Purchased a deal from Appsumo for GetTerms.
This was for a few low volume sites.

The GetTerms Cookie scanner could never discover the cookies our sites were using. Odd since their competition had no such issues.

After many conversations with their tech support and assurances that they were working on the issue, they even suggested we get a refund.

They come off as a scam.
Even the promotion with Appsumo has been erased.

UPDATE:
Let's be clear here.

When the product did not pick up site cookies as advertised (one of your main features), we did contact YOUR customer support.

Customer support told us that there was bug on YOUR end.

We were assured that YOU were working on it.

We waited many weeks for YOU to fix your bug.

The refund is not the issue - YOUR defective product is. And I could add the near non-existent customer support that seemed absent much of the time.

We are perfectly aware that you are a smaller business and we were very patient with your service - as CS wrote you had a fairly big influx from your promotion.

We were ready to work with you - after a few weeks, the cookie scan feature still did not work. We tried to work with you to resolve this.

Given the arrogance in your response, I wish we could leave a "no star" review.

This SaaS tool is legit. It's so easy to generate Policies for your business. No need to spend a ton of money on a lawyer fees.

I had to contact GetTerms' support team for the second time since I engaged with them. Both times, their helpfulness, reactivity and kindness amazed me.

Their services are stellar and saving me lots of time and money, but I'm so happy to have my back covered with such a stellar support team.

Thank you guys, and please keep up this enthusiasm!

I have already been playing around with the tool and the ease of use is out of this world. You answer a short questionnaire and in a couple of minutes, you'll have all the necessary legal pages in place, ready to embed on your website. I have tried various other tools before and I had never found an easier one, or another company I felt I could trust as I do with GetTerms. Really great job! The site provides a very easy way to full fill all the requirements for your Privacy Policy, you don't take much time to complete all the questions and you can also review and update the Privacy Policy easely. But the best part is the support team who has helped me to understand all the requirements through out a very, very personal and kind support. I DO RECOMMEND Get Terms lifetime plan, even for some one in a country where the exchange rate is high it was a real great deal!!!

Henry contacted me, they refunded my payment so i can create new privacy pack for ecommerce site. Should be 5 stars if the response time is "within hours" as advertised.

I want to change policy pack from web pack to ecommerce pack and sent contact form for support.

It said that support will reply in a few hours. After waiting for more than 24 hours and still no replies, i deleted web privacy pack i made before. And there is no way to create new privacy even for same website without repay.

Why the system unable to detect which web we created the privacy pack before so we can create same privacy for same website.

I searched the internet for a long time trying to find a website policy generator that at the right price point covered all the aspects of privacy, cookie and terms of service policy generation. Some of the other competitors were overly complicated and frustrating with their charging for each required clause.
GetTerms is simple to use and I opted for their lifetime deal which was better suited to my requirements.

For me the most positive experience has been the amazing customer support. I did experience a few minor issues with my payment processing but these were resolved in a swift and extremely friendly and professional manner.

Knowing that there is someone there who responds to questions and resolve and problems is huge as in my initial research I wrote to other companies but no one every replied. So happy to have gone with GetTerms for my website policy compliance needs and can't recommend them enough.

GetTerms was really easy to use! All I had to do was answer some questions that the website prompted me to. It was mostly checkboxes that applied to my nonprofit organization and once I finished answering all the questions everything was generated for me automatically within seconds.

This was a great experience. Really straightforward way to get an important part of your website done when you're a small startup and don't have loads of money to throw at it! It was so easy to do, I literally set it up in 10 minutes. And the great thing is you can adapt it as your business grows and changes. Would 100% recommend to all business owners.
