Excellent classes, huge variety of topics. My only quibble is that I have not been able to use the sharing with a family member option
I have tried several times but got nowhere. I can only speculate that this is because I live outside the USA.

I pay a hefty fee to belong to this website and frankly I haven’t used it in a couple years. Guess I should have cancelled it when the price almost tripled.

I just joined at the special rate of 1.49 for the first year, which is really great! It was easy to do, and I plan to make this site one of my favorites. I watch Justine frequently on YouTube.

I like craftsy because I can watch it on my computer, TV and phone on the app. This site has so many choices of classes and videos to watch and learn. I have honed my knitting and crocheting by watching classes. And the price is so reasonable for everything that you can have access too.

I am having a terrible time with my account management. I was not able to renew or pay for another membership as they said I had to AFTER my account expired????
Update* finally called the Craftsy Customer service main number today and explained my issues. The savy customer service person resolved the problem quite quickly. I suggest if you are having issues: CALL THE COMPANY DIRECTLY.

I signed up after seeing a 1 dollar for a year Youtuber sponsor promotion, and forgot to cancel the annual membership afterwards. I sent an email asking for a refund immediately after I was charged, and they refunded me no questions asked. Maybe they saw all the negative reviews on here about the auto-renewals, but I was surprised it was so painless. I did sign up with Paypal instead of a credit card, so it could be that as well.

A great way to learn without leaving the house...It has everything...My only suggestion would be to have them do something with their website that would let a client save their favorites and also separate the classes we've purchased without going through everything....

I enjoy the variety of crafts offered. I have to admit that I am not tech savvy, so perhaps I do not get all the benefits available.

I've been able to learn much more about quilting, my favorite hobby, as well as photography, drawing, and I've found some great recipes to try. I used to buy a lot of fabric and I sort of miss that.

Predatory scam business! Avoid at all cost!!

I got charged 155$ out of nowhere. They’re not responding to emails. I didn’t sign up for their services, but is impossible to get a hold of them. If you write them you don’t even get an auto-reply saying they received your email.

This is such a nasty business model!

Edit after company reply: that’s the whole issue! I’ve issued this several times but your email server is down. Emails sent to that address bounces! Kinda hard to get in contact with you or cancel when you list an unreachable email address!

There's always something to watch and make

Mother had auto renewing account. She died and they will not refund renewal 1 year after death.

I had over £200 taken without warning for a “Gold membership renewal” that I did not authorise.

My Craftsy account showed auto-renew turned OFF, and my membership was already paid and valid until 25 December 2025. Despite this, Craftsy took the money early, with no renewal notice, via an old PayPal billing agreement.

After the payment, Craftsy’s system simply generated an order to make it look like a legitimate purchase — even though I did not place one.

PayPal refused to help on the basis that a billing agreement existed at some point, which is extremely concerning when auto-renew is disabled on the merchant’s own site. I have had to escalate this to my bank under the Direct Debit Guarantee.

This experience has seriously damaged my trust. Customers should not have to rely on their bank to recover money taken without clear consent. Please check your PayPal automatic payments very carefully if you use Craftsy.

The many different topics, there's always something that catches me eye. But sadly I have difficulties finding information for specific issues.

In the many years I've been a Craftsy subscriber, I've always found the content to be extremely well produced and designed, technically accurate, and delivered by expert instructors who not only know their particular craft, but how to effectively help students of all levels to be better makers.

Good customer service and great video tutorials and classes.

I signed up for the .99 annual membership and I got nothing. This is fraud and unethical.

I have been going to Craftsy for several years. Their lessons have put me on to quilting beautiful quilts, majorly improved my knitting and started me on a love of weaving. I have also dabbed into a little cake decor and sewing . I let any one I meet, if they ask how I leaned so many things, I just tell them "Craftsy" look them up ! they are Great!

I received an email saying try our gold membership for $6 then a pop up saying cut to $3, then they took $261.60 out my paypal and bank, have reported it to paypal and will be going to the bank when it opens to see if I can get my money, that has been basically stolen from me
