8/8/26 filed for a company was told 10 days. after calling everyweek, 9/9/26 they told me the name was rejected (lie). i put a new name in now they say 40 days. 10/7/26 today i called the state they said original name was good and formations messed up on the paperwork. 2 month of formation lieing and giving me the runaround after 20+ emails 30+ calls any response i got was "wait" or "its not our fault" but it was. They also SPAM called me everyday to buy more products even though they couldnt do the first thing i paid for. useless, liars, unproffesional. DO NOT USE THIS PLACE

I do not recommend setting up your LLC through Formations.llc. I had a very bad experience. Besides constantly trying to sell additional services, they are unreliable. I tried to file my statement of information online in California, but I was unable to because Formations set it up and didn’t give me access. I requested access, but I heard nothing for over a month.
I confirmed with state department that the third party formations need to give me access to my LLC online. i contacted Formations support and heard nothing for over a week until I emailed them multiple more times. They finally gave me access less than 2 weeks before statement of information was due and made up excuses. I barely avoided getting fined and my business suspended. I canceled my account with them because they aren’t competent or reliable.

Very disappointing experience with Formations. I would not recommend their service based on what happened with my LLC filing.

I was told that my documents had been submitted to the state, but after waiting about 10 days, my filing was rejected. When I contacted the state directly, I was told they could not find the response/submission that Formations LLC said they had sent.

I tried contacting Formations repeatedly by phone and email, but I could not get a timely response or speak with anyone who could resolve the issue. I had to follow up numerous times just to request a refund.

In the end, I submitted the LLC filing myself directly through the state, and it was approved within one day.

My experience was extremely frustrating and cost me valuable time. The communication and customer service were not what I expected, and I felt I was given conflicting information about the status of my filing.

Based on my experience, I would recommend filing directly with the state rather than relying on Formations LLC. I would not use Formations again.

Paid for an expedited LLC filing and after 2 weeks, still nothing. I didn’t even receive a confirmation email of the transaction. But they definitely took the $422 bucks. There is no 1-800 number to speak to anyone. Email communication is pretty much nonexistent! Very frustrating

Filled out info for LLC with the free process - constant scammy emails AND PHONE CALLS, immediately sold all of my company info to businesses and scammers. They’re the only ones that have my company name and I’ve gotten over a dozen adverts and scam letters in a week.

total scam. would give negative stars if possible. it's just one guy running the entire "operation" and he has no idea what he's doing.

Was promised 1 day turn a round. Never happened. called to reach for help and told to leave message. Noone calls back. least expensive but you get lies about a discount of $50 by Kristine. MIA. would not recommend to my worst enemy

I tried using this company to do my LLC. They raped my bank account and are still going in my bank and withdrawing large amounts of funds saying it’s to setup bank business relationship and building website and I have spoken to anyone but these MF have gone in bank account and depleted all the funds in my bank account. I’m requesting a full recovery of my bank funds and discontinuing this service because I feel they’ve taken advantage of having access to my banking information! Never do business with a company like this. Fraudulent transactions

The website information is very confusing, and when I try to get customer support from online or through phone, there is no-one actually is answering within 24hrs.

I used this company nearly 2 years ago. They took a long time to get my company registered which is the first issue I had. Secondly after the first year I made an attempt to contact them to reduce some of the services I had paid for and to get a refund on that since I was just charged for it. This was very difficult to even get in contact with a person to talk to. I had to correspond with someone through email for a week before they finally gave me a number to call and that was not easy either. They said they would refund me but never did. You will end up talking to peoe in India or Indians in California. They do not want to help and they make it difficult to do anything and avoid trying to do what you ask. Then they will call and harass you to purchase their services and offer you loans. And they are rude in their calls when you don't want it. I asked them to not call me anymore. That lasted about 2 months and they did it again. I do not recommend them as there has to be something better than this and quicker too. I waited a month or more and had to call as to why my business was in review for so long and then they finally got the ball rolling on it. I would avoid them for something else.

The staff was there to answer every answer and they file paper work in a time manner and overall nice and helpful.
