I had a ghost bed and it lasted a few years, got bad, had it replaced the replacement was even worse. Told them they said it had to break in. It’s been a year and not sleepable at all. Worst bed I’ve ever slept in !

I’d like to share my experience with Ghostbed and notably my sales representative Greg. He has been amazing. I have purchased four beds and the experience each time has been nothing short of amazing. He is always gone above and beyond to make sure that my purchases met my needs and consistently exceeds my expectations. Don’t walk! RUN AWAY!

Ordered the “Luxe Foam Mattress” and the “All in One Foundation”.
The mattress is over designed. The middle third of the bed is a different foam, once the foam warms, the lower back sinks into the bed; causing unacceptable strain on the lower spine. It really is a bad design, and honestly have no idea how anyone can find this comfortable.
The foundation is literally the same quality of a $30 foundation you can get at the supermarket. It’s very cheap metal and a cheap, flimsy design.
The bed does come with a trial, but the trial IS NOT hassle free/no questions asked. They will use every scummy tactic in the book to get you to part ways with your money.
The foundation, on the other hand, is not refundable from the moment you click “buy” on the website.
So yea, just stay away from this place. They are selling cheap trash at a 1000% markup; like literally buying junk, slapping their label on it; and marking it up 1000%.
Just move on. Better beds out there.

Avoid ghost bed

Terrible mattress and a pure scam. Garbage product, but great scam marketing! First Luxe mattress was replaced after one year under warranty, with another Luxe mattress that is turning out to be even poorer quality than the first one. A five inch divot after 3 months of use with both mattresses is terrible. This company is a total scam!! The company should not be allowed to be in business. Worst mattress I have ever purchased in 50 years! Avoid, Avoid, Avoid! A complete waste of $1,700!!!!

Everything Mary Vinas said. The return policy was what you'd expect from a criminal enterprise. Its just disgusting. The bed sucked in the first place, but that's no surprise. The real thing is how rude the person was on the phone. She started lecturing me on how holidays worked. Totally rude and quite mean.

Update: once I was able to talk to someone at ghostbed in person, the entire process was seamless and completely acceptable. I think theirr automated email reply system is broken and serves to confuse much more than a serves to help.

Disappointed and Frustrated

I am beyond disappointed with how my mattress return was handled. The entire experience from start to finish has been frustrating and disappointing. I purchased a mattress, hoping for quality based on their promises, but it was a huge letdown.
First, the mattress itself was far from comfortable and definitely not worth the price. It didn’t live up to any of the expectations set by their marketing and quickly became clear that I made a mistake buying it.
Despite the 101- night sleep trial, the process was an absolute nightmare. Returning the mattress took way longer than expected, and the communication was awful. I had to wait far longer than expected for any updates or assistance. Every time I reached out for information, I was met with slow and unhelpful responses. The lack of urgency was frustrating, especially considering I was following their stated return policy.
To make matters worse, when it came time to issue my refund, they gave me an incredibly hard time. I had to deal with excessive delays and unnecessary back-and-forth before I was finally issued the credit. It was clear they were doing everything they could to avoid giving me my money back.
This whole experience has been stressful and aggravating. I would not recommend this company to anyone, especially if you might need to return a product. The mattress wasn’t worth it, and the return process was a hassle from start to finish. Save yourself the headache and look elsewhere.

Don't get the GhostBed cooling memory foam mattress topper if you're a hot sleeper

I ordered the cooling memory foam mattress topper on March 3rd, and I received it on March 12th. I got it because I'm a very hot sleeper, and it's highly rated for cooling. There is no cooling effect, and it doesn't disperse body heat as advertised; instead, it acts like a heat sink, and it concentrates your body heat in the area you are laying, turning that area into an inferno. After a few hours, I woke up feeling like I was being cooked alive in an oven. I had to remove my covers and move to a cooler spot on my bed, but I kept waking up with the same sensation. That was the worse sleep I've ever had. I am glad that I got it for half off, but I'm still out $250 because GhostBed only accepts mattress returns. I hope the dumpster diver gets more use out of it than I did.

