Quick and easy to find a flight got a great price checkout was simple no extra steps 10/10

Do not book with this company.
There is no way to call and speak to someone emails take over a week to get a response.
I paid a lot of extra money for direct flights but one of my flights got changed to a connecting flight. there was no option to select another flight or speak to someone so I had to cancel and rebook directly with the air line.
I had to pay for both flights before ever getting a response from gate1.ca
they are a scam do not use them I am still fighting for my refund which the airline says I am owed.

Not trying to waste your time:
I purchased a round trip for $610.39
after 12 hours Gate1.ca reached out to me that I have to pay Extra $90
I refused
Gate1.ca sent only one ticket to me and refused to make a full refund.
So to sum it up, I lost $430
This company should be prosecuted and thei practices are all a sham.

Do not risk, do not put your money in danger.
Even MasterCard did not do anything so if you think you have a safety net, you are wrong.

They did the very basic minimum, which is all I ask for, and so much more than many agencies online.

2 things went wrong one is when I wanted to book for two passenger it was more expensive the other one I was not able to pay with my visa desjardins ( I have good insurrance with that card but was not able to do it ) and had to use another credit card I called my card no problem on their side but .....

Best prices by far. Will come back to this review after the trip, so far so good!

Too much pressure to book. charging extra to send flight updates??!!

I searched many different airlines and I was very discouraged by every little extra cost that was mostly forced on me to be able to book a flight. This site made it easier to deny extra costs and to choose only the ones that I needed. Booking was easy and less expensive than many competitors.

horrible company. Maybe list a legit phone number you scam artists. Booked flights and they changed our flights to have our trip go from 7 days to 3 and have no way to reach anyone ti get my money back even though I Paid extra to be able to be refunded. Scam artists do not use

First time using the website and booking process was straightforward.

My flight was cancelled during COVID. The process from then until being to rebook now has been a nightmare, with Gate1 being virtually non-responsive. The trip is now costing me 35% more than originally booked. Definitely a great experience and will not be booking through Gate 1 ever again.

They have surcharge even though they said free for credit card
