Ended up with a refund after chasing up the order, was told after I called it would be sent but then received a refund email a few days later and never got my cases

The lack of information and the obstacles put in the way of speaking to anyone. My order was made as they gave approx delivery of 3-5 working days and as I didn’t need it earlier it was fine but 8 days after ordering it was “processing” and I couldn’t get any information and had to buy something else for the gift this was meant for. The one thing that was quick was taking payment and sending 6 emails on the day of order. I tried to send an email but it was sent back as it was “in error”. There are so many good businesses, but this one lacks any interaction with customers unless they are buying after that they don’t want to know and give you no updates so you can’t plan anything. Not the way to do business. UPDATE I’ve just done my review and unbelievably 2 hours later an email from them asking how I rate the product ordered but as above have never received. I will update if I ever get my refund. Don’t ever buy from this company. I have to say they are the WORST company I’ve ever had to deal with or should I say ignored by. UPDATE They have refunded me today which I’m surprised about but it is the one positive in a miserable experience.

Whisky very well packed and very quick delivery.

They seem to have a good selection of hard-to-find products, which was what i was looking for that can, mostly, only be found in local shops.

Came quickly and in good condition too; definitely shopping here again as long as they have what I am looking for.

I placed an order in the middle of July which still hasn't arrived. Poor response by email and also when I spoke to a man who said he would look into the order and get back to me. Still waiting for an update, I will report to credit card company for a charge back.

Ordered two bottle of Gelnifiddich 12&15 years old unique old solero which is displayed on their webiste.
Received two bottles of Solero whom I can buy it from any high street supermarket at chepear price.
I emailed them no reply contacted them they refused to return it.

Ordered on 13 July. Followed up with them on 17 and 20 July as no update on my order status, despite meant to ship within 48-hours. Got a relative to phone them on 20 July and the man that answered was apparently in India. He said they didn't have the stock and would arrange a refund. I emailed to confirm the refund and still no response. Item still shows on their website (24 July) so either they have stock but couldn't be bothered or they don't have stock but are still taking orders for it.
Not convinced I'll get a refund but we'll see

I had tried a lovely rose wine in a bar but couldn't find it in any supermarket. Found it online at Goldenacre Wines so ordered a few bottles. It was hand delivered 3 hours later, excellent service thank you.

No despatch notification 3 days after placing the order. Messaged customer services to enquire. They responded after a couple of hours saying they were checking then I received an email saying my order was being refunded but no further explanation from the customer services. Actually, they don’t call it customer service on the website and rightly so, there isn’t any.

I got the drinks eventually but only when I rang twice, after a protracted delay in delivery, without notification. I was promised on both occasions that someone would get back to me, which they did not. Only after I sent an email asking for a refund, was I informed that the delivery was on its way.