This is an awful company

This is an awful company. They are not to be trusted.

We tried them out because of a friend’s recommendation and because of the 101 night return/exchange; however, it turns out if you ask them any questions they will use that against you later if you actually want to exchange/return.

My husband and I both took the quiz and got recommended the ghost luxe and ghost flex so we got a twin XL in each to fit our king bed frame. We tried out the beds and they killed both of our backs. We decided to try each other’s bed and it was slightly better but still woke up in pain. I am a planner so while we were suffering trying to do the recommended 30 days on these new beds, I emailed customer service saying I have a few questions and listed my 3 questions to help us come up with a decision on how to move forward.

1. Can I exchange the 2 twin
xl beds we got for our king frame for 1 king Venus all foam and if we still
don’t like the Venus can I still get a refund for the king venus?
2. Do we have to wait the full 30 days?
3. If we wait the 30 days to exchange do we still get the 50% off on the
item we exchange it for?

The rep (Jacinta) took my first question and split it into 2 separate questions which it wasn’t meant to be 2 questions; therefore, I didn’t get my question clearly answered.

I responded to the rep as follows:
The second question is the one I’m most concerned with. So if I exchange these 2 twins for a Venus king and don’t like the Venus I would not be able to exchange again or get a refund so essentially I would be stuck with a bed that potentially doesn’t work for us, is this correct. I would like a clear answer so I can make the best decision for us. 

After this I finally got an answer stating if I exchange I would not be able to return or exchange again so I replied: in that case I would just like to request a full refund

After this the rep replied:
At Ghostbed we aim to please and would like any feedback that would help improve our products or services, so if I could ask you some questions, that would be extremely vital to us in resolving any issues you are having with your Ghostbed.
How does that sound to you? 
Would you say you are a back/ stomach or side sleeper?
Do you prefer a softer or firmer mattress? 

After this I responded by asking again about the refund and where I should donate the beds to and the rep then responded:
I was able to speak with my supervisor who has advised that we can move forwarded with the return.
Because this is a non-comfort reason we will not be able to complete the return process on your order.
On 12/29/2024 you ask to do an exchange for a solid King Venus size is not part of the 101 night sleep trial.
I was able to get the approval because you requested to do the exchange.
Please note that it is found on our website if your initial request for a return/refund is due to non-comfort reasons we will void your sleep trial.

To me this response didn’t make any sense. The first part the rep said they can do the return then the 2nd part said they can’t and for reasons that didn’t make any sense. I tried to call twice to speak to someone to get clarity and called a third time with none so requested to speak to a manager.

My focus was never on the size of the beds and my questions obviously stemmed from comfort issues because why else would someone even be thinking about a return/exchange. Even though I explained all of this to a manager (Grant) over the phone he said because my original question involved size and because I didn’t answer the reps questions about if I prefer a softer or firmer mattress that voids any possibility for return or exchange.

So we are out $2,500 and have mattresses we can’t use. I would recommend staying far away from this company unless you’re okay with potentially losing thousands of dollars.

There is a defect in the…adjustable bed frame

There is a defect in the design/manufacture of the adjustable bed frame. The metal in the bed frames breaks, rendering the adjustability unusable. GhostBed replaced the first 2 under warranty. Both replacement frames broke in the same way, but are no longer under warranty.

BUYER BEWARE

BUYER BEWARE: DO NOT BUY ANYTHING until you read this. I am a returning customer, that has purchased 2 ghostbeds. I WILL NEVER PURCHASE ANOTHER PRODUCT.

Monday, I ordered a ghostbed mattress protector from ghostbed.com and quickly realized it was a mistake. I called customer service within two hours of order on a holiday (Sept 2nd),
Ghostbed refused to cancel the order. They can't cancel the order after it's been placed.

