I over-ordered by mistake. FP amended the quantity of my order promptly and with no fuss.

Extremely disappointed. Book has numerous pages with SEVERE creasing.
Clearly a quality control issue that got missed at the printing factory.

Tried to get in touch with a rep to report this, but was not easy to navigate through the returns options.

This book is only fit for the rubbish bin.

Really disappointing, as I expected much better from Forbidden Planet.

Super speedy delivery and all arrived in perfect condition, only just got into collecting comics and very excited to read and display them, forbidden planet has always been a favourite shop,

Very poor service in every way shape and form. Another generic reply with a few words changed without actually responding in a proper manner.

"We're sorry, our delivery of Archie Is Mr Justice #4 (Cover C Matt Talbot) has been delayed and we don't currently have a new date at the present time."

Every other store in the country have received their stock (I have reached out to several stores and they are also for sale elsewhere) another unfulfilled order!

"We don't charge orders until the items are in stock and ready to be despatched so this won't have been charged yet and if you wished to cancel or update any details, please head to Your Account online and click into the order you wish to adjust. If you checked out as a guest let us know and we can cancel that order for you."

As I explained in my email that you didn't take the time to read. If using site credit orders are charged instantly. You're telling me to cancel through my account which then leaves me out of pocket because you don't refund the delivery costs that I paid. Meaning I lose money and you gain money for not providing the service/items I paid for.

Very informative a variety of Geeky Merchandise ranging from Funkos to Lego and action figures also variants 10/10 would rate again

Forbidden Planet's comic book subscription service is stealing money by double & triple charging postage costs.
The subscription service allows the customer to auto preorder comic books, manga, etc. The way that it does it is by creating an order to be fulfilled later, the orders are intelligent enough to try an combine comic that release within a week of each other. In the event that subscription preorders comics books with more than 2 weeks of release, it adds double postage (this is expected since 2 parcels are being posted).
The theft comes into effect when your subscription creates a new order while one or more are outstanding, this occurs when an order can't be fulfilled due to publishers delaying the release. In this event Forbidden Planet combines all the outstanding orders into a single parcel, but still charges you postage for each order.
Most recently I had 3 orders outstanding and I was charged £31.14, the correct amount should have been £23.66, so I was overcharged £7.48 in postage.
Trying to get your money back, is a nightmare, the website only allows you to send a message & when they respond, they blame you for the system's failure.
Its interesting that their system is intelligent enough to combine order in one parcel, but too dumb to only charge the correct postage

Problem with delivery of my order which was entirely my fault. Forbidden Planet gave me a full refund including postage. Also super-quick response time to my e-mails back and forward trying to get to the bottom of the problem (literally next day in a couple of cases).

Forbidden Planet mail order is excellent. I’ve been a customer for many years, used to have comic pull lists in a local store in the late 90’s, early 2000’s but I’ve gone more into digital comics in recent years. However I now go down to London every couple of months and always visit the London Megastore. More recently I’ve started buying some hardcover omnibus editions of favourite series and after a less than impressive experience with Amazon who do not adequately pack books leading to them being received with damage, I’ve switched orders to Forbidden Planet and always find the books to be extremely well packed and received in perfect condition.

I've been ordering a lot with Forbidden planet and I've never had a bad experience.

They always keep me updated by email abut release date changes and when my items are sent fir delivery. Another 10 star experience

Really poor service. Take your money for items clearly not in stock - don't respond to emails, leaving you to chase for a refund / delivery .

I ordered a Dog Man picture for my grandson but it arrived quite badly creased. I contacted Forbidden Planet & received an answer very quickly, I sent some photos of the damage & again very quickly got instructions & a label to send the picture back - within a couple of days I was sent a replacement. Forbidden Planets’ customer service is excellent 👌! The website is very good - great selection & easy to navigate. I’m sure my grandson will be very pleased with his birthday present which has arrived in time!
