The quality was Ok it’s just the paint would easily come off within a few usage which is annoying. I have other brands it doesnt scratch and the color is still there.

Bought two one of them broke so easily and I still use the only other one I have which doesn’t get cold in the fridge only in the freezer and when I take it out it’s always too frozen that I can’t enjoy my water

Ordered some water bottles 3 weeks ago and still not received. Emailed customer services and no reply. Not able to contact via phone. Very poor customer service. No response

Very poor quality. Bought around 1 year ago and they refused to replace it as they said it was just general wear and tear - all the paint has chipped off. Wouldn’t buy again!

Have 4 Frank Green products - all leak, all have paint chipping off within weeks of buying. Customer services is awful, when they bother to reply they aren't helpful at all.

Their website and marketing is beautiful but the reality is it is overpriced / poor quality and not suitable for the purpose it was intended for.

I purchased a customized product that did not match the item shown on the official website. When I tried to resolve the issue with the merchant, they kept offering unrealistic excuses to deflect responsibility. What’s particularly concerning is that the customer service team provided a screenshot from the official website that clearly differed from the one I had captured myself. After this discrepancy was pointed out, they gave a vague response saying the issue would be reported to the company, then quickly reverted to reiterating their policy that customized products are non-refundable. It is evident that the customer service expects customers to accept a series of unreasonable and absurd justifications.

Terrible customer service, no helpful response whatsoever. The product is way overhyped and definitely overpriced. Trying to return it has been a nightmare. You have to cover the return shipping yourself, all the way back to Australia. Really disappointed.

We bought Frank Green bottles for the whole family—seven in total—because we believed in the brand’s quality and sustainability promise. Unfortunately, we’ve had serious issues with the lids developing mould, even after following all the recommended cleaning instructions.

Despite our efforts, the problem persisted, and we were disappointed to find that there was no reasonable support or option to replace the lids. It’s incredibly frustrating to invest in a product that is marketed as premium, only to be let down by poor durability and lack of customer service.

We expected better from a brand that positions itself as environmentally conscious and customer-focused. Sadly, we won’t be recommending Frank Green to others after this experience.

This bottle genuinely just sucks, and so does the company and customer service. It constantly leaks, and has ruined two bags by now. It’s difficult to clean, and the customer service is quite frankly disgusting for a £40 bottle. I have had it for less than a year and it has nonstop problems.

Admittedly my own fault for not believing ALL of my friends who said DO NOT BUY Frank Green. It's been less than six months and the kids (I bought spares) have black mould growing in them that I was unable to remove with baking soda, vinegar and scrubbing. The bottle started to rust under the protective bumpers I purchased and the paint came flaking off. According to customer support I should be able to remove the mould with "warm soapy water" and none of this is considered a quality issue. You've been warned, read the reviews and take them seriously!!! Give your money to a company that deserves it and takes your feedback onboard!!!

I clean my kids frank green bottles regularly, to today noticing once trying to pull it apart (as I could taste an off taste) The lid and the flip straw was full of black mould. Im absolutely disgusted that my kids have been drinking from these bottles. I had to use a knife to get the flip straw out and even broke one trying to do so. These are not made easy to clean and I can guarantee there are many others out there who are not aware of this. The bottles damage easily also. Stay away from these bottles! In the bin ours go!

They get mouldy in between the lid and flip straw and it's impossible to clean without pulling it apart once you pull it apart it doesn't work properly again the sip piece becomes loose
These are poorly designed and not worth the huge price tag !

After one week of use my daughter's bottle colour was fading underneath the bumper. I emailed customer service and they were so dismissive. WARRANTY CLAIM - apparently the colour fading isn’t considered a manufacturing fault and is classified as cosmetic damage, which is part of normal "wear and tear." (After one week ??!!)They said that this doesn't affect the functionality of the bottle so it doesn't come under a warranty issue. Disgusting and dismissive customer service.

I purchased a Frank Green bottle in February 2025 and used it exclusively for drinking water. After just one month, I noticed an unpleasant taste, and upon closer inspection, I found visible mould inside the mouthpiece — an area that cannot be properly cleaned because the lid doesn’t disassemble.
Despite regular cleaning and careful use, customer service refused to offer a replacement lid, claiming it’s not considered a manufacturing fault. This is quite disappointing, especially for a premium product that should be designed to last and ensure hygiene.
I wouldn’t recommend this bottle if you’re looking for something easy to maintain and reliable over time.

The bottle was great and kept my drinks cool. However, within 6 months the paint of my bottle started to chip off. This was despite me using it at my desk and at work. The paint was getting everywhere, to the point it was unusable as I on more than one occasion would find flecks of it on my face / my pets eyes, etc. I got in contact with the team as it was still within warranty - and I have multiple friends who have the same bottle with no issue - yet was told this was normal wear and tear and there is nothing they can’t do. Really disappointing as the brand is supposedly sustainable, yet, I have a bottle I cannot use due to their poor materials / manufacturing. The team was decidedly unhelpful with no suggestion as to how I could stop the damage further. No offer of a free bumper guard to help with the worst of the damage, or and offer of a replacement or refund. Very, very disappointing especially considering the ethos of Frank Green. If you’re considering a bottle, please do your research before you buy

The cups are not holding heat. Don't bother buying it. The ones I bought at Decathlon or Anaconda for much cheaper were more efficient. Very disappointing. I had bought 2 for my husband and I because I was very pleased with the bottles. I contacted the customers service to let them know that I wanted to return the cups because they were not keeping the drinks warm long enough and on top of that they were leaking-it stained one of my nice bag... The customer service though they could see that I had purchased several bottles as Christmas presents, did not accept to take back the cups. So I will not buy again. The drinking bottles are very good though. The bad review is for the cups and for the customer service

I bought a gradient water bottle for $55. Within FOUR DAYS the colour was significantly chipping off. I contacted them and was told, hey, you can still drink from it, hooray!! $55 for a bottle that starts deteriorating within days of arriving. They still won’t admit that it’s poor quality after constant back and forth. Never again.

I strongly advise against purchasing their water bottle. I had to discard two lids due to a flawed design that makes it impossible to thoroughly clean beneath the flip-top, allowing mold to develop. Despite trying every possible cleaning method and investing a lot of time, I couldn't resolve the issue. I deeply regret this purchase—it’s far from environmentally friendly. Very disappointed.

Bought three of the bottles for my daughters. They are v difficult to clean and the straw collected black mould easily. Had to throw away these bottles after 2 months costing over £100. Would NOT replace with this product. The design looks cool but not practical - would not recommend.

This product is so bad it doesn’t fulfil its single purpose of holding water - two lids now and it leaks whenever in my bag and not upright

$80 for a water bottle that can’t fulfill its basic function - you pay $80 because it’s fashion statement but f me Frank green - how hard is it to make a water tight water bottle.

Would defo hire their marketing team though as to sell this garage is truly impressive marketing.
