We found Gates Scotland to be a great company to deal with. Our initial contact was with Anthony the Sales Manager for the company and after a chat on the phone he invited us to visit the showroom to get a better understanding of the different gate options and finishes. We're glad we did. We placed an order and Euan the fitter came to measure up and check my customer supplied measurements. He was extremely helpful and discussed the mounting options and what would look and work better. The final gate diagram was sent over by email and after promptly answering a few queries I had the job was passed to the producrion team. Jay kept me updated over the following weeks and offered a fitting date slightly earlier than expected. Euan returned to fit the gate and did a fantastic job. Nothing seemed too much trouble at any stage for this company and everyone we dealt with were friendly, professional and genuinely put customer satisfaction at the forefront of what they do. I can't rate Gates Scotland highly enough and would happily recommend them for purposeful, top quality gates with a high level of finish. Thanks again guys.

I had tried to get a few company's and didn't have the best experience, on a Sunday night I found gates scotland and decided to chance it. VERY glad I did, not only did they respond on Sunday but with a few bits back and forth they came out did the measurement's. Within the first week we had been booked in and had drawings of what the gates were going to look like, they are side gates at a bit of an awkward angle.

The fabrication of the gates themselves took about 6-7 weeks, they came to install and it took around a day. The way they installed with it was better than I expected, you can barely see where they cut out the slabs for the posts. There was a slight issue with the alignment as the gate we had picked was the first one of that type they had installed, however i email and they returned the next day and fixed it.

Overall it was a great experience and I would recommend them to anyone, they had a great amount of options as well. The whole experience was easy from start to finish and we're very happy with the final product.

Prompt service from start to finish, one small issue with gate was rectified same day, no complaints and would recommend to anyone who asked wee we got our gates from.

The whole process from choosing our gate and handrail to installation was highly professional and efficient and we are delighted with the final results.

We recently had new black aluminium gates with charcoal inserts fitted by Gates Scotland, and the results are fantastic. They look incredibly fresh and modern, and have completely enhanced the overall appearance of the building.

Not only do they look great, but the security they provide is excellent and gives real peace of mind. The workmanship, attention to detail, and overall finish are top quality.

We are really pleased with our gates. We visited the workshop to see different materials which helped us decide on aluminium. The team that fitted them was excellent - even working through awful weather to get them finished for us. The gates look super and we have greater security.

Excellent service from start to finish, providing mock ups of what the gates would look like as well as answering any questions I had. Really happy with the end result and would thoroughly recommend.

Metal Frame with Aluminium Infill Gates

We were in desperate need of new gates for our driveway (the neighbours definitely seemed to think so anyway). Tried many different companies but had great difficulty even getting a proper quote and when I did the prices were ludicrous - the downside of living in Edinburgh I guess.
Gates Scotland were great from the start sending an estimate very quickly, for review, before sending out an engineer for a full check and proper quote.
Then quite simple to choose options and colours (we chose aluminium infill for longevity as our last wooden gates rotted) and get a final drawing of the final design for sign off. Takes a few weeks to manufacture obviously but then great team arrive to install - which they did very quickly and efficiently.
Gates look amazing! Neighbours seem to agree and have asked for contact details to get Gates Scotland to do theirs too...

Phenomenal experience from start of the enquiry to the fitted gates. The discussion with the designer to make sure we were getting what we wanted was brilliant to the guys who came out , measured and then finally fitted the gates. Highly recommended and my only disappointment is it’s only 5 stars on here as they are deserving of 10.

Since the start, Gates Scotland were highly professional in their handing of our request for handrails for our house. All employees we came into contact with were very polite and efficiently carried out their tasks. The finished handrails are made to a high standard, excellent finish and sturdy construction.
I would recommend them to friends.

Absolutely excellent company to deal with.
They responded back about an initial price within 24 hours.
They turned up exactly when they said they would for site survey.
They were extremely helpful when I needed advice on which gates suited my needs (easy maintenance lol).
And they kept me informed of when they would be fitted etc.
Having dealt with a few companies recently to get works done around the house, this company by far exceeds everyone else.
