Great experienced instructors

The instructors are very professional and understanding of the different abilities of each participant who goes. As a person who works on a cruise ship, the instructors were very patient and understood that we may not be as strong in the practical portions of the course as many of us do not do firefighting or wear the survival suit on a regular basis or at all. Facilities are appropriate and well kept for practical use.

There were 8 people on the course, 7 of them were Dutch, and in the end I was the only one who did not pass. I already have offshore certificates and experience completing similar courses in other international training centers across Europe, so this situation was very surprising to me.

During the practical session, I spent more than an hour underwater and completed more than 10 attempts, but the instructor kept failing me for very minor details. It felt as though perfect performance was expected, as if we deal with helicopter emergency situations every day, even though these courses are only renewed once every few years.

With all due respect to the center and the equipment, I was personally disappointed with the approach and would not return here again. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this training center to people of other nationalities.

The experience was overall and in details truly amazing. It was my best training ever. The only thing I don't understand in principle is to why selling safety training on Fridays. Everyone is in rush to leave as soon as possible. Maybe on other days people are too busy with their jobs anyway.

Zeer behulpzaam en telefonisch altijd bereikbaar en cursussen worden vakkundig uitgelegd voor mijn volgende cursussen heb ik mijn vaste adres nu.

The instructors were very knowledgable and worked me on on a Saturday so I could finish my GWO course refresher before it expired. Much appreciated!

Prima training, prima instructeur, maar na x keer de refresher te hebben gedaan is het allemaal veel van hetzelfde. Seen it, done that....
Maar dat is niets ten nadele van FMTC. Die doen het goed.

I’ve taken a lot of courses. This one was explained very thoroughly in efficiently even before we got to the hands zone part. I feel like I had a grasp on it, which made it easier for me to learn.
