Pleased overall but a little stressed
I am really pleased with my overall experience with Glenbotal but I did have doubts after I placed my order and worried that the company was a scam.
When I went back to the website, the WhatsApp link did not work and all the social media posts were from over a year ago. Then when I looked at the credit card entry the business type was a computer software store!
I then could not find the company on Google Maps or on Comapny‘s house. However despite my worries my order arrived - it was well packed and on time. Glenbotal you really need to sort this out… you are probably putting people off and creating unnecessary stress. There are so many people out there trying to rip you off at the moment and you kind of look like one of them.
… and I’m not sure your AI response helps 😆

Hi, We do appreciate your review. We already fixed the Whatsapp button on our page! (thanks for bringing it to our attention).
We are also on google maps, but as we do not have a physical store, we don't really get reviews there. (will work on it, don't worry.)
We are just a small team who until now enjoyed collecting and drinking the whisky, now we try our best to share this passion with other enthusiasts.
But in reality there are so many small things that need our attention, that we do miss the mark on some areas. We will do better!

Some brain dead induvial in your…
Some brain dead induvial in your packing department put some of the plastic packing bullets inside the box of the whiskey bottle , they all melted onto the bottle and now the labeling is damaged and the bottle needs cleaning making it useless as a collector item

Superb Customer Service
Firstly they had a bottle that is very hard to find, secondly I needed it delivered in two days. Messaging via whatsapp (available on their site) at 8am, I had my order concluded with great 1:1 service by 9am and it arrived on time as promised, which was vital as this is a gift. A rare piece of caring about customers, which does not exist much these days

I was looking for a bottle of 1990 Balblair and amazingly they had one in stock! Even better it was a litre bottle! Great service, arrived much more quickly than the one I bought in South Africa last year.

Great customer service
Unfortunately, due to Royal Mail misplacing my bottle it took a couple weeks to arrive.
But customer service from Nimrod was outstanding. Very pleased with the outcome. And my JD collection is getting bigger. Will definitely be using Glenbotal again. And highly recommend them.
