GB Projects Anmeldelser

I don’t think I could ever recommend anyone more highly! Gary and his team have just completed the job and I will genuinely miss their company everyday. They are such wonderful people and it’s been a joy to open our home to them. The work and care are of the highest standard-everything is absolutely perfect-attention to every little detail. The team also showed such an interest in our project and making the space the best it could be at every stage of the build. Our house is very old so unforeseen extra work came up once the build started and nothing was too much work or an issue for them, I don’t think anything could come up that they wouldn’t be able to find a solution for! I would not even consider another team for future works. They have a great energy and are masters of their craft. I can’t thank them enough for helping create a dream space for us!

Gary is the best builder around. He is beyond skilled in everything that he does. There is nothing that he can’t do. I couldn’t rate him any higher. Thank you for everything Gary!

Fitted me a new bathroom in September brilliant experience from start to finish, very professional and kept me updated with everything going on, would definitely recommend

An outstanding company who go above and beyond to make the customer happy. Gary runs his jobs exactly the way he explains when he initially carries out his quote and he and his team are a great bunch of guys who are friendly, courteous and trustworthy. They built our kitchen extension for us and Gary ensured that all tradesmen and materials were here at the appropriate times throughout the build, was always on hand to answer any questions that we had, and always made sure we were happy with everything at the end of each day. Forget the 1 star reviews here, they are obviously fake in a malicious attempt to discredit them. We would highly recommend GB-Projects and would hire them again if we needed any more building work carried out. Thank you Gary and the team, you have helped us to love our home even more.

Another fantastic job by Gbprojects, would definitely use again professional from start to finish, and the work is amazing thank you so much, please ignore all the fake 1 star reviews that trust pilot have refused to take down saying people are allowed to put them on even though there is no proof, I can put a picture on of the work that was done on my house to prove it was done, it’s laughable that all of the reviews were put on the same day within a couple of hours of each other, don’t trust everything you read on trustpilot

I would just like to say a massive thankyou to Gary and the team. They have just completed a fantastic job at my property in Bredbury.
They were polite friendly and extremely professional.
I would 100% recommend his services to anybody looking for Building work.
Job was completed on time and with minimal mess and disturbance seeing as I have 4 children.
Thankyou again and I will certainly be using you if I need any additional work doing in the future.

Gary and his team removed a chimney stack from our roof which was causing some problems. They were excellent -prompt, friendly and professional at all times, and removed it without issue. Gary was really helpful and was also happy to give us some advice about other issues in our house.

They mentioned that they had been spammed recently by some fake/false reviews and in my experience these do not reflect the high quality of their work at all!

*UPDATE*

Since posting this review, G B Projects have finally now stopped ignoring us and have replied to our review, pretending they never did the work! Even further evidence of why we will never recommend them again.

Me and my wife spent 6 years saving up for our dream home which we finally had the pleasure of buying last year.

Upon moving in and growing our family, we had visions to extend the house which - after many consultations we felt at ease with G B Projects with all the assurances the owner provided.

The work began (this was a £57,500 project) and within the first couple of weeks, once the foundations were set, we noticed that one of the walls seemed visually not straight. My husband decided to check it himself with a leveller and to our concern it was not level.

We raised our concerns with G B, who assured us this was because the cement was “still wet” and once it dries the wall would somehow straighten itself out.

Due to the amount of money we’d already paid them, we decided to let them continue.

Long story short, the wall did not straighten itself out, and at the end of the project we are now left with 3/4 walls that aren’t level.

At the end of the project, the building inspector came to visit our property to check the work that was completed, and to our horror revealed to us that G B Projects did not install any RSJ supporting beams in our extension, meaning that the walls are basically being supported by nothing, and are basically an accident waiting to happen.

We have now been ordered by the council to have the whole extension taken down, after spending nearly £60,000, G B are nowhere to be seen.

They have blocked our numbers, if we call from a different number they put the phone down the second that they realise it’s us.

They aren’t responding to emails and this has now become a legal matter.

They have literally ruined our lives, if you don’t want them to ruin yours, I strongly recommend you stay away from this company!

Best company I have ever had.

Seen a lot of negative reviews on here and I know 100% they are all fake and spam.

Gary and his team have been incredible and I have recommended them to all of my friends and family!

Would 100% use him again and welcome him back into my home!!

Not nice people.

Atrocious customer service ! Tried to call customer service, picked up the call and i could hear voices and laughs but then they hung up. Tried again. They did the same. Why even bother having a phone if you re not gonna answer customer enquiries

Disgusting behaviour!!! Avoid this company

Fantastic service, friendly helpful, couldn't do enough to help us.
Professional and courteous would recommend these boys any day !!!!

Gary and his team did such a good job of my kitchen and bathroom! Such a lovely team, and so easy to have a laugh with so you don't feel like there are just strangers in your home there to do a job!

Unprofessional and horrible attitude all around. Avoid at all costs!

Smelly weirdos

You know them crazy stories you hear about builders and workmen, well mine was one of them.

I don’t even have the energy to type it all out. Just believe my 1 star would be 0 if I could. I’ve warned you.

Horrible company and staff

They’re done.i never would work with them again treated me so unprofessionally.
