Slow refund process after receiving a chipped planter
I was very disappointed with my experience. The planter arrived chipped and damaged, so I asked for it to be collected as I didn’t want a replacement after already waiting a long time for delivery.
The planter was collected last Tuesday, but when I contacted customer service to ask about my refund, I was told the warehouse had only just received it. I then received an email saying I now have to wait a further 3–7 working days for the refund to be processed.
This has been a frustrating and unnecessarily slow process. Through no fault of my own, I have been left without the planter I ordered, which has delayed planting my tree. I expected a much quicker refund for an item that arrived in a damaged condition.
Overall, I am disappointed with the service and the length of time it has taken to resolve this issue.

To clarify the details of your order, our team noted that the planter didn't actually have a structural chip or damage, but rather a minor cosmetic imperfection. Regardless, we wanted to help you out, so we assisted you with the return right away and confirmed we would be in touch once the goods safely arrived back at our warehouse.
Because our warehouse team handles hundreds of orders every single day, it can take up to a week to physically process incoming returns. We do apologize for that slight delay, but as soon as the item was confirmed as safely received, we updated you. While we stated that the refund would take the standard 3–7 working days, we actually went ahead and processed it right away.
We always strive to be as helpful as possible, and we took care of your request as quickly as our processes allowed. We are sorry to see such negative feedback given that we supported you every step of the way, but we wish you the best with your planting.

Damaged planter - ignore any communications from customer - Awful after-sales
Awful after-sales. I think they have acquired idealistplanters sister website and maybe can’t cope with orders. Ordered two concrete planters, one quite damaged with large crack and chips. Emailed both emails provided and no response after 10 days. If you call you get someone with a thick Russian accent I could barely understand who fobs you off with excuses and they don’t do anything to fix. Sounds very scam like. Will never purchase from either of these companies again and would advise other customers to look elsewhere or you’ll likely be disappointed if you expect them to care about the damaged expensive products they deliver or any decent customer service.

We always strive to ensure our products arrive in perfect condition, but unfortunately, occasional transit damage is unavoidable.
We would like to clarify the communication from our side. The only communication we have received from you was a single phone call on June 17. During that call, our representative did confirm that we unfortunately had not received any previous emails from you. To ensure we received your message, she asked you to resend the details to our main email address, which was carefully spelled out using the NATO alphabet to ensure absolute clarity. Unfortunately, to this day, we have not received that requested email, another phone call, or any communication from you via our website live chat or WhatsApp.
Per our company policy, we require timely visual proof to process replacements or refunds for damaged goods. However, even though the initial window for providing photos has now passed, we are willing to rectify this issue for you right away. We have reached out to both of the email addresses you provided, so please check your inbox and spam folder so we can get those photos and resolve this swiftly for you.

Shambles. Ordered 5 expensive garden hangers. Never arrived. They re sent, arrived. Part missing from one unit. Posted allegedly on the 11th June, it's now the 22nd. Never arrived.
