I should have read reviews before order 2 Humidifiers from airclairu.com for $138- what I received was 2 tiny Aroma Diffusers - customer service said that the Aroma Diffuser is the new model of the Humidifier (with no timer, no light settings, no 520ml water tank to run 8-10 hrs..) - I have asked for my money back...lets see what if any integrity this company has?

I ordered a humidifier from Clairu. I paid extra for expedited shipping. Three weeks later I have received an tiny aroma diffuser from China. This is a bait and switch, beware!

34 days and still haven't received the product. Emailed and called, always an excuse. Do not use this company. They are total SCAM.

I ordered a humidifier on 2/22/26 and still have not received it one month later. The product appears to be built on multiple bogus "top 5" websites. Reading Trust Pilot now, I believe that Clairu is a scam.

I initially ordered 2 humidifiers with 30 hour running time and a 580ml capacity @ £70 each. What arrived, almost a month later, were 2 small pieces of plastic boldly described as arome diffusers. Not only do they not humidify rooms, the tiny 180ml tanks would definitely not give 30 hours running time. I contacted the company and was told that they do not enclose returns labels but I could return the items to an address in Bedfordshire at my expense and would I kindly send tracking number as proof of return. I did all this and waited. Nothing! A week later, I contacted Commerce core to enquire about my refund. I was told my tracking number didn't work. Absolute rubbish. I checked it myself and resent an email with proof of delivery. I used Royal Mail recorded delivery, it cost me £11.95. Worth it, as I had shelled out over £140. Thankfully I paid for my purchase through PayPal and when Commerce core continued to try to fob me off, I escalated my complaint through PayPal and was refunded within 6 hours. Avoid using Get-Clairu at all costs but if you have been duped, like me. You can get recompense.

I had EXACTLY the same experience as everyone else is describing. Did not complete the purchase but saw that they processed 2 orders immediately. I messaged right away to cancel and they said it was already packaged for shipping but not to worry, I can always return them. It seems like thats not going to go well either based on prior comments. Its been a week so far. We shall see what happens. Not hopeful I'll even get them and even less hopeful that I'll get a full refund. Use caution on this site!

I wish I had read these reviews before I ordered what I thought was one humidifier - only to find they had charged me for two. Needless to say the money has been taken and there is no sign of delivery. I was told I would get a tracking number within 24 hours - again nothing arrived. Their customer service is quick to respond but always come back with another question. I don't hold out much hope of getting them.

Unfortunately I never read the reviews before looking at this company. I was never directed to teh PayPal payment page to process the order, instead it took me to a page offering a better deal of more humidifiers, again, not knowing the first order had gone through, i clicked on the link thinking it would take me to teh payment confirmation page of PayPal, but it just took me to the offer again. This aroused my suspicion and i started looking at my PayPal account, the 2 amounts totalling £270 were pending so i left it hoping it wouldn’t go through as I never confirmed it, but unfortunately both payments came out. I contacted Customer services and requested they cancel the orders but they said it’s too late and orders are processed within an hour of ordering, so couldn’t be stopped. I’m still waiting for shipment details but nothing yet and it’s been 17 days. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY IS MY ADVICE!

I did not press the button to pay for the order and I went to my email later and found 2 emails telling me I had been charged for 2 orders from this company for diffusers. They had also exchanged the amount shown into USD. There was nothing stated on the website that this would occur, it implied that you were paying in AUD. It took my payment through Paypal. I immediately contacted the company and was advised like other customers that the products had already been shipped! A total LIE. I contacted Paypal and as usual Paypal have disregarded this SCAM and told me they will not do anything in line with there regulations. I have contacted my bank and advised them of this SCAM and awaiting advice from them at the moment. How can these businesses get away with this? How can they charge me when I have not placed and order? I am beyond angry. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS COMPANY, IT IS A SCAM.
PAYPAL IS ALSO A SCAM, THEY ARE NOT GIVING CUSTOMERS PROTECTION AGAINST SCAMMERS!

If I could do zero I would. Same as everyone else total scam and should be reported. I’m still trying to work out how the order went through and even though I was only ordering 1 somehow they took 2. Same as everyone else unable to cancel I did this order through PayPal and no idea why they are allowing this company to pay through them. As no review payment page as is usually when paying through PayPal, just boom payment taken. I thought that was what PayPal were supposed to prevent from happening, by being able to review what you were purchasing before submitting payment.

