I contacted Load Up for help loading a bedroom set into a trailer. I specifically told them when booking that the bed would need to be taken apart and was assured that the movers could do that and would have any necessary tools. The two men they sent were not trained properly to move furniture. They pushed one piece across the wood floor, which you NEVER DO, leaving marks. One gentleman was older and not able to lift much, causing my husband to have to help. When it came time to take the bed apart, they did not have any tools. My husband had to go borrow some tools from a next-door business, and ended up having to do most of the work taking the bed apart, while the guys stood and watched. During the process part of the bed fell and broke, ruining the bed. They advertise as professional movers, but this was far from professional and cost me an expensive piece of furniture and repairs to the home owner for damages.

Do not use this Service. Unreliable and poor communication. I used LoadUp for a Serivce to unload my U-Haul into my apartment. When I arrived and asked for an ETA on my movers, they said nobody had accepted the job. They said I couldn’t get a full refund unless someone didn’t show up when it hit 8:00pm. LoadUp called me finally at 6:00pm and let me know no one was going to show up today and asked to reschedule for the following day. Once again, do not use LoadUp for anything. Luckily I was able to find another company same day to help with my move or else I wouldn’t have been able to move into my apartment.

I hired LoadUp for wardrobe assembly after sharing my design and receiving a quote. On the service day, two workers came but said the job wasn’t clearly explained to them. They worked briefly, left, and promised to return—but never did.
LoadUp rescheduled for the next day, but again, no one showed up. After multiple calls, I still have no resolution. Only about 40% of the work is done, and my room and closet are left in complete disarray with parts and boxes everywhere.
Very frustrating experience. I don’t believe I should be charged for incomplete service.

I had a very poor experience with LoadUp.
I scheduled a Bagster pickup for Monday morning. A subcontractor showed up, poked through the bag, made a mess, and then refused the job—despite my listing clearly stating “concrete.” He admitted he accepted the job by mistake.
LoadUp rescheduled for Tuesday 8–12. No one came. I was then asked to extend to later windows, and after a third missed window (now into the evening), they still had no crew assigned.
At this point, my driveway has been blocked for multiple days with no service delivered.
Summary:
* Accurate description and photos provided upfront
* Contractor error acknowledged
* Three missed pickup windows
* No proactive resolution, only repeated delays
This is a failure to provide the agreed service. I would not rely on them for time-sensitive or heavy debris removal.

Total scam. The company you pay doesn’t even do the work. They contract it to someone else who then has to change your bid when they arrive. I paid $250 for my boxes to be removed based on the picture I sent to Loadup. The people doing the actual work get here and need $200 MORE to do the whole job!!
Now I’m minus $250 and STILL have a pile of boxes in my yard.
Loadup is just DoorDash for your trash, they take the money, do no labor, and take no responsibility. I do not blame the people they contracted, they have no choice but to deal with these scum bags too, and they are the ones doing the actual work.
Never, ever use Loadup.

Be very, very careful about hiring this company. Initially, their reviews look great as they have multiple entries on Google and appear to "game" the system to spread reviews out (our service was in Colorado and our review link was for a location in Kentucky). However, if you start to dig into reviews across all locations you'll see that this company appears to only use contractors which means your experience is dependent entirely on who they contract with.
Our experience was a disaster from start to finish. We were clearing out an entire estate and had a large job, and we knew it. We sent the company 14 pictures detailing everything that would need to be removed including junk, refrigerators/freezers, a TV and usable furniture. They assured us they could handle a job of that size, and explained that they would donate what furniture was usable and would dispose of the rest of the items which is exactly what we needed. They scheduled us for a 12 hour day on - 8am to 8pm. On the day of (Sunday), they told us they would actually arrive between 10am and 11am - they finally arrived just after 11. All they brought with them was a single, 13 yard dumpster. It was going to take at least 4 loads in this thing to haul everything away.
They loaded up the first load for the dump and left around 12:45pm. They told us at 2:30pm they had finished up the drop off, were grabbing food, and would be back. At 4:30pm we hadn't heard anything and asked for an update - they said they would be back by 7pm. Then at 7pm they told us they were 45 minutes away. They finally showed back up at 8pm.
Once they showed back up, they started loading some of the usable furniture that was to be donated. Only instead of loading it up to be donated, they started taking a hacksaw to all of the furniture. They just cut it all up and put it in their truck - there was a really nice dresser, desk, sewing table, and end table that could have really benefited others in the area and they destroyed all of them, leaving screws, nails, and wood all over our driveway in the process (which they never cleaned up because it was dark outside). We had a plumbing emergency at the same time this was happening and so were not aware of the damage until after it was already done.
At that point it was about 9pm and we asked them to leave so we could save the remaining furniture, and because we had been at the house since 8am that morning preparing for their initial arrival time. They still had not gathered the fridges, freezer, TV, half of the remaining junk items, and half of the remaining usable furniture. They promised they would return the next day (Monday), and would call us in the morning to let us know when they were on their way. Based on this information, myself and another family member took the day off work so we could be there so they could finish the job.
By 11am we had not heard anything, and contacted the company to get a refund. It took almost an hour to get someone on the phone, and they asked at least 4 times if they could simply call the guys back out to finish the job. We refused all 4 times telling the company the guys had destroyed valuable furniture, left screws/nails/wood all over our property, and were missing for 7 hours the day before, and had not contacted us as promised even after we took time off work to accommodate their disaster of a schedule. They finally offered us 1/3 of our money back - which we are fighting. We are demanding at least half since half the work wasn't even completed, what was completed is not what was promised, and two of us literally used up vacation time to address all of these issues. Maybe we could have had a better experience with a different contractor - but it is clear this company doesn't vet the people they contract with and ultimately will not take any responsibility for their actions.
