Glo Renewables Ltd  Anmeldelser

I contacted Glo Renewables following the decision to purchase an EV and wanted to find an installer of a GIV Energy charger as I already had a GIV Energy Ecosystem. Having spoken to Storm (Glo Renewables Director) it quickly became apparent he was very knowledgable and passionate about renewables and had a thorough understanding of the sector.

Following a survey, he very promptly provided a quotation and even offered me a 3pin charger to enable me to charge my car up just incase it arrived before he and his team had the opportunity to complete the installation (within two weeks from initial contact). During this period, I asked about additional battery storage, with Storm providing me with a quotation for a new battery, not only this, he advised that one of his clients was selling there nearly new batteries as they were changing their system, so he kindly put me in touch with his client (who also thoroughly recommended Storm). Subsequently, I purchased the second hand batteries and Storm kindly offered to install these at the same time as the EV charger for the cost of half a days labour.

As my previous installer of the GIV Energy system had gone into administration, Storm liaised with GIV to take over the management of my system providing support and updates accordingly (I had been without any support for a couple of years).

Installation day came and the installer (sorry, I can’t remember his name) was excellent and took pride in the installation and to the point that he used a spirit level and tape measure to ensure all three second hand batteries were completely level and equally spaced (something that can’t be said for the original installation completed by my previous installer that went into administration). The installation was completed Glo within the day and to a very high standard indeed.

Following arrival of my EV I couldn’t get it to charge, Storm jumped straight on my system to try and resolve (Sunday) completing test charges and looking into the settings etc. Turns out it was nothing to do with the system, but settings within the Octopus Energy app.

Subsequently, I had an issue where the battery storage wasn’t charging or discharging. Again, Storm jumped straight on and through videos was able to identify the fault and resolve straight away.

I can’t recommend Storm and his team at Glo Renewables highly enough which I think is demonstrated by all the previous reviews on Trust Pilot.

From start to finish the team were fantastic. Their professionalism, communication, reliability and helpfulness were exemplary. To cap it all they were all really nice people. We would thoroughly recommend them.

Very good communication from Glo Renewables. I am very satisfied with the service carried out on my solar arrays. Local, friendly and easy to deal with.

My experiences with Glo Renewables Ltd. have been entirely positive. I had bought batteries that stopped working after a few years from a different company which no longer exists. Glo Renewables was the only company prepared to service an installation they hadn’t put in. Chris spent longer than he needed to trying to fix what was frankly a poor system.
I was never pressurised into buying a new system but when I asked Storm and Charlie spent time providing me with options. I’m delighted with the new system I went for.
Questions were always responded to and I am impressed with everyone I dealt with at the company. They seem genuinely enthusiastic about what they do and ensure work is carried out smoothly and efficiently.

The team at Glo couldn’t have been better. They explained things well; worked carefully and considerately and went the extra mile to make sure we were happy every step of the way. They were nice guys to have around, managed to work around my work commitments (WFH), and left the roof in a better state than when they arrived. It is great to have our panels up and running and we have already recommended them to friends and family. Highly recommend – Awesome!

I absolutely 10000% recommend Glo Renewables for all your solar needs.
Initially I found them online when my previous inverter broke down. Of all the many people I spoke to Storm was by far the most informative and helpful. The whole team have been so helpful, kind and patient with my many silly questions. They have supplied me with a new inverter and battery system. Their pricing knocks others out of the water, and the follow up care and support is fantastic.
I am very pleased I chose Glo Renewables and would highly recommend them to anyone thinking of adding solar power to their home.

As with the original installation, glo renewables were very helpful with the upgrade we wanted. The work was carried out punctually and efficiently with minimal disruption.

As the managing Director of a roofing company we need a reliable and approachable renewables company to match our service. We most certainly get this with these guys.
Storm is organised and very knowledgeable. His team are polite and hardworking and each and every install is met with the same dedication.
We will always continue to recommend this company when we are approached by customers to coincide a renewables install with our roofing projects.

