My first experience buying from Goldmark and it was great one! Such a personal and efficient service. I called to ask if a lithograph could be dispatched in time as a Birthday present. They were super friendly and went over and above to ensure an exact delivery day. The artwork was beautiful mounted and framed, packaged extremely securely, and arrived in perfect condition. Thank you to Phoebe and the rest of the team!

Such an amazing gallery. I visited for the 2nd time today, after initially visiting at the beginning of the uk Easter holidays to collect a piece of art that l'd purchased by Richard James, a month earlier. As soon as l walked through the door, they remembered me. They had changed the art on the walls from my previous visit, which had blown me away, and this collection was no exception. So l, yet again, wandered around their beautiful space, wonder filled with awe at all that l saw! Such a privilege to encounter such incredible art in one space. Not only that, but for the staff and owners to take the time out to talk to me; not something experienced in many high street galleries. This is a truly phenomenal gallery; the staff and owners being not only enthusiastic, but also very knowledgeable about the art that they show. Very much worth a visit.

I bought a lovely handmade mug and am very happy. How amazing to find a world class gallery with such a wide range and variety of art and ceramics in the centre of Uppingham!!

We asked for a very special piece of Art to be framed. It is ruined by Goldmark Framers - the result is completely unsatisfactory and amateur whereby the diamond painting of my dogs, one of whom passed last week, is destroyed.
When we approached the framers the shop assistant who we spoke to was defensive and admitted that the process of mounting the canvass was new to them, an experiment.
Not at any point was this mentioned when the art was submitted for framing.
Terrible experience and a ruined picture which is irreplaceable.
Cost was over £250 to frame it and their idea of redress is £50?
Goldmark Framers you are a disgrace and we have broken hearts.
I will write to the owner for their view and may take this matter further.

Goldmark have the most astonishing range of predominantly C20th prints and posters from the very affordable to the upper echelons of the market. The staff are incredibly knowledgeable and really helpful, and soon get to know a buyer's inclinations! For anyone wanting to start a serious art collection within whatever budget this could be the best place to start. But be warned: you'll keep returning; and resistance may be futile with consequent damage to your wallet!

I have enjoyed a long relationship with Goldmark Gallery, specifically with the Ceramic Department. I have built a collection of British, Danish, and French studio pottery largely with Vic's help. Fantastic works, but as important to me, I have so enjoyed working with the gallery itself. Their wrapping for shipping is a work of art in itself! Five stars for sure 💫

Goldmark Gallery is one of the very best sources of contemporary ceramics, and they are most helpful and co-operative during the buying process. Delivery is speedy, and everything is immaculately packaged.

I'm always amazed at both the stock which Goldmark hold and their ability to regularly source really quite special pieces of art. That, with their friendly, knowledgeable & utterly unpretentious style makes them a delight to visit & to buy from.

Over the last few months have bought paintings, pots and carvings from this gallery. I have been using them for some 18 years now and over that time have always been treated with efficiency and warmth. They have cheerfully put up with my changes of mind and ignorance! Their delivery service is now 100% reliable and the breadth of work displayed on their website artwork pretty amazing. Above all, unlike other such dealers, I have never been under any pressure to buy. I recommend you give them a try.

We first visited Goldmark approximately 6 years ago and immediately liked the informality compared to previous gallery experiences. It’s a great place to start or build on your collection due to the extensive variety of works on display. Everyone at Goldmark is very friendly, knowledgeable and will give you as much or as little time as you wish.

Goldmark Gallery is probably the best ceramic gallery in England, they represent some of the most talented potters out there. Their exhibitions are always prepared with great care, with videos and catalogs accompanying the shows. That’s a wonderful way to feel connected and get closer to the potters and their work, and definitely something every pottery enthusiast should watch out for. I have not been able to visit the gallery in person but all the Goldmark team is splendid and highly professional, which makes the virtual shopping a great experience. Happy to share the passion for mud with them.

I was able to buy some pots in the recent exhibition of works by Richard Batterham that were owned by Mike Dodd. As usual I found it straightforward to view all the pots, to look at them in detail and then to buy those I wanted. The whole process was helped by the information that was available about the works, including the excellent photographs and the video about the potter made by the Gallery. Once I had placed my order staff were quick to contact me to arrange a time for them to be delivered. In the past I have even had works delivered direct to my home by a van from the Gallery. Always a pleasure to browse the works on show and to choose those I wished to buy. Paul Mason

I have been a regular and returning visitor to this gallery for at least two decades. In that time I have purchased several of my favourite art pieces including prints paintings and ceramics. The gallery space itself is set on two floors and comprises several walk-through room spaces and an upstairs gallery with a central open space looking down on the main gallery space below. The gallery has a very strong online site with a wide varied and interesting selection of work definitely worth a visit. My interest has been mainly British 20th century art and this is well represented; John Piper, Michael Rothenstein, Rigby Graham to name a few.
The staff are pleasant and welcoming. Several of the key staff have worked in the gallery over many years and they are very knowledgeable.
There is a separate building with a single room space for ceramics alone with large street facing windows which makes the space well lit and perfect to show off the work. My other keen interest is in studio pottery. Over the years the gallery has regularly put on Solo ceramic exhibitions of living well established mainly British Potters and these have been excellently curated with exhibition guides that are informative and beautifully crafted with fantastic photography, collectible in their own right. The gallery have also produced accompanying DVDs as well for some of these shows. Latterly the gallery has become interested in Japanese/ Korean pottery and I have purchased some wonderful work by Ken Matsuzaki and Lee Kang-hyo.
I have kept returning to this Gallery because over the years I have developed good relationships with the Gallery staff, I feel comfortable there and the quality of work is consistently high.

Always friendly and helpful staff with an amazing ever changing gallery of wonderful art and studio pottery! Would highly recommend a visit!

The choice of ceramics, sculpture, paintings and prints is immense, prices are fair and staff very helpful and knowledgable.

We have bought prints and pots from Goldmark over many years and our house is the richer for the collections we have built up. All the staff at Goldmark are knowledgeable and very helpful. The framing and delivery service are faultless. But the crowning glory is the stock - huge collections from major artists and makers!! Philip O’Hear

Goldmark has a fantastic stock and the team has an impressive knowledge that it is always willing to share. it is an immensely welcoming gallery and as part of the unfailingly helpful service, coffee is always on offer while you browse. For those who can't make it to the gallery, the delivery service is superb, but do go in person if you can; it is an experience not to be missed!

From the moment I arrive the Goldmark team make me feel welcome, greeting me by name and with the offer of a coffee. I am always given time to browse without any pressure but the superbly knowledgeable specialists in art, ceramics or sculpture offer their time willingly.