Complete scam. Avoid this company. I ordered a humidifier for $79.99 and got a tiny aroma diffuser. Before the diffuser came, I realized I made a mistake by ordering from this company. Tried to cancel and got the message that it was impossible to cancel because it was packed and shipping out within minutes of ordering. "PRODUCTS HAVE BEEN PACKED AND READY TO SHIP. NO CANCELLATION POSSIBLE". I'd have to wait until it was shipped to me from Lithuania. Then I could return it no problem. I just emailed them to return it and they required a customer feedback form to be filled out before they will "walk me through the return process." I filled out the form, and just got this crazy message.
"Our rules for the item return dictate, that to be eligible for a refund you must send the items back to us within 30 days after receiving them. The items have to be unused/undamaged and in the original packaging you have received them in. In addition to that, the cost of returning the items will also have to be covered by you as stated in our Terms & Conditions.
"To avoid all this trouble and extra expenses we would be glad if you kept the items you received and, if you would agree, we would issue an instant refund to you for the 25% of the whole order value! If this option seems acceptable for you, please let us know and we'll do it right away :). I told them I don't want the item, and want the refund. They responded "We understand your position. I have forwarded your message to my manager. After discussing this further we'd be glad to offer you an instant refund of 50% of the whole order :)
"You'd be able to keep the items, you won't need to pay for their shipping. Would this work better for you?
I'll be waiting for your reply!" And it goes on. I'm betting will never see a refund.

I am having the same problems as so many others on this review site. ORDER 2 AND NOW GETTING 5. Tried to cancel got the same excuse as other here has written.
PRODUCTS HAVE BEEN PACKED AND READY TO SHIP. NO CANCELLATION POSSIBLE. this is after two weeks of ordering 2 of them.
I bought this product because I read a review on humidifier and the Clairu one was rated #1.
How naive can one person be. ME, I'am that naive.
I do not expect to get the humidifier and have to lose my money. DON"T buy anything from this company.

Absolute total scam on every level! Avoid like the plague. First, I went to purchase 3 for a "discounted price", and after checkout I had "ordered 5", for over $500!!! I IMMEDIATELY tried to cancel the order, and it was impossible. NO email to reply to. I called customer service, very difficult to get through, and when I finally spoke to someone they said "I am sorry that order has already been packaged and shipped from the warehouse"! It had been 10 minutes! I called my credit card company to stop payment, and was told I could not stop payment until the charge was no longer pending, which was 24 hours. I ranted and raved at customer service, and FINALLY got "credit" for the extra two I did not order. It took five weeks for the "ordered" products to come, (even though I repeatedly tried to cancel, and was told they were shipped). NO tracking number provided. When the products arrived, they were NOT room humidifiers, but rather tiny little plastic "aroma" diffusers... Probably worth about 5 bucks. I paid $79 EACH for total crap. They don't even work. They are NOT an American company, and there was NO return address on the product. SCAM every step of the way.

Cancelled order within minutes of it going through and email said it was packed and ready to leave factory.01/27/26 Received email today 02/27/26 order shipped.

I checked online reviews for a humidifier and ended up purchasing one. I immediately realized the review was from a sponsored link (suspect) and tried to find a way to cancel the order from their website.
Finding there is no way to do that (more suspect), I called customer support within 5 mins of the purchase to cancel the order. I was told the order was cancelled and I would receive an email within 10 mins.
20 mins later I received an email saying it had been shipped. I called support again and was told they cannot cancel the order now it has been shipped and I would have to wait for it to arrive, then process a return.
Considering the delivery estimate was 7-12 days, I can't believe it has been shipped within 20 mins of placing the order (even more suspect).

Total fraud. I payed for 1 item get one free should have been €37.24
I did not order or authorise another payment of three more and warranty, that was set up with recurring payments. I have cancelled the payments. Surely if I was to order a warranty I need to know the price of it what it covers and to agree to a standing order coming out of my account?
I tried going onto your website and was warned of malware and phishing. At the moment it is being looked at with PayPal dispute which I lost. They told me they see nothing wrong. I did get my items and all of them have US pins none have UK plugs. This company are an absolute joke you should avoid at all cost.

I have paid for x2 plug in air purifiers x3wksago and have still not get . Please tell me where they are I have paid for the hem . You where quick enough to take money

Would not cancel the order within 5 minutes of accidentally hitting button. VERY expensive for a one ounce piece of plastic. Doesn't emit any plume of "fog." Asked for a picture, sent them a picture. Box was unopened. Have not heard a peep. What a rip off. Hugely annoyed.

I wish I would have used this website to read the reviews. I'm finding I'm having the same problems with ordering. Haven't received any communication since I purchased the humidifier. My bank immediately sent me 2 fraud notifications. I wish I would have paid closer attention and froze the payment.
