I was eager to begin my trading challenge with Funder Trading. I have a very specific way of trading and after several attempts, it became apparent that it was not going to be a good fit for me presently.
The people at Funder, Michael Patton and Danny Greenberg, went above and beyond, attempting to resolve the issue. They were incredibly accommodating and I would not hesitate doing business with Funder Trading

Listen guys 100% Legit. Follow the rules and hit your targets you get paid.. I passed the 2 phase challenge got paid out and now funded at real propfirm… It’s the real deal guys.. Only real propfirm I’ve found in the industry that doesn’t play dirty games

They brag about the fact that they support Stocks and Options trading but don't let you hold ANY Stock or Option trade overnight.

You are forced out of ALL trades at 3:55PM EST.
Unless you are trading 0DTE Options you lost all the benefit of trading Options.

They can save everyone time by putting we DO NOT FUND Swing or Overnight trades right on their WEBSITE.
Don't care that you teach those tactics.

This is my second review ... and I only made it 3-star to keep the average the same. Since we can't reply to their reply, I needed to leave an additional review to counter their dishonest response. If you haven't read the review titled, "So ... Scan the Scammer", you will need to read that first. In countering their reply, let's get started:

First of all, they were honest in their first response that I am on a challenge account that is simulated. That's true. As I stated, they want to make sure you don't pass the challenge, so that you keep paying $500/month. So when they say that it would be illogical for them to force a trader to lose, that's untrue. They say that they wouldn't intentionally force a trader to lose because they would be losing their own money, but that's not true, since the account is a simulated account. By making sure you don't pass the challenge, you're likely to pay for another round of the challenge. And what they potentially lose by jumping in and out of a stock at the same price, or within a couple of cents, means they lose very little if anything at all. I would venture to say that if I was one of their funded traders, things would be different. But I assume they have many funded traders, and obviously cannot fund everyone, so they easily set up the market manipulation instead.

Second, they claim that I am using a third part charting system that displays false data. I use the Think Or Swim platform, which is what they tell us to use, and what the coaches use. So to fall back on a claim that my data is false when it is the same data they are showing on the screen is ridiculous. I will say that the True Edge platform that they provide for trading does quite often show numbers very different from what Think or Swim shows, but that platform belongs to them to begin with.

Furthermore, to claim that they have shown me discrepancies on my own personal account is an outright lie. I do not allow them to view my personal account, and they have no access to it. Why would I share my personal account information with anyone?

Their defense that their software matches all the major trading platforms is irrelevant. If they put in a quick trade at a price to knock someone out of position, of course it still going to show on all platforms. It's just a price that served a different purpose, and then they can get out as quickly as they get in.

As far as their general claim that they don't do what I am saying, I will easily admit that there is no way I can completely prove their manipulation ... but the fact that I have been playing their system and using this against them again and again and again every week, day after day, on and on .. well, eventually coincidence is no longer coincidence. I'm not sure how many times you would need me to do it in order to prove it's true, but I assure you that I've met your number and more. And I did it again today. In fact, let's go through it together and I can guide you on the moment it happened.

Once again, I was trading PDD (personally, I watch them a lot and have a good feel for their reversals and momentums). I was waiting for them to fade back to where their opening candle closed, then expected them to reverse up. Perfectly, at 1:09pm, they did that. So, for confirmation, I waited until PDD crossed the 20-SMA. At 1:27pm, it did just that, and I jumped in on the Funder account for 725 shares at $133.37 each. Now, look at the next candle, and you see an immediate stem-drop to $112.56, and I was immediately out. And the second that happened, I jumped in out my personal account for my options, getting a 23 cents price lower than if I had jumped in at $133.37. Ten contracts, saved me $230. Now look at the next candle ... $113.71. Immediate drop, kicked out of the trade ... immediate jump up. This is the typical move every day. PDD went up to $114.20 shortly after that, which would have been more than a $600 gain, but instead was a $500 loss and kickout. Meanwhile, I am swinging the options account over the weekend, since I bought next week's expiration, but I am clearly in the green right now.

Again, they can easily deny this, and I admittedly only have the proof of this happening too many times to be coincidence. But I remain a member for the benefit of the manipulation. This week, as best I can calculate, I have gained an extra $1190 in "perfect entry manipulation." And I'll be back in their room Monday, quietly enjoying the same thing, I'm sure.

They are more than welcome to reply, and I have no reason to continue replying, but I hope this is helpful to everyone.

These guys are solid! Very helpful and support is always there for any questions. My first funded account for stocks, have yet to qualify for options. Look forward to working with this team for sure. Highly recommend Funder Trading for a stock/option prop account. True professionals.

Frankly, I think this whole thing is not what it seems to be. I actually passed my challenge, only to find out there was a kind of a double secret probation. I was even more limited once the real money was being traded. Like 1-3 options contracts (maybe $1-2k). They will literally close your position for you if you get even $200 down. I honestly don't think you will EVER actually have 100K to trade with. It's just a marketing ploy

I recently tried Funder Trading, hoping to benefit from their funding programs, but my experience was less than stellar. Here are the key issues I encountered:

Lack of Transparency: Funder Trading's fee structure and profit-sharing models were not clearly explained from the start. I found myself buried under hidden costs and unexpected deductions, which felt deceptive.