Package didn't ship for 2 more days. Called several times and email, won't cancel the order. FedEx stated I can't cancel it but the sender can. Ghostbed REFUSES to cancel the shipment. If I refuse the order at my house (unopened), I'm being charged a 15% restocking fee and a $25.00 freight cost because they won't cancel order.

This company won't last long. They treat their returning customers like this, imagine what they do to all customers. Lost a returning customer for under $50

NEVER AGAIN with this company.

Email from company this morning:
I will be glad to itemize my response below for further clarification and to answer all of your questions.

1. As stated, we do not have the option to cancel orders once they are placed. orders are processed immediately and we do not have the option to pull them from the drop ship production line once the order is made.
2. Fedex is able to have the package refused and returned to sender. As it is in their possession, they would be responsible for routing it back to us for return.
3. Should it arrive to you and you are unable to refuse the delivery, you can choose a shipping service to send it back at customer expense. This option, using a service to return ship the protector, would remove the $25 return freight cost and the 15% restocking fee would still apply.
4. If refused, the return freight cost of $25 is deducted from the refund amount, as this is a return shipping cost we incur from Fedex.
5. For some, they prefer to receive the item, not open the packaging, and use a service such as USPS to return. Should you wish to do so, I will be glad to place the return instructions in an email to you.

I had bad experience with…

I had bad experience with GhostBed.First time purchasing mattress on line . From the start I told the salesman that I need firm mattress as I always used firm one because of my problem. I was suggested that I should get classic medium mattress.I didn’t like the mattress because of the sinking feeling. After several contacts , they responded me that it was final sale. I told them I didn’t want the refund but exchange for firmer mattress finally they agreed and I had to pay the difference of $500 extra . The mattress they send was worst than the first one , more sinking in. Now they will not even take the mattress or pay me the difference for the second mattress . I even told them about my disability that I sink in more in the second mattress . I was told nothing can be done. They really don’t care about the people’s feelings and their health . I saved up money to buy the best mattress for myself but I end up with the wrong company. If they don’t have firmer mattress then they should inform the customer about it but they just care about selling their product. I am very hurt and disappointed .

Customer Service Nonsense

I ordered the incorrect headboard brackets as had the wrong brand from my mothers bed (100% my bad.) I emailed to try and cancel once I realized my mistake. I received a response stating they could not cancel as it was already in the works, ok no problem I totally get that. But following that they said that I could return it but would have to pay postage and a 15% restocking fee. What? Ridiculous, terrible customer service... This is why third party retailers like Amazon are the way to go, no trumped up charges.

Ghostbed doesn't honor its guarantee

Before I made purchase of two twin mattresses from Ghostbed, I chatted with their representative and was informed that 101 night cover both mattresses.

After I tried and felt dissatisfied with their mattresses, I requested a return and refund of the mattresses. Ghostbed tried in many ways to discourage return and gave me a run around. After I firmly and repeated insisted that I wanted to return the mattress. Ghostbed representative told me that I can only return one mattress. In addition, they told me that I needed to return the useless promotional items but didn't bother to provide instructions of how to return the items to them but was told that they would deduct a lot of money if such promotional items don't return to them.

Ghostbed doesn't honor their guarantee and made the return process miserable. It intentionally misinform and mislead their consumers. Don't buy from Ghostbed.

Advertise that they are fast shippers…

Advertise that they are fast shippers and full refunds. Neither are true! They charge restocking fees even when the box hasn't been open. Part of order never shipped. Ordered on 7/20/2024 and today is the 31st. Called and they are refusing to cancel the remaining ordered.

