I paid for the initial 4 months of this app and did not think it had a useful value for the price. I cancelled the subscription. I received an email assuring me the subscription was cancelled and I would not be charged. However, I was charged a week later. When I reached out again, they basically told me it was a subscription and they processed the payment so I had it for 4 more months and they refused to refund me. After a few responses to resolve the issue and all I got was the previous message copy pasted. I disputed the charge with my bank and had to cancel and replace my card to avoid further charges. Also, just to note, even though they charged me for 4 additional months. I do not actually have access to the service. They are just scammers. Save your time and money.

After several sessions, I expected to feel a real change, but it doesn’t seem that way yet. It might be my fault — I’m not really sure. I’ll continue, and we’ll see how it goes.

UPDATE #2: I finally received communication back from Happyo regarding this situation. A refund has officially been issued, so thank you Happyo for making things right. I’m disappointed it took the negative review on Trustpilot to achieve this, but nonetheless, in the end, they did come through and make it right, so thank you. A lot of time could have been saved by all had this been handled the first time around with the initial customer service correspondence.
UPDATE #1: per Happyo’s response below, I contacted them through their support ticket. No surprise they have not responded to the support ticket. Don’t be fooled: They may be quick to respond to public negative Trustpilot reviews, but their actions to correct the issues are nonexistent.

Not an effective app or service and an even worse customer service. Don’t waste your time with these slippery subscription services.

Ich finde diese (Selbst) Hypnose Sitzung sehr gut, der Text ist klahr verständlich, gut aufgebaut, nicht zu lang oder zu kurz. Der Inhalt ist genau das was ich brauche, und die Stimme ist sehr angenehm.
Ich werde sie öfter hören, mind 30 - 40 Tage damit sie sanft und nachhaltig auch in meinem Unter- Bewustsein wirken kann. 👍

I took out a 30 day subscription with Happyo.
I thought the sessions were awful. The female hypnotist is not a native English speaker but that’s not the problem, in addition to the poor sound quality (Mike bumping noises) she sometimes says thoughts but then starts saying foughts as if she can’t pronounce ‘th’. I found this very distracting and could not concentrate. I listened to 7 sessions and then contacted them for a refund. They agreed to this and cancelled my subscription. As I didn’t receive a refund, I contacted them again and this time they said they didn’t refund subscriptions!!! That’s not what they said on their site!
Please don’t subscribe to these people. I’ve added this edit because they replied to me, below, with a lot of waffle…if you can listen to a hypnotist with lazy pronunciation, go ahead and waste your money. They said I would be refunded but then changed their minds, disgusting…
Finally, when they saw this review, they stepped in and they did refund me. I think it’s terrible that customers have to jump through so many hoops to get a refund for a less than satisfactory hypnosis experience.

The program is extremely basic considering the cost. This is something I think I would’ve seen in like the early 2000s not in 2025. Not super easy to use. I would sometimes try to rewind a session because I needed to start over and it was difficult, almost impossible to do. It’s on a website there’s no app for it which again makes it difficult to get to on a regular basis. I mean, who doesn’t have an app? It was overall un impressive to say the least so much so that I forgot it even existed. I tried to cancel it once or twice, but the website wasn’t that user-friendly. And again, I forgot it totally existed. I had a recent medical concern and I started going through all of my subscriptions to cancel them and because this is a website and not an app I forgot to cancel it. Was charged again for another six months reached out finally, and they refused to provide me a refund. there really isn’t anything I would recommend about this program.

I am sure their service are good, but I did not use them. I wanted to do a trial.
As I tried to unsubscribe, there was no such option on the site itself. You have to write an email. While this is obviously a trick to make people forget and they are not in the wrong, it reflects on their company values in my opinion.
In their response here they just said they would resolve the situation or have resolved the situation over email
That's not true. This has only been done partially.

Serious issues of credit card being over charged. I signed up for 1x3 month course for which a receipt was provided. However, Happyo continued, deceivingly, to charge my credit card for an "ongoing subscription" that I did not sign up for. Further to this, no more invoices or receipts were emailed for the ongoing subscription being 3 monthly charged either, making the payments difficult to detect. Looking through other reviews, there is a concerningly high incidence of this happening to other customers. When I followed this up with Happyo and requested to see where I had approved an ongoing subscription, they were unable to do this. Frustratingly, the AI bot did not care to help in anyway.
The course was not effective. Hence why I deleted the app after my 3 month course ended. Warning - Happyo uses underhanded charging practices with no notifications or receipts to alert unapproved charges. Do not use Happyo.
