Incredible experience from booking right through to flying home after surgery. Global medical were with me every step of the way. I had a gastric sleeve at medicana Atakoy, Istanbul with Dr Ibrahim. The hospital was amazing, more like a hotel, incredibly clean and comfortable. I've never ever seen a hospital come anywhere chose in the U.K. nor anywhere else. Dr Ibrahim and his team were so professional, kind, caring and incredibly friendly. I really really can not fault any if the pre operative tests, they are so thorough which means you can be certain you are in the best hands. Overall a flawless experience.

Everything was just fantastic I do not have any negative comments from the 4 days I spent over there.

From the moment I booked my surgery to the moment I returned home, my experience was absolutely fantastic and comforting. The level of care and service was exceptional; from the representatives to the nurses and surgeons, everyone went above and beyond to ensure a pleasant experience. They were incredibly welcoming, making me feel at ease and comfortable throughout the entire process.

The healthcare provided by Global Medical Care was outstanding. Dr. Mustafa and his team were exceptional in every aspect, demonstrating a high level of expertise and compassion. They made sure I was fully informed and comfortable at every step, from the initial consultation through to the surgery and recovery. The thoroughness of the pre-operative assessments and the detailed explanations provided helped me feel confident and reassured.

I am thrilled with my results and the entire experience. Even the transportation from the airport to the hotel and hospital was beautifully organized, ensuring a smooth and stress-free journey. The staff at both the clinic and hotel were incredibly accommodating. Even those who didn't speak English made every effort to assist in any way they could, going out of their way to make sure I had everything I needed.

My surgeon was dr ugur yasar he was amazing from the time I met him and was so understanding too. The nurses was amazing but my favourite was barrek she was lovely from the minute I met her she looked after me so much even when I felt worried of being 🤮 thank you so much ❤️. Daryla my translator came every day and kept in contact even after she was amazing too helped me so much she also kept me moving when I didn't feel like I could I had a total great experience with everyone. Even signing in everyone was on board helping me. Global Medical Care was on point spoke to me with everyone and made it an easier experience. Just one other thing I had no recommendations of Global Medical but it felt right when asking so many questions they answered everything I has to ask even after surgery I was asked if I had any questions every time I had a visit from them but I didn't because everyone covered it all. From Global Medical Care to the hospital to the surgeon to the nurses and to the cleaners thank you so much from the bottom of my heart I will never forget you all you're all amazing 🥰🥰 thank you so much

Franchement, c'est du top, suivi, explication avant l'intervention, le jour J on vous explique le déroulement de l'intervention biencure avec la traductrice qui maîtrise très bien le français.
Le docteur fait du bon boulot, professionnel ainsi que ses assistantes très souriantes.
Récupération de l'aéroport vers l'hôtel ou de l'hôtel vers la clinique est minutieusement calculé est respecté.
Le résultat au 15 jours est parfait, je recommande vivement cette clinique.

I'm absolutely amazed by the experience I've had! The entire team, from the Sarah, dietician, nurses, and translators to the surgical team, doctors, hotel staff, and the friendly porter, was phenomenal. The hospital itself was incredible, with beautiful rooms, and our hotel accommodations were equally impressive.
The level of care and attention to detail was outstanding. I have nothing but praise for Global Medical Care, and I'm so glad I chose them for my surgery. The team's thoroughness with all pre-op tests and their willingness to answer any questions made me feel well-cared for.

24hr support great staff and surgen no questions a stupid question always willing to help

Such a wonderful experience had my balloon inserted in Istanbul in January and removed in Antalya July lost a total of 42lbs the service was great the after care and the hospital in Antalya was out of this world if you want this done to help you then trust these

Je ne voulais pas publier de commentaire a la base donc je leur ai envoyé un message pour essayer de trouver une solution à l'amiable pour ne pas mettre en porte-à-faux les personnes qui ont été professionnelles sur place, mais j'ai été laissé en "vu" sans réponse.
Obligé donc de faire un bilan ici.

Le vol, l'hôtel, et l'accompagnement (navette+asuman l'accompagnatrice) rien a dire, c'était vraiment top.

