I took my vintage 1975 Corvette to Dale who gave me a fair estimate to paint my convertible. They had my car for about 4-5 weeks. Through the process, I observed the work being done; "hood, deck doors bumpers all removed" to prep. They painted the car + the auxiliary top. Its was a professional job from beginning to completetion. Today is April 4, 2026. This job was finished in 2019. I have "no complaints" with the work performed by Performance Auto Paint & Collision Center in Oklahoma City. I highly recommend them to anyone wanting a professional job done on their motor vehicle.

I want to help share good stuff about people.

I received an email to endorse a friend. I endorsed him and all of a sudden. Everybody's getting emails from me to endorse me. I did not approve this. This is a scam and I don't appreciate them. Sending emails without my authority.I would not trust this website

Intentionally Deceptive Practices

I am among those caught in the spam email loop. I was sent multiple "Quick endorsement requests" from someone over a span of months, with the requests increasing to a weekly frequency in March 2026. The pushiness of it annoyed me, and because this is a person I only semi-regularly speak to, I clicked in an attempt to get them off my back. That process introduced me to a confusing experience that made it seem like you needed to opt-in to share your contacts in order to complete the review process.

In addition to not seeming like a choice, the language did not indicate that they'd be sending emails within hours of registration to your entire contact list. Even if I was a real person using this service, no realistic job seeker would want to spam their entire contact list for what is essentially an unprompted digital letter of recommendation. So why is it set up that way if this is a legitimate company? Furthermore, the email that is dispatched notes at the bottom in bold: "You’re receiving this because [Name] entered your email." I may have given "access" to my contacts inadvertently, but I never actively entered anyone's email anywhere, certainly not to spam them for a recommendation I don't need on a website I've never heard of. More deceptive behavior.

When I reached out to the person I thought had sent requests to me, they indicated they were not personally sending the requests (so no reason for me to suddenly start getting them once a week this month) and were unsure of how to stop it. I shared with them a process I found online, and have completed all of it minus the deletion of my account. After seeing other people who this happened to say GainRep was still sending emails using their names months after they had deleted, I want in writing from the company an assurance that my contacts will never be contacted by them or anyone they may have sold those email addresses to in any manner ever again before I delete the evidence/hub of these actions.

I have sent a support chat message and an email about this in addition to this review. Until I get a response and action is taken to confirm my contact list will not be spammed/phished, I stand by those calling it a spam/phishing attempt as it appears as if they're participating in intentionally deceptive behavior in order to harvest people's contact lists.

All around good guy, any thing I have to address no matter how big or benign, this is a great person having your corner someone who is truly knowledgeable and passionate about what they do.