Horrible Service for my GhostBed Massage Mattress:

I am incredibly disappointed with my experience with GhostBed and their massage mattress. I purchased the mattress with high hopes, only to encounter a series of failures and deceitful practices.
Upon receiving the mattress, the installers informed me that the crucial pump needed for the massage feature was missing. Despite immediately notifying GhostBed, they assured me they would send the pump. Weeks passed, and I never received it. When I followed up, GhostBed claimed they had delivered it to my complex, which was untrue.
Frustrated and unable to use the mattress as intended, I requested a return and refund. GhostBed stalled for two months, citing a review with FedEx, only to later claim they couldn't honor their return policy. They then had the audacity to demand $1000 to replace the missing pump that I never received.
This experience has been a nightmare. GhostBed's failure to deliver on their promises and their attempt to charge me for equipment they never sent borders on scam-like behavior. I strongly advise against purchasing any product from GhostBed. I am now left with a $5000 bed that I cannot use and no recourse for resolving this issue.
This level of customer mistreatment and deceit is unparalleled, and I regret ever trusting GhostBed with my purchase.

Second time was NOT a charm

I originally purchased Classic, as I had previously purchased the same one back in 2017 but had it damaged during a move. Upon placing this order, I wanted to make changes, but the representatives were rude and unfriendly. They could not even listen to my suggestion of upgrading the mattress to a newer product; they said it had already shipped. It's been over six months, and the GhostBed Classic has failed to meet my expectations. Their 30-day money-back guarantee is pretty useless because no one can tell the quality and compatibility of a mattress until they have spent some time sleeping on it. I see other reputable companies offering a 1-year guarantee trial because they are more confident in their products.

The quality of the recently purchased mattress is inferior to the one I bought in 2017 via Amazon.ca, but that mattress was still branded as GhostBed. This particular mattress purchased from GhostBed has issues with uneven distribution, and I would wake up sore in the hips, sometimes even painful, many next mornings with me being a side sleeper. I tried to adjust to sleeping on my back, but it does not give the support that the original one used to, and it tends to lead to a sore back.

Something must have changed in how they make the mattresses, or perhaps using cheaper materials, but I am entirely dissatisfied and unhappy with the purchase. Their customer service was not friendly and was difficult to deal with. They would not even organize a pick-up of my older mattress upon request.

Anyway, I find myself switching back to my older mattress (this is from before 2017 - a different mattress altogether from another better reputable brand), leaving the recent GhostBed Classic purchase completely useless. I am not a happy customer due to unhappy nights sleeping on their products.

Honestly, I am very disappointed and never wish I placed that order. Please don't fall for GhostBed's sales tactics and endless emails filling your inboxes because they are trying hard to make a sale. It's not worth it. Poor customer service and failing mattress quality, especially when I compare directly to their previous product. Somehow, they just downgraded their quality. If your sleep quality is important to you, PLEASE look somewhere else. Anyone's money could be better spent on a better quality from another brand, perhaps a more reputable brand.

This company is fraudulent.

In June or July of 2023, I purchased a bundle package of a supposed 14" mattress (when inflated) & adjustable bed frame in 2023. The cost was approximately $3,000. The mattress only inflated to 12" after waiting 48 hours and it also sagged on one side that caused me to automatically roll over onto my back. So, I returned the mattress in order to buy another elsewhere since I did not trust the quality of Ghostbed's mattresses. Only to discover that they still charged me $3,000+ for just the bed frame, something the customer service representative failed to disclose upon purchase. When I queried why they didn't inform me of this upfront, the reply was that "I didn't ask." Really!? Why would or should that question even cross my mind? It seemed logical that they would refund the difference and I would pay for just bed frame. To my dismay and shock, they ripped me off and was stuck paying an exhorbitant amount for the frame itself. Does that sound right or fair? Now, I can't even sell it for anywhere near that price when all adjustable frames range around $1,000.

They are not an honest company! So, buyer, beware if buying from them (or any other independent company) selling a bundle package. Stay away from that choice. Buy each product separately.

If I could give them a negative 10 stars, I would.

I know that Ghostbed will not post this review, but at least I said my peace.

Its garbage

Its garbage, the thing is hard as a rock. It ia not memory or gel foam in the least. I bought and now im.stuck with it and im stuck sleeping on the couch because im in so much pain after laying on it for 5 minutes, thqt i cant see straight. All there reviews on the site are qritten by the company. Dont buy it!!!
