Fraley Tutors is a specialist maths and physics tutoring agency — not an ed-tech platform, and not a tutor marketplace. We're a curated team of exceptional young mathematicians and physicists, most studying at top UK universities including Imperial, UCL, LSE, Warwick, Bristol and Manchester, backed by a genuinely powerful learning platform built to make great tutoring sharper, never to replace it. Every tutor recently sat the exact exams our students are working towards — GCSE, A-level, IB, and university admissions tests including STEP, TMUA and ESAT — so they know the current syllabi, spot the exact gap a school explanation missed, and explain things in a way that clicks. Lessons are strictly one-to-one, held online via Google Meet, typically 60 minutes a week, with no lock-in contracts. We were founded by Alex Fraley, a PhD candidate in theoretical particle physics at the University of Manchester, who holds a Distinction in Part III of the Mathematical Tripos at Cambridge and a first-class MPhys from Manchester. He personally interviews and vets every tutor for both academic excellence and teaching ability before they join. Whether a student has fallen behind and needs the explanation that finally makes sense, or is already strong and pushing for the top grade, our tutors steer a deliberate plan all the way to exam day — supported between lessons by a platform that reviews homework instantly and helps the tutor walk into every session already knowing exactly where a student is stuck.

Great tuition
Both Alex and James have been fantastic for Louis and his GCSE revision in maths and science. Well structured, confidence building sessions that he enjoyed and a huge amount of other support available. We would highly recommend.

Physics Review
Oscar tutored me in GCSE Physics and did a beyond amazing job.
His lessons were always engaging, interesting and informative. He truly cares about helping students reach their highest potential and provides a refreshing break from the tired way Physics is taught in schools.
Now on results day, after only ever receiving 4s in physics at school I got a 7 and I credit it all to his amazing teaching.

Great tutors
Engaging, clear, well organised lessons given by young, enthusiastic subject specialists. My daughter had 3 months of gcse physics and said it was the first time she had ever understood physics. I’ve got 3 kids and have used a lot of tutors in my time but Fraley have been the best. Also really cost effective. Would highly recommend!!
