Of all the things we enjoyed, the support crew on our trek up Kilimanjaro could not have been better. Personally, I had my doubts about my ability to summit, but with each passing day, thanks to the leadership of our guides Nastory and Emanuel (Eman), my confidence grew and I eventually realized that all I really needed to do was to continue to put one foot in front of the other and I would get to the top. Our two guides would ensure the rest.

While the competence of our guides was beyond reproach, the total experience was second to none. The warmth and support of the porters, kitchen crew, and other staff, set this experience apart. By the end of our trek, we felt we were part of an extended family. Everyone was helpful and generous beyond any possible expectation.

We had an exceptional trip to Tanzania and Kenya. Baraka and his team had coordinated the whole trip and it was thoughtfully organized including our request for vegetarian food.

I have a few weeks before I leave on my safari but Baraka has been in constant contact with me since I made my first deposit. He has been wonderful keeping me updated on inoculations, etc. There was a trip disruption that just occurred and he worked with me and my travel companion to fix everything to our satisfaction. With Arif Kassu's expert choice of lodging and itinerary, it was an exceptional trip. What made it even more so was the ability on our safari days by our driver and guide, Fadhili Komba, to lead us to a variety of many animals and some, rarely seen. We even saw part of the Great Migration. To top it off, we enjoyed several days in Zanzibar, in Stone Town, and at The Mara Zanzibar, an all-inclusive beach resort. This trip gave us the best memories of our lifetime!

Baraka is very good about returning correspondences in a short amount of time. He has been helpful and assisted us formulating the trip into what were are wanting. He has consistently given updates when needed and always replies to my concerns with answers and communicates effectively. He has worked with us to change things as needed.

The safari was absolutely incredible. Ben and his team members were incredibly knowledgeable, and ensured we had the best time. We took a three day safari and we saw the Big Five in the Serengeti National park and Ngorongoro Crater.

Good Earth Tours is an excellent company that truly cares about its customers. I really enjoyed traveling with them and experienced so many amazing things. The drone photographer was incredible—he took some really stunning photos while we were out in the wilderness!

My mom and I booked our Kenya safari to Nakuru and Naivasha and transport to Masai Mara via Good Earth Tours and it was a great experience. From the communication with Baraka to John who was our local guide & drove us everywhere it was seamless.
Minute details were taken care of, the lodge and food with vegetarian options- everything was on point.

We used Good Earth Tours to plan a 2 week safari trip to Kenya and Tanzania in September for 3 couples. Overall, our trip was fantastic! The logistics were seamless and our guides were terrific. They did a great job of maneuvering us from one location to the next so we could see a lot each day. In terms of the game drives, we didn’t expect there to be so many animals in close proximity to our Safari vehicle! It was so memorable!! Seeing all kinds of animals so close up (e.g., elephants, lions eating their kill, giraffes, etc.) was definitely the biggest highlight. Seeing literally thousands of wildebeests cross the river was amazing and was well worth the time we spent waiting for it to happen.

All pre-trip communication with Baraka at Good Earth Tours was excellent. Prompt replies to emails, willingness to tweak our itinerary based on our group's requests, etc.

Good Earth arranged hotels for us at the "superior" level. Glad we chose superior.

In Nairobi, we enjoyed the Sheldrick elephant place very much, as well as Nairobi National Park. The Utamaduni Craft Center and accompanying lunch was great. We loved being able to shop without having to negotiate prices.

We would not hesitate to plan another Africa trip with Good Earth!! On top of their excellent customer service, the prices were really decent compared with booking a similar trip through one of the really big tour companies.

We went to Zambia, Zimbabwe, Botswana and South Africa. Of course we saw the "big five"! Our adventures ranged from flying over Victoria Falls in a helicopter to stalking a lioness pair down the river in Kruger NP. Every safari and adventure was unique. The people were super nice, the hotels were fives star and the food was excellent. All of our guides and drivers knew the area and filled us with so much knowledge about Africa. Good Earth Tours went above and beyond right from our first call for inquiry to our return after the safari. The service was not short of exceptional. The team was quick to respond to my initial enquiry and were super patient through the entire planning process. They are very receptive to customizations in your itinerary and provide guidance on where you should be spending more time than planned and where 1 night is sufficient. We primarily worked with Narry for planning the whole itinerary and we talked to Baraka to a couple times as well. In fact, Narry, founder of Good Earth, happened to be in Arusha on day 2 of our trip and came to meet us for 5 mins on the side of the road to welcome us personally before our safari trip started. That alone shows they ensure all of their guests are well taken care of and feel comfortable all through their safari.

Right from the time we landed, we were made to feel at home with the amazing hospitality culture in TZ. All of the accommodations were exceptional in their location, service, food, and catered to all our creature comforts. At Ngorongoro, Good Earth was proactive in changing our accommodation during our safari tour since the accommodation we were originally going to be at had some issues before we even reached there. Given the busy season, I was amazed how quickly they arranged for our stay and upgraded to us to luxurious lodge, with an extremely scenic view of the crater and sunrise, without us requesting for a change.

Our guide, Abdul, was truly amazing and has eagle eyes to spot animals, regardless of how far they were or whether they were sleeping in the grass or completely camouflaged in nature. He truly went above and beyond to ensure our little curious animal lover kid got to see and experience all the animals in the wild. With over 20 years of experience, he is extremely knowledgeable on animal behaviors, different species of birds, animal patterns. herd behaviors, etc. He happily shared animal facts and correctly predicted what it would do next, which we never knew about and patiently answered the million questions we had throughout our safari. It was truly an experience of a lifetime to experience the wild and witness the circle of life. His knowledge about how animals react to certain things, or what they will do next really helped us get some good shots and up close encounters. He did his best to ensure we got to witness wildebeest migration and river crossing too, since we were keen on seeing the migration. He is the best! He always followed all safety protocols, for both us and the animals, ensure he was abiding by all the rules of the national parks. He drove very safely on all rough terrain and with all the dust, he even ensured the vehicle was cleaned up every morning, he got the floor mats washed, and seats were wiped down before our game drives every day. He became a family member by the end of our safari and our son misses him a lot.

At the end of Safari, we had a Good Earth representative visit us at our last accommodation to get feedback and asked us about our experience and what more they could do the to ensure we are having a great time. This was an an experience of a lifetime for us and we know we will be back. Tanzania is beautiful and we were completely spoilt by the hospitality. We left with a heavy heart and full of great memories. We will visit again for sure and will definitely use Good Earth Tours again.

I had the pleasure of a seven night Tanzanian Safari with Good Earth Tours and specifically with our guide, Joseph in August. It was the trip of a lifetime!!! Joseph was so knowledgeable, patient, kind, funny, and a great driver! While other drivers were rushing all over the place, Joseph stayed patient and on the look out, and we were rewarded with many animal sightings that others were missing. We saw all the animals we had hoped for and a lot more. The Pioneer Camp in the Serengeti was amazing…beautiful rooms, a bar with an amazing view over the Serengeti, great wait staff, and wonderful food! The staff in each place we stayed were so helpful and kind! I can’t stop thinking about the trip, talking about the trip, and reliving the trip through the wonderful pictures we were able to capture since I arrived home. Thank you Good Earth and Joseph!!!!

Our 14-day safari exceeded all expectations. The guides in both Kenya and Tanzania were knowledgeable, friendly, and always went above and beyond to ensure we had the best possible experience. From the stunning wildlife sightings to the comfortable accommodations, every aspect of the trip was flawless.
