Postage seems a little high, but mostly half of my items were in damaged ripped/crushed boxes totally unacceptable

Shocking sales
Ordered an au gift set for Xmas. Item arrived damaged, packaging all split/opened - had been cellotaped to look half decent. Stickers weren’t stuck down, glasses scratched, rolling around the box.. And yes they were scratched as I have picture proof. Item looked 2nd hand (shocking) requested refund. Requested refund - after several different attempts to contact someone, I finally had a reply. I was advised they open items to re package.. who does this? So all the seals were broken for what? So it would arrive to me all open and if no use! And then Finally after nearly 2 weeks I had a label given me. Driving round to get someone to take it was a nightmare. Yes it was a joke! Sent item back for refund to receive partial refund. Item was sent back exactly how I received it. The package was sent to me open and exactly how I received it. I stated I would return how it was sent to me. I have contacted trading standards regarding how they deal with things. Not good at all!!! Who opens packaging and re cello tapes it back down to sell.. absolutely shocking!! Iv left this review to warn others.. but to be honest from reading all others peoples reviews I wish I never purchased. Says it all!!

Fantastic service 10/10
Jack Daniels has always been my choice of tipple & to my surprise I found Frabco by chance looking for JD & wow it was a 3 litre bottle for a great price ordered on a Sunday & it was delivered the following Tuesday morning fantastic service....!!!!!!!!

Very annoying paying for 48 hours…
Very annoying paying for 48 hours delivery and then receiving an email telling me my purchase qualified for free delivery, which included within 48 hours.
Then the delivery e mail quotes prices for the product and Nano insurance which are both different, and cheaper, than I paid.
I feel ripped off.

Dear DH. After speaking with you, it is clear what happened. You chose not to accept the free shipping option that was offered because you did not think the item would arrive in time. You specifically selected the 1 to 2 days service that cost £5.60 (this was your chosen method). As discussed on the phone, we have issued a full refund for the postage you paid as a goodwill gesture. I am sorry yo did not decide to contact us first before leaving this review but we are glad to know that your item arrived with your daughter the next day and she is very happy with it. I hope you decide to edit this review to reflect how we resolved this as you said you would. Thank you for your business.