Malheureusement, après 11 mois de greffe... Résultats catastrophique. J'ai pourtant été pointilleux sur l'après greffe. La greffe au niveau du vertex n'a tout simplement pas pris. Toujours la même tonsure. Seule la ligne frontale a pris (plus du côté gauche que droit....).
On ne vous prévient a aucun moment que ce seront des étudiants qui vous feront l'opération. Moi je me suis dis que j'allais faire confiance et que il faut bien commencer par apprendre. Mais c'est finalement moi qui paye leur manque d'expérience aujourd'hui. 1700 euros pour ça.... C'est une dinguerie.

Everything from start to finish was so easy.
The organisers, surgeon, nursing staff and driver were perfect.
I could not fault any aspect of my experience with GMC and would recommend to anyone considering the Gastric Sleeve option.
Been home for less than 24 hours and feel great, no pain and just getting to grips with nutrition for the next few weeks.

I just got home last night from having a gastric sleeve done on Saturday it went really well! I can’t thank the drs nurses and interpreters enough for the care that has went into everything! The hospital was very clean and staff were on hand for anything you needed! Many thanks again ❤️

Je reviens d’une 2ieme intervention avec Glibal Care. Cette intervention était nécessaire pour finir de couvrir. Les 2 fois, tout a été très bien organisé, rection a l’aéroport, prise en charge, intervention et suivi pendant les 12 mois suivants. Rien a dire, de plus que la deuxième intervention a été beaucoup moins douloureuse. Je suis très satisfait et le résultats est à la hauteur de mes attentes. A recommander.

I was very satisfied with your service. The communication and support I received was fantastic. The response time to my questions was really quick and still after surgery I have check ins and contact. A special thanks to the driver, he was very polite and friendly, I felt very safe with him. My surgeon was lovely, and always had time to answer my questions and reassured my concerns. The nursing staff, although they did not speak English, were very kind and caring. And lastly the dietician was so kind, and informative, she really took her time to explain what the next steps of this procedure will look like for me.

My only feedback would be the hotel, as a solo traveller, I felt a bit frightened in the hotel, in a place I didn’t know with no staff or other patients to talk to. It’s in a very noisy area on quite a busy main road. I think a hotel in a more tourist friendly area would be great with nice grounds and outdoor seating. I would have happily paid extra for this.

Overall I am very satisfied with the service I received in Turkey and my continued service now I am home. I would recommend to others.

I had my gastric bypass on 25th March 2024. From start to finish it was amazing. I was a bit nervous not going to lie but was a great experience. Everything was sorted for u flights transfer hospital medicine ect. When landing in Istanbul there was someone there to greet you at pick up point who then took you to you car. Car was lovely . Then arrived at hospital was all go straight away all the test u needed then time for bed . In morning u see the dietician and then get ready for surgery. After surgery nurses were amazing always there to help. I would defo recommend. Now to start my journey

It's been an excellent experience with them, I mean the surgery but also everything around, transport organization, hotel. You've nothing to worries about.
It's a big recommendation for me, you won't be disappointed by their services.

je recommande GMC , depuis la prise de contact à ce jour je suis informé, suivi, par l’équipe support sous le management d’albert , et par l’équipe local médecin , interprète (Asunam) , a mon arrivée en Turquie j’étais pris en charge d’une façon irréprochable, transport , hotel, intervention, suivi, depart, les instructions pour les jours , les semaines et les mois à venir … je suis plus que satisfait, maintenant plus qu’à suivre les étapes sur les mois à venir …

I initially paid a £300 deposit for surgery back in December, once this was paid they sent a contract for me to sign. I did not agree with the contract as there were clauses about posting bad reviews on social media, this felt to me that I was likely to not get an unbiased picture of services offered. I was then told "I don't have to sign but can still continue with surgery" I declined and requested a refund if £300, I was told someone would call me Christmas day to process refund.
This also didn't happen. I then this morning received an email advising my surgery date is nearing, I respond to say I have cancelled. I'm then told I will not get a refund and they will hold my deposit for 12 months to use on alternative services, I have advised that I have now raised a dispute with credit card company

Following from response, you made no effort to call on day arranged, I have a message clearly stating you chose not to call as it was a public holiday, I also NEVER booked a Sleeve with you in August,

Goes to show you are not a great company, it has taken you 3 and a half months to respond to this, And by the way, thank goodness I paid by credit card as I did receive refund through cc company.