Slow Customer Service: Whenever I had questions or issues, the response time from their customer service team was abysmally slow. I often had to wait several days for a reply, which was frustrating and unhelpful.

Limited Educational Resources: For a company that markets itself as a support system for traders, their educational resources were surprisingly inadequate. The training materials and webinars were either too basic or outdated, leaving me without the guidance I needed to succeed.

Rigorous Evaluation Process: While some might see their evaluation process as a challenge, I found it overly stringent and unrealistic. The criteria for passing were not clearly outlined, leading to confusion and unnecessary stress.

Technical Issues: I experienced frequent technical glitches with their trading platform, including lag and connectivity problems. This significantly impacted my trading performance and overall experience.

Questionable Performance Metrics: The performance metrics and tracking tools provided were not very reliable. I noticed discrepancies in my trading stats that made it difficult to assess my progress accurately.

Overall, Funder Trading did not meet my expectations, and I wouldn't recommend it based on my experience. If you're considering using their services, proceed with caution and be prepared for potential frustrations.

MIKE PATTON'S COACHING STYLE has helped me get to where I am today as a brand new trader! I have been with Funder now since October 2023. I am very new to Trading and came in with very very little skills in this arena. The coaching style is based on experience and is very hands on. The PROP REPORTS is the key to this whole thing as it really tracks for you what you are doing every day and every hour. This report is the game changer for me. It is the scoreboard that I look at everyday to see how much I have improved. I started with a Batting Average of 16% and Win to Lose Ratio of .27%. Today my Batting Average is now close to 40% and my win to lose ratio is currently above 1.35%. I now know when I should be trading, what stocks I should be trading and how many contracts I need to do my options trading. I am not quite funded yet...but I know that I will get there...SOON!!! The support team has been nothing but FANTASTIC! They are responsive, understanding, and very accommodating with my very busy schedule. Their tech support is a text away! I also live in the Chicago area and know where their corporate office is located. This give me such a comforting feeling that they are not outside the United States and would potentially disappear on me without notice ( just like other Prop firms I have joined in the passed). I definitely recommend Funder Trading to anybody who wants to get a funded account of $100,000...nothing like them anywhere. I searched high and low for a company who offered a challenge for this much money everywhere. There are a lot of Companies who provides this for trading in the FOREX Market---but not OPTIONS!

customer service is/has been, exemplary, with very timely, detailed explanations, instructions, when needed!

Day trading is hard work. If you go into it believing otherwise, you'll figure it out quickly. Having said that, it can be a very rewarding experience - working where and when you want, living the life you want and making a very good living. But you can't do this on your own!
The Funder Trading team have gone ABOVE and BEYOND to help me in my journey as a day trader. The patience and support of the team - Danny Greenberg in particular - have been remarkable. I would recommend Funder without reservation to anyone who is serious about learning this craft and who appreciates the guidance and support of a professional organization.

My experience with Funder Trading was Excellent for the following reasons;
1) The Coaching Room is a true trading educational experience as well as daily recommendations based on the days activity.
2) The Help Desk has an Extremely quick response time to resolve any issues you may have with the Trading software
3) The Sales Team follows up to make sure you understand what's needed to achieve the Goal of completing the Challenge successfully!

This is not a good prop firm with there way over priced challenge and the restrictions on what you can trade and how you can trade for the price I payed still feels like I payed to fail and was not able to get any of my money back before the first half of the 1st challenge was over and realized the options challenge was just as much as bs as the stock challenge it's like they are against easy money making strategies if I was able to use 2 leg options I would ha e passed easily but nope a restriction on those strategies after that I wanted my refund but was just ignored seeing how I was only using 1 challenge I would have accepted 2/3 of my money back seeing how nothing was informing me of all of the restrictions on trading. this is for the the ones who think im talking about a different company, "Welcome to Funder Trading!

My experience with Funder Trading hasnt just improved my trading but has Pushed my life in the right direction all around. When I passed the challenge I also made all my money back and they honored the 100% profit 100% Honestly I was surprised How incredible of people they proved themselves to be. They have really become my family in a sense and They have done more to help me than many families do for eachother. If you read another review and its anything less than excellent, its more than likely because the person was mad at themselves for not taking my Coach and Boss Michael's Advice or they didnt take advantage of how extraordinarily helpful Danny is (Who runs the help desk and a large chunk of the company as a whole) These people went so far out of their way to help me so many times I will be forever loyal and grateful to them and I hope to someday Invest In and maybe even run my own wing of the company. This is because literally ANYONE can become a successful trader through Funder Trading. I am hella bullish on funder trading. Too bad FT is already a ticker symbol! Im not nearly as bullish on that ticker...
