravan for the 27 season and was left wondering in and out of the caravans with no sight of a sales person. Then I asked a member of staff where the drinks were as it was a open day and expected that there would be some complimentary drinks. He said " sorry we don't have any but l can try and get you a glass of water". He came back with a glass of water and walked away. I will say that we went into the awning section and Joe was an absolute professional he greeted us with a smile and when l told him about the drinks he was confused as they had set up cold drinks and coffee for customers if wanted.

I'm writing this review to give customer feedback and secondly to say that I will never go back into this establishment again. They were totally unprofessional and made me and my wife feel that we were second-class citizens that could not afford a caravan. I will be spending £40,000 elsewhere.

What I wanted was in stock ( stickers for cover screws )
Only problem is the postage cost of nearly £6 to post 20 dot stickers.
Seems a money making racket to me and just a means of profiteering.
Postage should be per item cost they send.

Extremely disappointed with the service I received today, and the way I was made to feel.
I attended the Coachman open day as an invited guest, and was completely ignored upon arrival. I am 44 years old and attended with my wife and small child. It was very clear that I fit the younger demographic of people that were in attendance. All these individuals were being well looked after by the sales team.

I continued to look around the vast range of caravans, and got a poor overall impression of Grantham caravans. This opinion was soon supported with our eventual interaction with a member of the sales team.

I informed them that I had recently put a deposit down on a £35,000 brand new Swift caravan and I had attended with an open mind of potentially spending more if I felt coachman was a step up on what I had already ordered.

It was at this point I was totally shocked by their response . I was told that being there the caravans did not target the younger market. This was down to the interior design, but more importantly it was down to the high price bracket. The sales person inadvertently suggested that the caravans I was looking at would not be in my price bracket. He referenced the Swift as a cheaper option, and made a comparison to it not being a Ferrari compared to the coachman and what they were selling.
I informed him that I was wishing to view a specific caravan, and he informed me that they had one on site but it was sold. I respectfully requested if we could look in to the caravan, or even maybe open the door and look inside. He then changed his approach and told me there was not one on site. If there was then he still wouldn’t let me look. He then suggested that if I was affording to pay high amounts of money on a caravan, I would not like people looking at it would I ?

I was made to feel that I was not a genuine purchaser, when in fact I would have been a cash buyer.

It left a very bad feeling about Grantham Caravans and it certainly won’t be a business I recommend, or attend personally in the future.

Clear description of the part, reasonable price and delivery in line with expectations

Very Good service from Grantham's. Easy to use web site and ordering. Have used them before and will do again. But let down by DHL delivery 2 days late. They DHL said it should be delivered 2nd sept. My parts arrived at 3.30pm on the 4th sept. No information from DHL after they said it was delayed. (DHL Very Poor)

Excellent service.
Ordered a number of accessories, one was on back order but I was kept fully informed of expected delivery dates. I actually received all the items ahead of the expected date.
All products ordered are great quality.
Prices are competitive.

⭐ 1/5 – Very disappointing after-sales experience

Unfortunately, my experience with Grantham Caravans after purchasing our caravan has been extremely disappointing.

When you purchase a caravan, particularly when additional equipment such as a brand-new motor mover has been fitted, you expect everything to have been properly installed, checked and working before collection. Instead, once we had taken the caravan back to storage in Lincoln, we discovered a fault with the newly installed motor mover.

After investigating the problem, including speaking with Grantham Caravans by phone, it became apparent that there was an issue with the red isolation key/connection. Power would only work when the connection was physically touched or moved. This is not something I would expect to be dealing with immediately after collection, particularly with newly fitted equipment.

What has made the situation considerably worse is the after-sales service. I have already reported the problem and am STILL waiting for the after-sales team to contact me to arrange the repair.

I should not have to continually chase a dealership to rectify a fault that was present from the outset. On top of that, I now face the inconvenience and cost of towing the caravan back from Lincoln to Grantham for an issue that should have been identified before the caravan was handed over.

Buying a caravan is a significant purchase, and good customer service should not end once the sale has been completed. Problems can happen, but how a business responds to those problems is what matters. At the moment, the lack of communication and urgency from the after-sales team has left me with very little confidence in the service provided.

I will update this review if and when Grantham Caravans contacts me and resolves the issue, but based on my experience so far, the after-sales service has been extremely poor.

Had an emergency need for a replacement part. Grantham's price was the best I found and speed of service was excellent.

Bought a new caravan 2 weeks ago.
Salesman went through the process of purchase which included them sending a video of the van after the PDI a few days before collection, but we only got this on the morning of collection.
I asked if the roof could be clean when I ordered, it wasn't.
I also mentioned about the surface scratches on the windows. Salesman said if I was handy with a machine polisher I could get them out.
I spent 2 days cleaning the roof, removing the scratches from the windows. This should have been done by the dealer.
After getting home with the caravan we found there was no lid on the toilet cassette, magnetic door catch is breaking up and there is a small dent.
Contacted salesman he wasn't really interested and passed me on to after sales, which works on email basis. Emailed them twice beginning of last week and not heard anything since.
So couldn't recommend these.
Mind you from our experience we haven't found a caravan dealer yet that is worth recommending.

Delivered on time and service was excellent. Received the package in order and no damage.

⭐ Grantham’s Caravans A Disappointing Experience After a Promising Start

We purchased our first caravan at Grantham’s Caravans during their summer sales event. Initially, the experience was positive we were looked after by a very pleasant salesman, and we left feeling excited about our new purchase.

Unfortunately, once our £3,000 deposit was taken, everything changed.

🚫 Car Park Damage & No Support Despite CCTV

My husband’s car was damaged in their car park. Grantham’s confirmed they had CCTV covering the area, yet they were unwilling to assist in identifying the individual responsible. This could have been dealt with by the police and our insurance, but instead we were met with complete refusal to help.

⏳ Three Weeks of Poor Communication

We were then left waiting over three weeks with little to no communication about when our caravan would be ready for collection. We knew some work was required, but no timeline was ever provided. We repeatedly asked for evidence that the required work had been completed nothing was forthcoming.

❗ Owner’s Dismissive Attitude

Eventually, we went to the premises to speak directly with the owner due to the lack of updates, evidence, and activity. Rather than addressing our concerns, he immediately offered to refund our £3,000 deposit without acknowledging any responsibility for the delays or the fact that we still had no caravan.

🗓️ Holiday Plans Lost

Because of their delays and lack of communication, we have now lost our summer holiday and our bank holiday arrangements. The six‑month guarantee they offer would have been wasted, as the caravan would be in storage over winter.

⚠️ Sales Events With Skeleton Staff

Be aware: their summer sales events appear to run with skeleton staff in the workshop, and they clearly cannot cope with the workload. The dismissive attitude we experienced was extremely disappointing.

We have taken our deposit back, but the whole experience has left us questioning whether we actually now want to purchase a caravan.

Ordered online and was given an honest assessment of the delivery time and process.
I was kept informed via phone from staff members who were very helpful and knowledgeable.
The delivery arrived as expected and the goods were in excellent condition.
Highly recommend

Excellent service had to wait a while due to heavy demand for air conditioning recently, but I was kept informed by pleasant helpful staff. The unit was delivered in perfect shape and was easily installed by myself. The instructions from Truma could have been better maybe something lost in translation. But I'm sat in my van with a coat on and praying for another heatwave. Thank you for your service.
