GetDefensive.com provides Texas-approved online defensive driving and driving safety courses designed for drivers who want a convenient alternative to attending a traditional classroom course. GetDefensive has offered online defensive driving courses in Texas since 2004. Its course is licensed by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation, TDLR, and is available for eligible drivers completing defensive driving for traffic ticket dismissal. GetDefensive also offers a defensive driving option for drivers seeking a potential auto insurance discount, subject to their insurance company’s requirements. Students can complete the course online from a computer, tablet, iPhone, or Android device. Course progress is saved, allowing students to stop and return later without starting over. Students can choose between text-based and streaming video course options. For eligible Texas traffic citations, drivers should first obtain permission from their court and confirm that their citation qualifies for dismissal. GetDefensive also provides access to Texas driving record ordering, which may be required along with the course completion certificate. The online defensive driving course is offered at $25, the minimum price permitted under Texas law. GetDefensive also provides U.S.-based customer support for students who need assistance during the process. GetDefensive.com focuses on making Texas defensive driving straightforward, accessible, and convenient for drivers completing a state-approved driving safety course.
