We love our 16 wall yurt. It was a surprisingly easy install — over a long weekend.

But I REALLY, REALLY love the customer service. Our yurt experienced a major flood. I've never experienced such thoughtful, hyper-responsive customer service. They talked me through all the steps I needed to fix the yurt — until everything got thoroughly fixed. They went far above and beyond.

I highly recommend them.

We bought our Freedom Yurt about 3 years ago and it’s still going strong! We use our yurt as a short term rental and our guest love it! Buy one today you won’t regret it, their communication through out the whole process was amazing!

I am absolutely amazed! In June my name was picked in Freedom Yurt Cabins’ drawing for a custom fire pit at the Tiny Home Show.
Cody was so helpful and patient as my wife and I chose the designs for the fire pit. We chose images that represent each of our children and one for the two of us.
On the Friday night just before Halloween, we had a visit from a very kind couple from Arkansas who had driven all day to personally deliver this BEAUTIFUL fire pit created by H&M Fabrication. It really is a piece of art.
My hat goes off to both Freedom Yurt Cabins and H&M Fabrication for this incredible fire pit. Thank you!

My wife and I have ordered 4 yurt cabin packages from Freedom Yurt Cabins and we are very happy. The quality of the cabins themselves are great but the people and service are even better. There have been some mistakes along the way (which happens to all of us in business, no one is perfect) but the one thing I most appreciate is how these things have been handled. This is a company that genuinely tries to do the right thing. Ken, Scott and Joe have been really great to work with and I would highly recommend.

The overall customer service is the best that I have experienced with a retailer. The company’s willingness to listen to feedback and improve upon suggestions is rarely, if ever, found. The finished product is of excellent quality, and the areas in which it is lacking are continually being addressed and improved upon.

Overall very happy with our 18 wall yurt cabin kit and quality of product purchased. The instructions were super easy to follow and it truly did get all assembled in 5 days. Very happy to have such a solid structure in a high alpine windy environment. More impressive than the structure itself is the team at Freedom Yurt Cabins. It is not often you find a company in this day and age with every employee that I have encountered having a genuine pride in what they do and in the product they provide to their customers. The structure is amazing but if you truly want to work with a company that cares about their product and customers it is the entire team at Freedom Yurt Cabins! From initial interest, to sale, to even accommodating a factory tour, to delivery, to installation and even after sale follow up they have been there the entire way. Truly impressive! Thank you!

From the moment I called with questions before I made a decision to purchase the large 18 panel yurt, I got superior service. The product is outstanding, I live in My yurt full-time and just love the openness of the space. Great quality materials and great customer service. Joe and Cody were always there to answer any questions I had, and I had many. It’s been easy to add accessories to my yurt because their website has a variety of options that have already been pre-designed for these yurt applications. I couldn’t be happier.

Completed floor insulation within two weeks which was hard and tricky.
once I finally screwed the 3/4 inch plywood floor down there was unevenness at the joints due to warping of the 2x6 floor joists. needed to have a flooring guy sand the high points in the floor before I could lay down premium vinyl, bummer, but turned out fine.
now one year later the floor is still a bit uneven, but okay in a general way. Still not completely satisfied with the floor to my high standard.
One year and one winter later the valance is drooping in MANY areas around the top. Very difficult to keep the valence from drooping and wished that there was a better way to keep it in place. Am thinking of solutions and none are obvious.
Window caps to keep the rain off the window have been ordered as this is simply an annoyance, but a real one.
Overall, I am very pleased as the interior is beautiful and the comfort level inside is very nice.

For the most part we are pleased with our yurt, though there have been a few issues. We erected our yurt last October and have been living in it full-time since late April.
1. The entrance door as installed by Freedom did not close properly. A friend and I spent 3 hours re-hanging the door. Now works beautifully.
2. Screen door that we ordered with the yurt was a piece of crap that worked for 2 weeks. Replaced with a magnetic closure screen door that works great and was a 1/10 of the cost.
3. During April, May, and early June we dealt with relentless high winds. The yurt was snug and sound. However, the awning mounts over the front door did not fair well. Have had to replace the hole mounts for the angled poles extending from the awning. Original mounts made of fir cracked and disintegrated. Made new mounts out of laminated plywood which should never crack.

The yurt is incredible, the structure exceeded our expectations. We had some delivery issues in a very rural location with a driver that is no longer used, but otherwise the experience has been phenomenal. Avoid those cheep lattice yurts and get something built to last.

We bought 2 25" Freedom Yurt Cabin kits. So far we have put up one kit and were pleasantly surprised at how smooth of a process it was! We truly did have it up in 4 days with 2-4 people helping each day. We now have it nearly finished and are so impressed with how beautiful of a space it is! We have been showing it off to friends and family and everyone is very complimentary. We actually are looking forward to putting up the second yurt! We plan to rent these on Airbnb and also use them for retreats for our business (Hope Anew). We are located in Ohio, so we took advantage of the insulation package that FY offers and will know more this winter how that pans out.

I researched and debated never having heard of Freedom Yurt Cabins before. I am so glad I went with them. They are an amazing company! Everything was quality all the way and they went above and beyond to help me get my yurt cabin set up. I've been in one now for over 2 years and couldn't be happier.

It takes more time when doing it alone, with insulation in the floor and wiring, but the final product is so much better than a fabric Yurt.

Freedom yurt cabins are the answer to anyone who wants a yurt but is not a fan of the usual lattice wall and tent setup. Freedom yurt cabins come totally ready to put up with ease, if you have a little know how, and a couple of friends. We have ours up and are currently working on the inside flooring and decor. We couldn’t be happier with the product and the people/product support!

I love my yurt!

We love our little yurt!! No issues at all during several bomb cyclone blizzards❄🌬 I think the shape helped the drifts to form away from the building!
We purchased the show load upgrade and insulation package under the yurt.

I have found most everything about my Yurt very satisfactory, from the instructions and support in the building process, to the actual enjoyment of living in it. I have one concern that I would like to see addressed, and that is the seal around the roof line. I live in a windy area and I believe that there could be some improvement on air leakage at the roof line. Once this issue is addressed, I could recommend the Yurt for any environment.
