"Hi De, we would really appreciate of you stop leaving these defamatory reviews on our platforms and reporting us to different authorities. As discussed many times, you cancelled your subscription but did not unsubscribe from our mailing list. We have apologised to you for sending an email and have unsubscribed you from our lists and not contacted you since. We did not try to bribe you, a promotion of a free gift with your first order is not a bribe, simply a promotion. Kindly leave us and our 10,000 plus happy members alone."
My Review and response to Garden St Gin
I was on their subscription list. I cancelled I kept getting emails advertising. I followed their page to unsubscribe. I hit unsubscribe. I received emails still advertising offers.
I reported Garden Street Gin for breaking the Australian SPAM Act. 2003 No129 2003 Compilation 10
Part 2—Rules about sending commercial electronic messages
15 Simplified outline
16 Unsolicited commercial electronic messages must not be sent
17 Commercial electronic messages must include accurate sender information
18 Commercial electronic messages must contain a functional unsubscribe facility

I lodged a complaint the Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA) reporting this business as spamming me. It stopped. for a couple of months

I then received emails from Garden Street Gin again with special offers if I resubscribed. I again notified this business advising them that their marketing practices broke the Australian Government Laws for e marketing and promotions. This was via a phone call!
I was advised on that call I had been unsubscribed.
Approx 6 months later around November 2022 I received emails from Garden St Gin again!
I again hit unsubscribe using their link on the unsolicited email they sent. I reported them to the Australian Communications and Media Authority again.
2023 Emails from Garden St Gin again began to appear, again I unsubscribed again via their own email to me link for unsubscribing.
I again reported them to the ACMA.
2024 26/10 email from Garden St Gin titled you are about to be unsubscribed. The photo title Don't be a stranger

I again went through the process of using the unsubscribe link on each and every one of these emails listed above.
Each time a new one came.
I again reported Garden St Gin to the ACMA.

The enforcement of the spam unsubscribe rules is one of ACMA’s compliance priorities.

Garden St Gin have demonstrated total disrespect for my rights under the Australian Spam Act. Numerous times.

Now they are blaming me. they keep attempting to have my reviews removed from trust pilot. So if you are one of their 10,000+ happy members great and you are unlikely to be reading this. .
Gordon St Gin seem to think that my right to review my personal experience is some how harassing them. This is a platform for positive and negative reviews. If Garden St Gin had unsubscribed me as they are legally responsible to do on my first request by ticking or going to the companies unsubscribe page via their very own link this would not be an issue.

Monthly boxes are lovely. However the 2 times I purchased extra products (not the monthly subscription) the orders went missing, were delivered late, I didn’t get the discount offered online and the customer service was HORRIBLE. They don’t return emails or phone calls.

I gave my daughter a gin subscription last xmas for 12 months
I have to say i am as pleased as she is with the gorgeous presentation,the Gin variety,the cute mixers and healthy snacks and fair price

I have decided i now want to continue the subscription for myself because i'm abit envious of her little Gin Bar haha

I definitely recommend Gardenstreet gift boxes over other boxes ive tired

Still waiting for delivery ... been nearly a month now and nothing.

I know AusPost has delays but something that was sent express post should not take 23 days. As logged enquiry with AusPost, reached out to company and only told pretty much to wait for them to resolve enquiry.
Do not provide any other assistance.

Purchased this as a birthday present and did so 10 days before birthday so it would hopefully be here on time.

But have nothing to show about from an unhappy partner who keeps being told that their gift is "in the mail".

Was my first experience with them and glad cancelled the subscription as new shipment would have been sent whilst still awaiting the old.

Bought The Gingin Gin box for myself. Was so totally blown away by the gorgeous packaging, the flowers on the box, the straw packing, all before I even got to the contents! So impressed that I jumped straight back online and ordered the same box for my sister to cheer her up in lockdown. She cried when she opened it. Attention to detail and incredibly well presented. Made all the difference!

I love receiving my packs quarterly - packaged really well and like receiving a present from myself. My fave so far is Gingin Gin - if you happen to have any left over, I'm more than happy to purchase an extra one of those :)

Garden Street Gin Club where amazingly kind and generous when I wanted to sent a gift to a friend going through a tough time. My friend cried with joy when she opened the gift. She said it was so beautiful and a real treat. It made her feel special which is exactly what I wanted her to feel. So I highly recommend this company and their lovely presented products.

So happy with my purchase. I chose the gin to arrive alternate months. It arrives beautifully packaged and lots of extras. Love the fact they tell you about the gin and has recipes in the booklet. Great value each and every time. Wonderful company, delicious gin, great opportunity to try different gins from around Australia!
