Ich bin schon seit 2017 im Krypto-Bereich unterwegs und habe viele Börsen kommen und gehen sehen. Gate hält sich länger als die meisten, das zählt schon etwas. Für mich ist es eher eine praktische Exchange. Ich lagere dort nicht mein gesamtes Vermögen, nutze sie aber gern, um Tokens zu kaufen, die auf den großen Tier-1-Plattformen noch nicht gelistet sind.

Gate’s futures liquidation process left me quite upset recently. My stop-loss was clearly set but during high volatility the system experienced delays and my position got liquidated at a worse price than it should have. I provided all trading logs and screenshots but support closed the case quickly saying everything was within normal parameters. This felt unfair and I lost a significant portion of my margin. I’ve noticed similar complaints from other users on forums, so it doesn’t seem like an isolated incident. Besides this, the app notifications for liquidations are not always timely, adding to the problem.

Tout allait bien jusqu’au moment où j’ai voulu retirer des montants plus importants. D’un coup ils ont demandé une vérification supplémentaire et bloqué mes fonds pendant 7 jours.

their verification process is strict af. Had to do it three times before it worked. But once done, trading is unlimited so I guess it's worth it.

I was stressed tf out doing KYC but it actually went through in one day. Now I can trade without limits. you guys made it less painful than I expected.

J’ai eu une très mauvaise expérience avec leur trading futures hier. J’avais mis un stop-loss, mais le système a buggué pendant un flash crash et il ne s’est pas déclenché à temps. J’ai perdu beaucoup plus que prévu. Quand j’ai ouvert un ticket, le support m’a juste répondu avec des phrases génériques du style « volatilité du marché » avant de fermer le dossier. Je ne suis pas débutant, je sais très bien que ce qui s’est passé n’était pas normal. Franchement déçu et je pense réduire ma position ici.

Support is silent; they just say to wait because they’re conducting a review. I have no idea what they’ve been reviewing for the past two months, but I still haven’t received a response.
I received an email notification saying the account had passed verification and I could continue using it, but when I log in, the account is still blocked.
I absolutely do not recommend this platform—it’s full of clueless, narrow-minded people.

Charting tools integrate well with TradingView, which makes technical analysis straightforward. I don't have to switch between platforms constantly!!!

After withdraw crypto to my personal wallet, Gate blocked any new withdraws. It´s been +8 months that I can´t withdraw my money, more than 10k stuck on Gate!
I´ve send multiple tickets to support, always replays from Ai Bots, and when someone replies say they are going so upscale, Replying: “please wait, your funds are safe” “Please rest assured that we are doing everything we can to expedite the process and will notify you as soon as the issue is resolved. Thank you very much for your patience and understanding.. “ bla..bla.. for +8 months now!
I´ve send emails to Gate Support, Gate OPS, Gate Regulatory, and they don´t resolve the situation, always stalling! Saying for me to contact an India police inspector or seek India legal advice, and I´m from Europe! Never been to India nor do I know any India citizens!

As a seasoned trader, I appreciate the depth of their charting tools and the liquidity on their futures markets. The execution is snappy even during high volatility.

Terrible exchange, since 2026 they ask for passport for EU, but when creating the account and first KYC - ID was enough. Now if you dont have a passport your funds are stuck and you can go fk yourself, support wont help you.

gate.com yesterday I made 2X profit in perpetual contract after few hours they removed the liquidation percentage indicator and and led unwanted loss🤬

It is not fair, that gate.com does not send verification codes anymore to login to their trading platform. The support was not able to give access after 4 days.
I assume that this is due to low liquidity during the government shutdown. Customers shall not withdraw their assets.
