I ordered a pair of 200 usd gloves, and received socks…! I raised a complaint and guess what, the customer service agent offered me USD 20 shopping credit for this disastrous mistake by Gilt!!
I m seriously disappointed by this ill conceived idea to mitigate this blunder by your packing agents. If you dont have the ordered item (confirmed after placing the order) cancel the order at shipping, or atleast offer a worthwhile compensation instead of this cheap USD 20 credit voucher!! Quiet low class response!
Disappointed in Customer service.
Purchased a perfume and glasses. Only received perfume, glasses never came. Got in contact with a live agent „Christal”. Via message. She wasn’t helpful and very dismissive. Supposedly my order got canceled and no one informed me of that (never received an email or anything). Christal, Didn’t really seem to want to answer my questions and just dismissed most of them and seemed like she was eager to disconnect. So be careful if you think you’re able to get help via message because they quickly dismiss you, disconnet and put back the virtual agent which isn’t helpful at all.

I purchased two stainless steel night tables for a guest room. When I actually had guests two months later a glass of water destroyed the finish. It started peeling up. It had no disclaimer on the item description. A dozen emails and phone calls later explaining I had other steel furniture that could withstand a glass of room temperature water, they closed my case. I’ve been a customer for over ten years and have spent over 20k with Gilt. They are willing to lose me over a known defect and $400. They are unconscionable and refuse to escalate the matter. Goodbye and good riddance.

I wish I never ordered from Gilt.com. Absolutely the worst experience when it comes to product delivery. Gilt charges quite a lot of shipping - $12 flat within the US. It ships by the US Postal Service, which is always slow. But that's not even the worst. The worst is that in my case it took more than two weeks for the order to be picked up by the USPS. For more than two weeks, my order status said "Awaiting Carrier Pickup".
I don't know how this company managers to attract and keep customers with such terrible service.
Don't order from Gilt.com. Most likely you will come to regret it.

I bought a gown from Gilt
I bought a gown from Gilt. I purchased Seel delivery. The tracking order shows only that it was left with "an agent". No signed proof of the delivery. The tracking also suggests that it was delivered to a university/college address which is not the correct address. Seel refuses to process a refund since it says that the time limit is 15 days from delivery. It follows that undelivered items which are international orders will not be accounted for. I have purchased from Gilt before and am extremely disappointed. I may not purchase from them again. The Seel assistant offered empathy not a practical solution

Awful. Part of my order wasn’t delivered & they did nothing to help and basically told me it wasn’t their problem. I’ll never order from here again.
Very happy with Gilt
I’m not sure why there are so many negative reviews on here, because I have been purchasing from Gilt for about 5 to 6 years and have not once ever had a problem. I’ve even been able to return something that was not eligible for return after calling customer service. Everything I’ve gotten has been in new condition. The shoes might not come with both of the dust bags or the box might have a scuff, but I assume that they are possibly store returns, because there is a reason why they’re less expensive. I purchased a designer handbag from Gilt a few years ago, had it authenticated elsewhere, and was told that it was authentic. I’ve purchased four pieces of Tumi Vapor luggage, and two Longchamp Le Pliage totes within the past month for a lot less than I would’ve paid at the store. I’m very happy with Gilt.

crap jewelry
I bought a bracelet from here for $50. It stated that it was worth quite a bit. However, it turned out to be piece of metal with diamonds that weren't worth much. I tried generating a return, but the label never worked, because I kept receiving an error when trying to download it to print. In the end, I ended up just donating it.
Empty mascara
I’m so disappointed by products sold on gilt.
I bought what supposedly is a designer mascara that was $90 retail price.
When it arrived and I tried to use it, was empty

The worst on line company
The worst on line company. Its over a month they can;t find my packages and no answers and the run around and won't give me a refund. AVOID at all cost. STAY AWAY from this company.
Bad Deals
I recently had a few bad experiences with Gilt, two times with receiving worn out clothings with heavy body order , one time with lotion that had uneven consistency , i immediately disconnected with this company.

Trash Shipping Policies
Their shipping policies are absolute trash. It takes around 10 days to receive your order, but if they deliver it incorrectly, they make you wait an additional 5 business days or 7 regular days to look into it. They say it’s because FedEx can mark things as delivered up to 5 days prior to the actual delivery, but I have never in my life encountered that, especially with the all timestamps they provide to track the shipping process. Unless you have a photo of it being delivered to the wrong address, or you know your neighbor has it (which at that point why would you contact them when you can get it directly from your neighbor??) they make you wait.
Then when they finally do agree you won’t receive the item, it’s another waiting game for it to hopefully get redelivered correctly. It’s absolutely horrendous to make your customers wait ONE MONTH to get their order. And then have to pay a $11 return shipping fee if they don’t want it. Like I said, absolute trash
