Great service, customer service is very good

Update: The server itself has been running great, and GenShift did successfully finish up a ticket for a minor issue about three days ago. At that point, I was ready to come back and leave a positive update.

Unfortunately, when I tried to log back in to do that, I was right back to the same problems we had at the beginning. I cannot log in to their website, and the two-factor confirmation emails are not being sent. I tried to update the ticket by email, but the message was delayed for 72 hours, which appears to mean their support email is not accepting messages properly. I also tried opening a ticket without logging in, but the Submit button ended in an error.

To be clear, the server is still running fine. The problem is support and account access. At this point, support has effectively been unavailable for more than 72 hours.

Because of that, I am dropping my rating back to 2 stars. The server performance has been good, but a managed server provider must have dependable support and a working ticket system.

Update: My managed VDS is now up and running successfully. There were several issues to work through during the rollout, which is not unexpected with a setup of this type. The important thing is that the GenShift team identified the problems, addressed them professionally, and worked with me until the server was functioning properly. Their staff has been competent, responsive, and helpful throughout the process. I am updating my review to 4 stars.

Update: Pre-purchase questions to the billing department were responded to quickly and professionally. Their answers set realistic expectations, not pie in the sky sales promises. I have ordered a Managed VDS.

Update: I have been able to login now with no OTP prompt. I will update further as I decide whether or not to pursue the hosting option.

I have never been able to get past the sign up process (I am #60 Bob Hoffman FYI). I was prompted for a mobile number, I put it in, after numerous resends (using the correct USA prefix +1) I never received and OTP code. Without the OTP code I could get no farther.
So I logged out and attempted to submit a help ticket. Attempts to open a ticket with sales support ended with the request apparently not getting sent and an error notification. Not a good start.
