I ordered a suit for my grandson's prom. The measurements were totally off due to the seamstress not using your measurement guidelines. I called and without hesitation Toni the customer service manager made everything right and allowed me to resend the measurements and have the suit ready in time for my grandsons prom. Also I must add that the quality of the suit is exceptional. The delivery presentation of the suit excellent. Love the personal garment bag and the box it came in. I will definitely order again and recommend Gentlemans Guru. I will send pictures after prom.

I had a great experience with Gentlemans Guru. Their customer service was on point and they answered my emails fast. The suit I ordered for my son’s high school prom was really good quality and the packaging was clean and impressive. It actually came earlier than expected too, which I really appreciated with the big day coming up.

I was purchasing a high mandarin collarless tux shirt and was in uncharted water. I thought it would be novel with a white tux coat for a wedding. I found Guru online and ordered it, just to see it.
The shirt was perfect and I got many comments about it.

I ordered a size too big, and the responses were speedy, prompt, and precise.
I needed a piece of clothing for a very specific event.. it got sent expedited and arrived on time and the fit was impeccable
I got a great many compliments on the tuxedo jacket with Paisley pattern..

However, in the era of the Amazon return model, anything less is annoying. Online clothing retailers have to deal with returns. I wasn't sure if I would be a medium or large so I ordered both. The return process isn't bad but it's also not great by modern standards. Write and send an email to customer service, wait over the weekend for a reply, print something out (no QR codes), box it, pay for shipping.

I just have a few remarks about my experience.
Likes: First, the customer service and email updates were very satisfactory. The suit came the other day as the website time line suggested. The suit seems to be made very well, and almost is out of the box ready, just need pants hemmed.
Dislikes: First, I am not really to happy with the color, and yes I know basing it off a website detail might not be perfect. I was looking for the WOW factor when we get married in Maui this Spring. Something BOLD, BRIGHT, ENERGENIC, VIBRANT, ALIVE....what I got is a baby blue suit really. I don't know if they over an option to buy a swatch of material before spending $500 but they should. This next thing does not reflect on them but I will give you my experience. The suit was shipped via UPS with arrival time 12:30pm-4:30pm, then that day a new time 3pm-7pm; just what, showed up at 11am, even before the original 12:30pm. Luckily someone was home because a signature is required. Now, it came in a nice suit box, in a brown shipping box so they do take shipping care to get it to you.
In the end, next time would I just go to a brick-n-mortar store...yes indeed.

The suit is absolutely perfect - fits like a glove, is of exceptional quality, and the customer service exceeds expectations.

Upon first visiting the Gentleman's Guru website, I was overwhelmed by the variety and selection from which to choose. I fell in love with the Double-Breasted Blue Daisy Floral Suit, but was very skeptical about ordering a suit online. So, with that in mind, I drove out of town several hours, to go to lots of different stores and salons to buy one ready-made, to have fitted. After seeing the floral suit on Gentleman's Guru, everything in the stores were just so boring and underwhelming, and even cheap looking, so I decided to bite the bullet and place an order. Some of the measurements I supplied seemed a bit off to the staff, who quickly contacted me to make sure the measurements were, in fact, correct - which made me feel less nervous about ordering a custom suit online.

Upon receiving the suit, there were a few issues. Without going into details of said issues, Toni contacted me immediately. Her direction, kindness, and commitment to customer satisfaction was beyond compare. Now, the suit is absolute perfection, of exceptional quality, and is even better than I imagined.

I highly recommend Gentleman's Guru, for both quality and customer service, as well as an amazing selection, and I won't ever hesitate ordering from them again. As a matter of fact, I've already got another picked out!

The silver paisley mens dress shirt was very impressive looking, and in quality. Unfortunately, after following the fit guide, it was to small.
