Not sure where to start. I spoke very highly about this company and have given them an enormous amount of money. Someone named Ashala use to always help me. Today, being I'm in an urgent situation needed to continue my funding. However, the employees that picked up were being wierd and not transferring me over to her; who I consider my Loan consultant as she does a great job. Today the employees were being reluctant to help or transfer me over and quickly saying I don't qualify. Which is a lie and bogus as Ive made more or even the same amount as usual. There is something strange and discriminating going and I don't appreciate it. This has left me in a great bind.

Review of My Experience with Fundo
I am sharing my experience to warn others and to formally document serious concerns regarding my loan with Fundo.
Loan Terms
I borrowed $500
I only received $400, because a $100 upfront fee was deducted immediately (a 20% fee before I even received the funds)
I was later charged a $1,500 “fine” for missed payments
I was threatened with liens
I was never given online account access or regular statements
A $100 fee on a $500 loan is already extremely high. Adding a $1,500 penalty on top of that raises serious concerns about excessive and potentially unlawful fees.
Lack of Transparency
I have not been provided:
Copies of my original loan agreement
An itemized payment history
A breakdown of fees and penalties
Clear payoff amounts
Online access to my account
Lenders are required to provide clear disclosures and payment records upon request. I have requested documentation and will continue to do so in writing.
Threats of Liens
I have received threats that a lien may be placed against me. A company cannot legally place a lien without:
Filing a lawsuit
Winning a judgment in court
Following proper state legal procedures
Threatening immediate liens without court action is concerning and may constitute improper debt collection conduct.
Identity Theft & Payment Issues
My payments were affected by documented identity theft and fraud. This directly impacted my ability to make payments on time. Despite this, I was charged a $1,500 “fine,” which appears excessive and punitive.
Regulatory Complaints Filed
Due to these issues, I have filed complaints with:
The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB)
The Better Business Bureau (BBB)
I will also be following up with:
My State Attorney General’s Office
My State Department of Financial Regulation / Financial Services
The Federal Trade Commission (FTC), particularly regarding identity theft
My Request to Fundo
I am formally requesting that Fundo:
Provide copies of all loan statements, balances, and fee breakdowns
Remove the $1,500 fine
Cease threats of placing a lien
Provide a clear written payoff amount
Close my account once resolved
At this point, I simply want this matter resolved fairly and legally. If the excessive $1,500 fine is removed, I believe the loan would be satisfied, and I would like the account closed so I can move forward and no longer do business with this company.
I strongly encourage transparency, proper documentation, and lawful collection practices going forward.

Been a customer for a while with a score very close to 1000, my pay doesn't change but still have issues with getting a loan when needed. To be honest hate myself for being in the situation that I need one in a first place but if I can't get help when needed what is point. Account deleted !

This company is a huge scam. They are not transparent about their fees, first of all. They approved me for a loan for $1,000. After I put everything through, they only gave me $900 and said that the $100 was an admin fee. Wtf? Then, theyre charging me about DOUBLE back! Then, I missed a payment and two days later they're threatening me with legal action. Fast forward a week or two and they collect a payment from me and then maybe 24 hours later theyre sending me more messages threatening legal action. Like, WHAT??? They call me all day every day. It's ridiculous. And THEN THEY MADE AND SIGNED CHECKS IN MY NAME!!!!!!!!!!! This is unbelievable. They never told me they were gonna MAKE AND CASH checks in my name in various odd amounts!!! This is the most ridiculous thing I've ever dealt with. RUN FAR AWAY! I DON'T CARE WHAT KIND OF BIND YOU'RE IN, IT'S NOT WORTH IT!
Also want to add that there apparently is no way for you to see how much you have paid or how much you owe. Logging into your account is useless. I logged in thinking I could get a pay off quote but there's nothing. No payment history, no balance, no schedule, literally nothing. They say to contact a representative for pay-off amount. I have literally never gotten any type of financing or loan where I was unable to check amounts/status on my own terms. Why cant i see my payment history? More scam tactics.

Easily one of the worst companies I've ever had the displeasure of working with. Zero actual customer service, and when you do finally get an agent to assist you it's text only. I've never had a more rude agent assist me on MULTIPLE occasions. Not only that they practice retaliation, their underwriting is based not only off of your income and performance (I paid my advance off two weeks early) but somehow they factor in conversations had with their unprofessional reps. Retaliation from a financial service is strictly prohibited by the CFPB, and I have formally filed a complaint with both them AND my state attorney generals office. Please do not ever use this company, even if you're desperate.

Not reputable ! Proceed with caution when using this company, The overall loan process with pay is highly manipulative and not in the same high standard verse of SPACE BANK, which i wish i had come across more earlier . I smile every week with a very good pay since i made the transition .

Be cautious utilizing this company: I did a $500 loan in July. Yes, they are wildly predatory and charging $1100 in return for that $500. Unfortunately, we were in a tough spot.

I had to update the bank account and card on file because we had a hacking issue. While I dealt with the hacking crap, I moved all our deposits to our secondary account.

I got a notice the payment didn't go through on Friday. (The timing was off and our deposit didn't get to post before the charge, and the bank declined it) Before I was even given a chance to call on Monday morning, they took it upon themselves to charge the old account. Now that account is negative and I have overdraft fees as a result after I just got this all fixed and everything moved from it!

I will be filing a dispute to the payment: not only did they just go ahead and charge it, they didn't even give me 24 business hours to call and correct anything.

Infuriated. I thought they were better than this, but I suppose since they're predatory loans, they arent. When I inquired, they responded with a snippet from the paperwork on how they're allowed to charge "Any of your accounts, known or unknown": please ensure you're revoking all of this authorization from them if you are using them.

They also don't provide any spot for you to like login and get your documentation. I've asked for the copies of my signed paperwork twice.

Excellent customer service. Easy process for getting my loan.

Easy process

Please save yourself the trouble and DO NOT work with this company. Its extremely predatorial in its lending practices codified with extenus language to trap struggles businesses in an insurmountable debit. I hope this message saves someone else.