We felt completely looked after by Storm and the team since our first phone call. There was no pressure and Storm sent a comprehensive proposal with all the information we could need to make a decision, and quoted at a very good price too. The poor team worked tirelessly through the awful January storms (I hope you’ve recovered!) and we are so happy to be up and running and already saving money. Glo make sure you are completely satisfied and all is running as it should - aftercare is superb. Beware though - the solar system app is addictive!! Thanks everyone - very happy customers

Having a GivEnergy system already installed (not by Glo) and experiencing some issues, I turned to the original installer, sadly they no longer exist. So with some googling, I turned to Storm and the Glo Renewables team. Luckily they were willing to help and get the system back up and running. It was a pretty painless experience but it made me realise that these systems require the support of a proper company who will be able to assist in the years to come and not just there for the installation and then gone tomorrow. Glo were honest and up front with the costs and didn’t try to up sell or offer a ‘new’ system when it wasn’t needed. All in all a great experience.

We are extremely happy and satisfied with our solar panels provided and installed by Glo Renewable! From start to finish, the service we received was exceptional. The team was always available at the end of the phone to answer any questions, and nothing ever felt like too much trouble.

The workmanship was top-notch, and the entire installation process was smooth and completed quickly. We were especially impressed by how efficiently everything was handled—no delays, no hassles.

Within less than a month, we noticed a significant difference in our electricity usage. It’s amazing to see such immediate results!

I would highly recommend Glo Renewable to anyone considering solar panels. Their professionalism, quality of work, and customer care are truly outstanding.

A superb company that we only came across about 12 months ago. Over many years in business I can honestly say we haven't come across another company that functions on the level of Glo . Their knowledge is outstanding , always polite and work in a very and tidy manner . I personally would give thse guys a 5* +++ rating . Excellent work , thanks guys

I wish all companies were this good! Glo Renewables impressed from the start. Responded promptly to all calls, txts and email. Helped with the design and then worked well with my roofer for a seamless fit. Accommodated late design changes at my request. Polite, neat and tidy workers. Although early days the system appears to work as promised

The team were very helpful and fixed the problem in 2 days. They worked hard to resolve a complicated problem.

Glo rewired our 1930's house before we moved in. They were great through the process, were flexible and were happy to make a few changes through the install and completed on time allowing us to move in as planned which we appreciated very much

Can’t recommend these guys enough! I was blown away by the enthusiasm that Storm put into answering all my questions and figuring out a spec that fitted my own requirements. He was super happy to go through various quotes to help me check the estimated ROI on different options and also talk me through the technical features & pro/cos of each. Right from the start I felt that I was dealing with people who genuinely care about doing a quality job just because that’s how it should be done! When it came to the installation, all the guys were super-professional, and everything was very neat and tidy. I liked that they often checked in with me with options for how cables could be run, and although in a couple of cases the nicest looking option wasn’t easy, they were only too happy to figure out a way to make sure the end result looked great. The doc handover (wiring diagrams, MCS etc.) was very professional and Storm followed up to get my MPan Export number surprisingly quickly. He was also really proactive in explaining the system and following up after to make sure everything was working okay. Since then, no question has ever been too much trouble, even many months later. For my system I went with a Fox ESS battery & inverter, with panels on both the North and South sides, which so far, with 9 months usage and export, has matched expectations and so far, turned out to be a really good decision. Thanks again to all the Glo team!

Absolutely fantastic team. Installed a battery and PV system for us. Timely, reliable and excellent aftercare. If we are ever going to upgrade our system we will be using GLO!

Glo Renewables has been a dream to work with. They were genuinely interested in our project so worked with us to get the best system for what we wanted to achieve.
Storm and the team have been great to work with and we would recommend them 100% & beyond!

Dealing with Storm and Charlie, are both so friendly and polite,

They never rush or get frustrated and are always happy to give any details or information needed.

When dealing with the company these are the ones i like to go to.
